You produce the best watch content on YT. I can't stand the Rolex clickbait videos anymore and your channel offers the best quality videos on every aspect of watchmaking. You visit the coolest brands' headquarters and factories and showed us how the watches are actually made, you present watches from every price point from $50 to 5M, you make the best fun watch shopping videos, the best comparison videos, you provide all the useful info on watches, you were the guy that teached the watch community to not judge the wearability of a watch just based on the case size and how that lug to lug measurement was a much more important thing to consider for that matter. I respect you for all the hard work you've done for the watch community, you're the guy that's really making the watch world a better place. Thank you Teddy, thank you a thousand times, you're a real one. ✌🏼
Teddy is superb. I would also highly recommend the Mad Watch Collector. His style is very different, and highly entertaining, but he's very well informed and also never stoops to clickbait. He's also certifiably insane, which is nice.
Totally agree. Watchfinder is another great channel but has recently become, as you say, Rolex clickbait. Teddy has been steady and loyal to good quality honest content and I'm sure it's deservedly paying off!
@@aemdxb then there’s people like Kevin O’Leary and way worse Producer Michael who know not much and less than nothing but the former speaks as if he does.
What a great video. The Bel Canto and Longines are incredible at those prices. I really appreciate how you back some brands out of love for well executed, finished and constructed watches rather than any financial gain.
Teddy, your videos are very informative. I have been going through several of the RUclips watch channels and unfortunately, there are many in the community who thrive on toxicity. Keep doing what you do and avoid that other nonsense.
Love your channel Teddy and so glad to see you cover CW and the Bel Canto. I ordered one of the new releases in Cielo blue with bracelet and it will be a long wait until it's arrival in November but I'm sure it will be worth it. Would like to see you review the Aquitaine sometime as well. Keep up the great work!
Loved learning about these unusual watches recently. Anything that tells the time slightly differently and still manages to look slick gets my nod of respect. Some great suggestions here Teddy, couple I've never heard of. Thanks for sharing the knowledge as always 👍 Teddy the GOAT
The reservoir watch really caught my attention.. I am not a car guy by any means but the novelty and originality is really grabbing my attention here. I think this is going to be part of my collection eventually. Thanks Teddy for bringing all these cool videos that showcase all these cool watches.
Ive Only Had 2 Watches In My Life. When I Was Like 5 or 6 My Mom Bought Me A Cheap Timex, Lost It Some How Wearing It. Must Of Broke And Fell Of My Wrist Without Me Noticing. 2nd Watch I Was Like 14 or So Had A Cheap $5-$10 Indigo, Got Surrounded By A Group Of Guys In A Alley Way And They Stole It. Havent Owned A Watch Since. Out Of All The Watches I Seen On This Channel Has To Be The Oris Roberto Clemente. Great Content God Bless.
The Longines Calendar Chronograph is another one of those watches that I did not like from photos or videos but in the flesh it's simply must be one of the best value watches with these complications for the cash from a Swiss brand. In the flesh it really is food for the brain. Although it's far from being the best at a glance watch for reading the time some thought has gone into the readability. The time telling hands are leaf shape while the chronograph hands are sticks. Day, pointer date, month, 24 hour scale (AM/PM) dial and moon phase are all present. The textured dial and heat blued hands are the icing on the cake. I love it. A column wheel movement can be seen through the display case back showing a modified and decorated Valjoux 7750 is also a bonus at this price. One minor gripe would be that it's not that easy to wind with the small crown on the 40mm version.
I absolutely love Christopher Ward. I have a C60 trident pro that gets worn daily, and has never missed a beat while looking great and being comfortable on the wrist. I've just ordered a C63 Sealander Bronze. I can't wait to get it!
I bought the 42mm with the blue dial and the bracelet three months ago slightly used for 2600€ (an absolute steal imo). It's my first luxury watch and I love it (can't stop looking at it ^^). Runs at +-5 seconds a day for me and gets me compliments from time to time.
Love the Cricket! I totally appreciate the mechanical alarm complication. I recently refurbished my dad’s Seiko BellMatic (circa 1975). I use the alarm whenever I wear it. My kids think it’s magical!
