This prefab house also has several different options and can be built as a mod or hud home! The manufacturer for this house is Dutch Housing. The model for this home is the “Campbell” This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and has roughly 1,386 total square foot. Let me know what you think about the video! We have been in the mobile home business for years, and thought why not upload videos about something we can relate to and deal with every day.
We have seen the mobile home business come such a long way. In the old days most people referred to mobile homes as a trailer house. However some of the manufactured homes we carry are far from “trailer houses.”

Great home! If it was mine....no carpet! I love a nice area rug. Imo, the designers need to know, it makes the main living space look smaller being half floor/carpet.

Then get it made with no carpet it is just a show home to show people who might want carpet what they can do.

I like the master bedroom on the opposite side of the home. Love the kitchen especially the stove. Like that all the heater, water heater and electrical box are in the laundry room!!
But the price is more than a dang 5 bedroom built home. Fact.
I love it. Just the right size. Room for my kids to visit and stay a weekend. But not too big for me.
I think we can call this a large tiny home. Yep that's all some people need. Great for retired or singles. Thank you and God Bless you and your family.🙏🌹🌷🌷
This is almost 1,400 sq feet. That’s a regular size home in lots of places. Not a large tiny at all. Once you reach 500 Sq feet you are no longer considered a tiny home but a small home.
I love it all, I know it's not for everyone, but I could live in it😀

Except it is more $$$ than a 5 bedroom sould foundation home.
$ 24,000 !!! That's how much I paid in 1995 when I bought one of the first 16x80's. I cannot believe the price of mobile homes these days.
In 2008 we paid for a 16x82 only $32,400.00 we paid for it in full that day. It is mind boggling seeing the prices now.

I laugh when people complain about prices in the U.S. In Canada I bought a 1987 16 by 76ft home in 2011 and paid $110,000.00 for it. That's a pretty typical price up here. I loved that home!!
@@Jane-lf2fb Well it’s rough everywhere, do you get high taxes as well? What is the minimum wage there? I know nothing much about Canadas economic stuff. I know here in Louisiana we have a very high tax bracket, the price of land is outrageous. For those living on the lower income level. This is rough.

Good starter home
This one is a cutie. Take out the island and coffee bar. Move the refrigerator and extend the counter so there’s room for a sink. Then you could have a dining table. Everything else is pretty much spot on.
That is also a very good idea! Shift the stove, move the sink/ DW to the out side wall, add a window over the sink,put the refrigerator where the coffee bar is and maybe even tighten up the space for the furnace and water heater and you still might have room for the coffee bar and maybe a microwave.
Totally agree on rearranging kitchen layout to have dining space.

This is a nice efficient layout. I'm not crazy about the lack of a dedicated dining space, but I think the living room is big enough that, with some creative furniture arrangement, you could squeeze in a small 4-seater table. I really like the awning over the main entryway; it makes it look less like a mobile home.

I agree with you about the lack of even a breakfast area. But you know what………I would eat my meals in that closet! 😂
Like the home, some changes I would want:: dining room atea for table and chairs, no carpet thru out the home; would want wood flooring, the cabinet in the master bathroon behind the door would like cabinet doors to the shelves. Stainless kitchen appliances. Do not like the white wire closet shelvingin bedroom. Would like white wood shelves.

Lived in several mobile homes growing up and they have certainly come a long way. The one you were showing was very nice

Chance I love a double sink in the kitchen not the all in one. Those you have to put a plastic tub to hand wash dishes. Would have to put a tiny dining set behind the front door. Other than that one thing I love this little house.

I don't miss the dining space. This is a very nice little home. If I went for this I would order mine without the carpet but that's all I would change.

I think if a Couple is downsizing, maybe they are now empty nesters and need a second bedroom for an office, and a guest room for when the kids visit, it would be a GREAT home for that.

I love the creamy white interiors with the lighter brown counters. Love the size of this home! I do like the master bedroom on the other end for privacy! Like you always say you can add more stuff!
I rewound it to look back at the kitchen because I realized how different the kitchen was from most I've seen,I really like the sink in that island because so many of those kitchens you would walk yourself to exhaustion from one side of the room to the other from the sink to the stove or from the refrigerator to the sink,I think this is a great design and it looked like it had a little shower seat(gotta have that) wish I could put my mom and me in one of those.
I love the layout! I don’t know what genius thought it’d be a good idea to put the hallway as half carpet and half hardwood. Wow! For the most part it’s great.
Would to have this home in the mountains! Porch a great place to grill and eat on the porch!
Hi Chance! Hey, I've been missing "Bill" lately! Did you fire him? Cuz I REALLY like Bill...I like this hm for an empty nesters or a small fam. And yes, it could be a second hm on a lake or river. Sure do love seeing seeing your handsome face 3x's a week. You make this old lady's day!...❤
It is a nice house and would be great for a weekend / lake house. Can’t understand why the smaller window is by the front door. Not needed. Since this is a three bedroom home, three bar stools are not enough. Island has got to have room for at least two more. The off center toilet in the family bath would drive me nuts! Nothing wrong with the Master Bath but if it was my forever home I’d take a foot out of the closet and add it to my vanity or remove one of the sinks. I need more room on the counter top. Not everyone wants the bedrooms together but I like that they are all at one end of the house. Thanks Chance for all your work presenting these homes ( so that arm chair designers like me get to redesign them !)
$140,000????? This is a cheap-built trailer with the thin fiber-board interior walls with the ugly strips; at this price it should be all sheetrock with molding at the top. This trailer should be priced at $75,000 INCLUDING setup and delivery!

