Your right why spend 6-7000 dollars more, could use that money for a Stage 2 or 3 or suspension . It's all about the money look what they want for CVO'S with 117 engines they should have 131's in them from factory good suspension too.

it does bring up good options. i have never liked the look of the Heritage. i also hate the look of those passing lamps beside the headlight on most bikes. i would swap the turn signals on that bike for the custom dynamics i think make the driving lights/turn signals combo so you have both and looks sleeker to me. i seen a amp for bikes that makes the front 2 speakers very good so i rather have that setup then speakers in the bags. and i havent found one just yet but i rather have a XM type radio over the infotainment thing. if i was going for one of these bikes. good vid

I owned a 2008 and recently a 2019 EGS. They are great bikes that I had fun upgrading. I got great deals on both. Harley should have kept this model at $20 and added the 114 engine. 2023 base SGs or RGs with 107 engines are around $26 and still have 107s. Interestingly the SG or RG ST models weigh slightly less than the EGS and you get a 117 engine. There are discounts to be had if you only buy in non-riding months. I got $3000 off the 2019 EGS I bought early spring 2020 because the dealer needed to move it. Enjoyed the video.

I got a 2020 and I love it. Just so balanced riding down the road. It's fast, but I'm gonna make it even faster.

I’m interested in the stereo/amp setup to allow the Bluetooth connection and power all four speakers.

Its a shame they axed this bike. A road glide version would have been awesome as well. Unfortunately Harleys are going the other direction now and theyll probably never have another bargain bike again. Stupid Jochen

@The Infinit Ryda I own a 2005 electra glide standard that's carbed. I have customized it to my liking but have not done any engine mods. I know that the engine will run flawlessly as long as I do the maintenance that harley recommend. I also have owned a 2005 deluxe with fuel injection, it was a great bike but as time went on I just found I would rather be on the glide. I would like to find a 1997 heritage springer but I am very picky when it comes to buying anything used. Eventually I will find the right one
