The last part starting at 16:00 is golden. I traveled to Colombia 🇨🇴 on vacation 2yrs ago and I couldn’t describe it but I knew I had to move there. I’m finally going to be able to move in January. What took me so long is I had to find a completely remote job. I had to endure a level of patience and perseverance unlike anything I had ever experienced in my entire life. I was also constantly thinking about the when. I finally had to live in the present while working on my goal but not think about the when.

I feel you bro… I worked for 7 trucking companies in less than a year before I started my own. I drove for free because I loved what I was doing, but I knew there was a better option for me as a combat veteran and college graduate. However, a million dollars didn’t save my marriage nor my home. I salute you on your accomplishments and your dedication to the success of your channel. I got the cigars and rum on deck whenever you’re ready to come out for a little r&r…. Til then, it’s peace./G\✌️
Don't Quit Edgar Albert Guest When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, when the road you're trudging seems all uphill, when the funds are low and the debts are high, and you want to smile but you have to sigh, when care is pressing you down a bit - rest if you must, but don't you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns. As everyone of us sometimes learns. And many a fellow turns about when he might have won had he stuck it out. Don't give up though the pace seems slow - you may succeed with another blow. Often the goal is nearer than it seems to a faint and faltering man; Often the struggler has given up when he might have captured the victor's cup; and he learned too late when the night came down, how close he was to the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out - the silver tint of the clouds of doubt, and when you never can tell how close you are, it may be near when it seems afar; So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit - it's when things seem worst, you must not quit.
After listening to your story I have to admire your determination to fight back and work hard . Also your family unit is strong ....... Congratulations on making through the dark years ....... all the best for the future bro .....
Having a partner like Norberis should NEVER be taken for granted! Most westernized women today, especially age 35 & younger, wouldn't do a third of what she did to help themselves get back on their feet. They would put 90% of the responsibility on the man. AND making plans at the same time to "upgrade" their partner situation. FACTS !!!
I keep telling you, man, the more you talk, the more sense you make; I just can't figure out how you do it. Awesome video and an invaluable piece of advice to those who throw in the towel after getting the first punch in the face . It would've been an even better video if you had used the word GOD instead of the universe; but that's ok, I'll let it go for now, but don't get used to it 😅 I'm a Christian, and proud to say it boldly.😊

@@JayAbroad WHERE ARE THE DOMINICANA'S LIKE MS. NORBERIS who is so business minded and got that entrepreneurial winning spirit? AMEN-ASE!
@@AphrooneRichardson they are rare nowadays. Back in the day Dominicans from the states would go to the country side (El Cibao) of the island to find themselves wives, but that no longer exist. Dominican culture / women have been heavily influenced by social media and the states. You need to look at the family and go from there.
Yes, thank you for sharing this. Thinking about the "when" only keeps you frustrated. Just work and it will happen when you least expect it. Congratulations on you upcoming move to Colombia.
So glad you did what you had to do to get out that situation keep that mentality. Such ❤an inspiration you guys are
This is a great video...I have been there and worked and worked and worked...I have not stopped yet. It is the struggle that makes you successful.

Damn . thank you for sharing. Man..i know what its like to go through it and you do what you have to do. As for those who own restaurants i have the utmost respect for. Its so much more than cooking and serving food but juggling so many different relationships and dealing with customers and the internal employees and issues. Thank you again brother 🙏🏽
You're right about that. Owning a restaurant is so much more than cooking for sure...
Thank you for sharing your ups and downs.
My pleasure!
Strong connection you and your wife, shot out, that's some tough times, but it paid off in the end, true life warriors! Congrats!

You are so welcome💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Wow, that's a story and a motivation story. Man, these are the stories people needed. People think people were born with a silver spoon. Man, this is a great story.
Thanks for listening brother. I almost didn't record it😅. But I said nah people need to hear it.
Much respect on being a hardworking man for your family, you don't see that today. keep moving forward excel in everything you do.
I appreciate that brother.
I think your family's story shows that you all love each other dearly and that's beautiful.
I don't know your education situation, but this is why education matters! There is no place that I can't use my science degree. I get calls from around the country, even Hawaii.
I am very happy for you and your family. I wish you good health, well being and prosperity.
Thank you. I appreciate you sharing your feedback.
Jay, God bless you and your family. Ya'll survived and now you thrive. Continue success, my brother.

