Well I got myself the cordless Toro snow shovel this year and really like it. It is battery operated and clears the snow good enough for me and the battery lasts long enough for me to get all the areas cleared. I did not want units with power cords that I would have to drag around all the time, even though they maybe somewhat stronger in the amount of snow they clear.
Thanks for the video.
Love my Greenworks snow shovel!
Actually pretty impressive.
The best ber for snow is a big blow torch in deep snow like conditions used for
You high ?
@@RT-tn4ry you don't use big blow torches for snow like conditions? They're the best ber!
I have a kobalt battery operated 40v snow shovel. It’s heavy, that’s for sure . On a full charge, in powdered snow, I’ll get about 15 minute run time. Then it starts shutting off after it hits the snow.
I notice the Earthwise SN74016 makes you lean over to use it. I doubt that guy is over 6 ft so for all the tall people most of these are going to make your back hurt.
nice comparisons, helped me to decide, which one i need to buy
seems odd to me that your video clearly says model # SN74016 "cordless" snow shovel, but your link takes you to model # SN70016 Corded model and I can't seem to find the cordless SN74016 anywhere so guessing it was discontinued?
I just ordered a new 74016 From Walmart for $159 plus $22 for a 3 year warranty
How many times can we say "More over" and "what's more"?
... Yes
First tip for buying a powered snow shovel should be: DO NOT BUY A CORDED UNIT!!!
Imagine how miserable it would be dealing with a stiff froze extension cord in the wind, cold and snow.
You can buy power cords that are rated for very EXTREME low temperatures. You can also purchase such cable in bulk and make your own extension cord keeping in mind that it is also bought in the proper AWG for the application. Why so many people don't know these things is beyond me, as evidenced by the upvotes to your comment!!!
Yes and having to worry about whether or not you're gonna catch it in your snowblower. I have a Snow Joe Snow shovel. But, it has a battery & it works great. So much better than snow shoveling, seriously. it was actually so much fun I think I was smiling the first few times I was shoveling the snow out there lol... And even though the novelty has kind of worn off it is still kind of fun.
Thank God we live down south that we don't need that crap, and our vehicles are rust free.
Aren't you special! 😊 You also have LOTS of insects we don't have to deal with. Give me snow any day. ❄️⛄️☃️🌨🎿
My 12 year grandson who's broke is the very best. snow removal..
Not only that, it encourages them to stay in school, knowing what they could be facing for a job as an adult. Not that there is anything wrong with physical labor----it just isn't my preference when you get old.
Спасибо дружище
I need a kobalt. I have 3 batteries and 2 chargers. Drill, ratchet, leaf blower, weed trimmer, and tire inflater. Not going to keep buying chargers and batteries.
Wonderful snow shovel that cannot be charged during a power loss in a winter storm
Get a generator
My snow Joe came with a 24 V battery so they do come with batteries. And it's a little 10 inch or 13 and shovel I can't remember the dimensions... But it works great! And it's actually fun to shovel!........ At least that's coming from someone that has shoveled my whole driveway & all my all my sidewalks my whole life with an actual shovel. I've never had a snowblower before or a snow plow so this was great when I saw that at Sam's Club for 99 bucks :)
Quite surprised no mention of EGO Multi Head Snow Shovel Kit(Power head + snow shovel attachment, 2P 4Ah battery, 320W charger)
Ego multi head shovel
They didn't pay the sponsorship fee.
A month after this review, EGO released their Multi-Head Snow Shovel, which "blows" all of these away.
I was wondering why there was no mention of EGO. I have the single stage snowblower but wouldn't mind a snow shovel for lighter snow.
@@stevemellinger3776 grabbed a black friday deal from ace hardware $299 for head tool 4ah bat and charger
@@stevemellinger3776 Toro is another one that should be on the list that is top of the line
@@tranquilmind8487 Agreed, I'm just an Ego maniac.
@Ray Johnson I'm looking into that. I need a blower which I think I'm getting for my bday. Definitely the multi head tool after that.
Only when there is no wind. Otherwise, the snow may blow back towards your face.
those only works with very small amount of snow ...
A human being speaking! Thank you!
Why use power tools to shovel snow , want to go green use your hands, back , and those mussels holding up your skin
Cover your driveway with a big tarp
These all seem to have one drawback...the snow always goes vertically in front of you. It just blows the snow back on the path you just cleared. Just add a vent that directs the snow slightly sideways!
you can just push it forward, but direct the snow throwing path diagonally... if that makes sense? So you're still walking straight but you kind of angle of the snow throwing path diagonally a little bit if that makes sense sorry I hope I'm describing that correctly.
Check out EGO Multi-Head snow shovel
Best for lite dry snow! Not powerful enough for wet snow and for snow that is deep 12+”.😂 Not for snow country like Buffalo, NY!😮
not dragging a cord around in the snow
Nice For 300.00Dollars👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Looks back breaking. If they don't throw to the side they're not worth it.
Try it in wet snow.. don't work like that.
#1 sure looks like the guy is leaning a lot. Not good on your back, or keeping your balance if it is slick under the snow.
why not just use a snow shovel, no cord, no having to find the outlet to plug that long extension cord in, and don't wait until the snow is 24 inched deep. It's great exercise too!
Yes, unless you have any health or handicap problems :(
I assume you dont get much snow where you live buddy!
@@jimgerlv1
True, many people die this way each year!
Work smarter not harder... If there's a tool that makes chores easier I'm sure as shit going to do that. Especially since I'm legally required to clear my sidewalks.
Because some of us are 100 pound women. Shut it, Johnny!
Или нет, это обзор проплачен производителем аккумуляторов)))
Don't worry.. I'm not buying an electic snowshovel
Только явно проплаченный гринворксом обзорчик))
SnowJoe can't handle wet snow.
Noted
Get a dump of 13 inches and ALL bets are off.
Reason you have the bigger snow blower for that 🤷 these are for when you don't get much and not enough to really bring out a big 2 stage blower.
@@wildman24jg Buying two snowblowers ? hey if you have money to burn , that's great.
@@RT-tn4ry two you buy one 2 stage and then this one🤷 both different uses. Who wants to bring out a two-stage snowblower out for 2 in of snow that's for deep snow. These are inexpensive for the most part to be honest and work great I bought me one and my dad one so he can save his back as well we love them.
Toro 60 v power shovel is the best!!
Agree. Funny it's not on the list. Must be a manufacturer made video
I have a Toro that has to be 50 yrs or more old, my Mom bought it. It's corded and can be a pain but it gets the small jobs done on patio etc. Shoots the snow nicely if not too high. The only issue I have had is with the cord, had to fix twice since I had it. I would say it's a well built machine. Wish it could direct the snow etc. Only forward.
