I have the tactical with the big soft case all black. Love it. I've owned and carried sig p320s, Glock 19x, canik tp9sfx with dot, an m17 bravo. And out of all of them I love shooting them. But I am a big dude and the fnx .45 tact so far has been the one pistol I can shoot more accurate and well controlled than any of my other pistols. Threw some talon grip tape on it and a holosun 507k. It has been fantastic.

That gun is among my wish list but my Glock 21 .45 I made the 13 round mags into 17 rounders by putting taran tactical +4 base plates on them but that would be a great gun to have.
I just received mine today, but it only came with 2 15 round mags. The sellers is contacting the wholesaler about the other mag, but I can't wait to go shoot this FNX. I will be buying some extra .45 ammo.
FYI for those interested; I've seen them for as low as $625, $680-700 is average. The past couple months the tactical has been under $900 with a mail rebate for a free Vortex Viper.
I have since sold it, every time I shot it my thumb would kick up the safety with the grip position that is natural for me. It shot nice but just not my cup of tea.
I'm about to have my lgs get me one for $650 + tax, so about $715 out the door. I dig the powdercoated slugs. FN is actually a Belgian company that has manufacturing plants here in the states. Sig, Berretta, and other European firearm manufacturers have factories here in the U.S. as well
Does your 45 have a rattle when shaken? And I'm not talking about the well-documented magazine rattle either. Mine appears to rattle where the ramp looking part located between the two front slide rails are. Thank you

Both pistols are good but if you can afford it buy the FN, or even both of them. John Wick should carry the FNX45. He wouldn't have to do so many doubletaps.

I use wheel weight lead but I have had it tested and after water quenching the bullets it's showing around 15-18 BHN which is plenty hard for +P+ rounds. Factory lead testing shows around 8-10 as far as my research has shown.

Hi I have a question for you, will that gun allow for you to load up a full 15 round mag into it with the slide closed, and then will it allow you to pull back on the slide without any difficulty to put one in the chamber? I ask this question because I have a xd mod2 45acp, and I have to load a full 13 round mag into it with the slide open then press down on the slide release button. I like to carry mine with the mag fully loaded but nothing in the chamber until I really need it there, and the xd mod2 will not allow me to pull back on the slide to chamber a round with a full 13 round mag in it. Thanks for your reply.

This one is far superior mostly due to its quality and the fact that the capacity is 15+1 which is amazing for a .45
If you want a firearm that you will fire rigorously and used to defend your life.. FNX 45. If you want a range toy.. Smith M&P.

Yes it does allow for a full mag to be inserted with the slide forward odd yours does this ?