Move the front door to the living room side, slide the kitchen island to the left in the plan and create at least a small place for a breakfast table.
That is a great idea. Not everyone ( me) likes to eat at a breakfast bar.

There's room in the laundry room for a stand up freezer. Rare.
This is a house that I am definitely interested in!
They had some homes just like this in Houston right after Hurricane Katrina but they had attached storage.
I really like them as they were big enough for small family, retirees, disabled people, or young adults.

Posting the dimensions is helpful. Also, good to see a manufacturer putting all the bedrooms on the same side. I never thought of buying a manufactured home because I hate that the master was right off the living area.
I love this layout. My son has autism and I would rather have my room close to his. I love that the side door isn't right by the kids rooms. Really liked this one

You done good in Louisville, thank you. While this is a smaller home there is no place for a dining area. If a family of four lived here they would have to eat in shifts or two would need to stand up. I suppose you could place a dining table in a section of the living room but that severely make the living area very small. Thanks for all your efforts and work in preparing these videos. They and You are very much appreciated. I look forward to Thursday.
Very cute. Inside & out. Living room looks big enough to put a table & chairs in.
Nice basic D-wide. The kitchen is very dark though. But the cabinets on the left side of the kitchen could be lessened or reconfigured to make room for a small dining table & two large "L" corner windows. This would improve layout & light tremendously. (Maybe move the pantry cabinets to where the coffee bar is, to start.)

Love this home. Nice sized rooms and closets. Kitchen would be only thing I would change. Eliminate the island and rearrange the cabinets so the sink is on the wall. Then there is room for a dining table.

@@jimbritttn Relatively speaking it is moderately priced but you’re right it is a cheaply fabricated overpriced home. It is pretty though and so much nicer than a lot of families are living in right now.

@@jimbritttn I hear you and I’m proud of you. That’s good on you that you are able to work and purchase affordable housing for you and your family. I think it shows the polarity of the United States. We want 20,000 square feet homes or a tiny home of 260 square feet. Double bacon cheeseburger or a salad. All or nothing. I lost my train of thought and I don’t feel like edit deleting or you know.

I LOVE that master in the middle close to the "Kids". I have a runner he would totally try to get out that side door without me knowing! Master closet yes sir!! I'd put in shelving on that right side take up that whole right wall for folding clothes. I'm excited to see the storage cubbies in the master bath. Thats what makes it or breaks it cause theres really not much space in there.- Downfalls though.. Those other closets theres not much space. I'd prefer just to have one single sink in that guest bath that way I could put a linen closet in there. And come on lets get a actual dining space instead of just island seating! I dont know WHY these manufacturers have decided to drop the dining space all together but I've seen more homes without than with over the past few years. OH MY GOODNESS I JUST DIED AT THE PRICE!!!!!! Nope I'd run away very quickly.

This is the first mobile home that you came in from the front and had a porch that I didn’t care for. I can’t believe it it’s just the way it’s just my preference I don’t like the carpet there’s no place for dining room. Just those kind of things but I watch every video you come out with.
It seems like the space in the guest bath could have been better used by giving some more room to the kitchen… shift everything down a little bit and make room for a dining room space. Love the entry on the end! I’d love to see more models with that orientation. Personally, our property needs it and they’ve been hard to find.

I despise double sinks. It's a waste of counter space. I had ONE very large, deep sink with a sprayer installed in our master bath. I believe it's 22" wide and 9 inches deep. We can bathe a toddler or our small dog in it. The sprayer ended all of the arguments about his whiskers and my toothpaste residue. Very easy cleanup. This gave us each three feet of clear countertop and tons of drawer space. Because we installed a large sink, we have one large sink base cabinet that fits all of our bathroom cleaning supplies, extra TP, my curling iron, the hair dryer, and some other necessities in one spot. We installed two pull out racks under there for organized storage.
I'll never go back to the double sink trap again. We have so much more storage this way and more working counter space for each of us.
Cute house. But it would be great if the floor plan can be put up at the beginning before you start the tour. Like you used to.