Thank you so much! It's appreciated.
you've got a real keeper in your wife, most partners these days would bail if they ever found themselves in the situation you two went through.
💪💪💪
I appreciate you sharing this story. It lets us all know that you can always make it if you don’t give up.
I love your story but even more the strength of your relationship with your wife to persevere and overcome loosing everything not many could overcome that. Love your content keep it coming.
Yes, thank you for listening 🙏🏾
Wow bro this is uplifting!
Thanks for listening, I appreciate it.
Love it Jay! Very uplifting and inspirational!! 🙏
You're welcomed. Glad you enjoyed it!
I feel you bro… I worked for 7 trucking companies in less than a year before I started my own. I drove for free because I loved what I was doing, but I knew there was a better option for me as a combat veteran and college graduate. I tapped into my gift with being able to articulate and navigate the corporate world and the world of a truck driver. With this I made millions…. However, a million dollars didn’t save my marriage nor my home. I salute you on your accomplishments and your dedication to the success of your channel. I got the cigars and rum on deck whenever you’re ready to come out for a little r&r…. Til then, it’s peace./G\✌️
We all have a story, bro. And it all comes down to if one has the character and perseverance to overcome the setbacks. Thanks for sharing yours.
Thanks for sharing bro! Yup, I have been down that road before. You have to keep picking yourself up. Very interesting story. 👊🏽
Yessiiirr no doubt 💪🏾
Thank you for sharing your testimony. 🙏💯
You are welcome, bro!
You both were partners in the ways that count, through the good and bad times ❤

Don't Quit
Edgar Albert Guest
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
when the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
when the funds are low and the debts are high,
and you want to smile but you have to sigh,
when care is pressing you down a bit - rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns.
As everyone of us sometimes learns.
And many a fellow turns about when he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow - you may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than it seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up when he might have captured the victor's cup;
and he learned too late when the night came down,
how close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out - the silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
and when you never can tell how close you are,
it may be near when it seems afar;
So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit - it's when things seem worst, you must not quit.
💯🙏
Thank you for being honest . Always wishing you peace and prosperity.
You're welcome 🙏🏾
Wow! Your story was so inspirational.....For real!....just subscribed!😊

Good story and facts brotha man. I grew up most of my childhood in Tuskegee and Tallassee. How are you liking it so far?
Brother, I love it over here. It's hard to put into words you just have to experience it.
Never give up!
Never....💪🏾
This video just randomly popped up and I am glad it did. Great story, thanks for sharing
I guess the algorithm is working in my favor...lol! Thanks bro, I appreciate it. And thanks for listening.
You do your best but i foot in front another all you’re star 🌟 will align 🙏
After listening to your story I have to admire your determination to fight back and work hard .
Also your family unit is strong .......
Congratulations on making through the dark years ....... all the best for the future bro .....
Thank you so much!🙏🏾
Having a partner like Norberis should NEVER be taken for granted! Most westernized women today, especially age 35 & younger, wouldn't do a third of what she did to help themselves get back on their feet. They would put 90% of the responsibility on the man. AND making plans at the same time to "upgrade" their partner situation. FACTS !!!
Facts
I appreciate it bro. She definitely was in the mud with me. Thanks.
Facts
. . . it's shameful!
Everyone hits a low point in life. When we're at our lowest point, we are open to a higher change 💯
🙌🏾💯
I keep telling you, man, the more you talk, the more sense you make; I just can't figure out how you do it. Awesome video and an invaluable piece of advice to those who throw in the towel after getting the first punch in the face . It would've been an even better video if you had used the word GOD instead of the universe; but that's ok, I'll let it go for now, but don't get used to it 😅 I'm a Christian, and proud to say it boldly.😊
You meant “Jesus”. Every religion has a GOD. If make a comment, jokingly or not, write the correct information you are trying to convey. This is not a religion channel, and he doesn’t need to cater to one denomination.
@@elegal184You should speak for yourself, sir; how do you know what Jay needs or doesn't need? Let the man say it; on the other hand, I was in no way trying to convey my religious beliefs onto others; it was just an innocent comment, relax!
UNIVERSE BLESS! 🫡 🙏🏽 ✨
Amen, to that!
@@luisabramson4957I don’t think so. Now it’s innocent since you got checked. 🤦🏾♂️. Fake apostle
In some ways I can relate. Nuff respect my brother for sharing such an experience. But most important not giving up a pushimg through. Blessings to you and family.
