I have the greenworks version and you are right the weight is cumbersome. It's bottom heavy and not balanced. the motor at the shovel end is the culprit but there aren't many places you can move the motor too. What they could do is add a grab handle on the shovel end as i tend to grab the base of the shaft to pick up and carry away. When I shovel i rarely lift it up and drag it around when I need to move. I only lift it when I want to skim the top of the snow.
Thanks for the comment. An additional grab handle lower down would probably be a good idea, as like you I tend to grab lower down when trying to pick it up. And you're right in that there really isn't anything they can do short of redesigning the motor with the goal of reducing weight, if that's possible. Cheers!
Trust me, I waited and waited. I had been holding onto this for over a month but snow wasn't coming so I used whatever Mother Nature gave me. I will tell you that I've had this for 2 winters and I have used it to clear as much as 2 feet of snow. It's capable so long as you don't ask too much of it at once.
I have one and it works great! Goes through 4-6 inches easy and throws it 25 ft. In the air. Enough to clear it from the path in front of you. I purchased a shoulder strap on the side for easier carrying. Yes the handle is a pain. There are others out there with a directional option, but they may not be as powerful. But this one still works well enough. You do need to go sideways sometimes. I will say it is powerful enough to throw wet snow and throw snow 10-12 inches 20 ft. Plus in the air. So far I love it. Easily can clear a driveway and sidewalks. I would recommend you buy an adjustable carrying strap so it is easier to move around with. I am a 5 ft. 2 inch 63 year old woman and I can handle it just fine. 😊
@@ilikecontent2327 Thanks for sharing your thoughts. They never sent a strap when it was given to me for review - but I can definitely see how it could be helpful.
I'm afraid I can't answer your questions, but I would look up Toro Motor Company online and see what availability exists in India or elsewhere. Good luck.
Bought one , very heavy for its purpose. If you dont have a bad back you will after using this, since you have to constantly crouch to use it... needs a handle somewhere behind the motor.. regret buying it...
I did get to keep it. And I also got to say exactly what I thought of it, which is not what I would have been able to do had I also been paid. You'll note that my review highlights both good and bad aspects.
Actually...you're right! I had one in the garage but it wasn't in the package. Darn, I forgot about that and I would have noted it in the video had I remembered.

Please do a review with snow on the ground.

Iam from India from where can I get it aa nd what is the cost of this product

cool
Well...cold actually. Frozen even...but thanks! 😉
Toro, some of us women have to clear our own snow. How about asking a few women to review this product instead of only big burly men. I’ll volunteer.
I support your suggestion, although I don't think I've ever been called a big burly man before...

If you watched my video, you'll note that it's weight is my biggest complaint as well.
Excellent, honest review and you're not a friggin' robot voice. Thank you!
Thanks! Those robot voices on Instagram are driving me nuts as well...
I like it 👍🏼
This would be a great alternative to lugging out my big Cub Cadet snowblower for a light snow event .
Snow blowers can be a bit excessive depending on how much snow falls. This does provide an alternative, I agree.
I would like to volunteer my driveway to see how well it works :)
How very noble of you. (Get in line). :)
I have a kolbalt 40 volt snow shovel same thing but less voltage
Sadly the snow direction can't be changed by throwing it to the left or right. My Earthwise does this and is much better then Toro.
He didn't get payed to do the commercial, BUT he got a free power shovel.

They also dont include the Alan key in the box... very annoying

That thing is easy to use. Lol
