After watching the Intro video and quick backstory on my experience with Oniric, we dive into the plugin and work with two example images which can be downloaded via the link below. I’ve been blown away with what Oniric can do in the time in which it works. It’s truly a huge time saver and very nice “icing on the cake” in that it gives you a small bit of extra pop when wrapping up a composite or Large scale effect if you’re using it as a primary effect. Either way works, and works well!

Keep in mind that as mentioned in the video, there is no need to concern if you have slight slow downs with large format 16 bit images. Part of the non destructive nature of Oniric is that it works with smart objects, which are generally slow in Photoshop anyhow.