I'll throw another watch into this discussion, although it's not quite in line with the lesser known brands you put in this video. Among the heavy hitter manufacturers, I would argue one of the best values for money is the JLC Master Grand Reveil. Made from 2005 to 2012 (I think), it combines a mechanical alarm (with ring AND vibrate functions), a perpetual calendar, and a moonphase of N and S hemispheres, all for roughly $15k at current pre-owned prices. The fact that it's offered in steel helps with the price (there's a LE platinum version as well), but all in all I was hard pressed to find anything more horologically impressive than this for the price, so I'm the very proud owner of one!
When it comes to Regulators Hamilton makes a decent Jazz master regulator for around $1,200. Also the Bell Canto is an amazing watch, shown by the fact that there's a one year long waiting list for it.
Love your channel and look forward to new content every week. I have both the JLC Memovox and Bel Canto coming to me. I’ll let you know how I like them but feel that the Bel Canto is hard to beat for the price. Very unique.
Teddy you make one of the most educational video here on RUclips. I already have put in an order for the Bel Canto as I was offered on of the limited editions.
Fantastic vlog Teddy...very enjoyable. The Reservoir jump-hour is very desirable indeed! Also love the Bel Canto hourly chime...holy cow, super affordable!
I bought a vintage Tudor Advisor (alarm complication) from 1958. It didn't run right, so I brought it to the local watchmaker. He gushed all over it and talked about what a special watch it was. Since then, I've gotten great service because they know I'm serious about horology. I wouldn't trade my Advisor for anything.
I love this video. I like to collect unusual complications as well and own quite a few of the ones you stated. Trilobe is one that's been on my radar but I haven't really been willing to sink that kind of money on it yet. For Alarm, my choice of watch was towards the vintage side with the Seiko Bellmatic. There is one by Citizen actually that is louder and still great looking as well from the 70s. For Jump Hour and Regulator I got the Universal Geneve 825.125 Jump Hour. It also features a regulator dial with jump hour at top and minute hands and seconds hands on their own. The C1 Bel Canto, I couldn't resist, so I'm looking to receive mine as well :) The rest, I haven't gotten to, but neat all the same!
I own the Longines MCMP and it is an astonishing watch for the price. I would not mind owning one of these Christopher Ward "Bel Canto" watches, they look superb. Thank you for the great content as always.
Was very interested in the Longines in blue. It all looked great. Except that in person, there is so much glare on the sapphire that it’s impossible to see the dial. The white dial is much better at the moment. I’m looking more at the spirit fly back.
I jumped in fast to order the Christopher Ward, blue, Bel Canto. I received it about 3 weeks ago. Since then it has not left my wrist! The world of micro brands is fascinating.
Been in and out of the AD looking at Trilobe and they are unreal to watch move. When the sales woman showed me how to change the time both me and my wife were like WOW out loud and in synch haha.
Love the Trilobe and bel Canto design, but the Trilobe price is a bit high. The longine master dial is also a bit too busy, but I love the guilloche, the JLC one u previewed is amazing.
As someone who loves muscle cars, this reservoir watch will have to make it into my collection! I really want that Chris Ward watch as well. If I could easily afford a Rolex maybe my answer would be different, but these types of watches I find so much more interesting and desirable.
Teddy, thanks for the video! What do you think of the tourbillon complication and is that attainable? Seeing a lot of Chinese tourbillon movements lately, is anyone else undercutting the Swiss in bringing cheaper tourbillons to market?
Hey Teddy, any chance you have heard the CW Sonniere chime? I went to their web site and that information didn’t seem to available. That is a great looking watch, especially the light blue dial on a SS band.
Informative and entertaining as always. Beautiful video/photography. I see you posted that you have a position open. How much do I have to pay you to work with all these watches?
Love the Vulcain for it's heritage but it is still possible to buy mechanical alarms with Poljot movements from a seller in Germany. The movements are no longer manufactured so maybe the last opportunity to buy such such a watch for a very affordable price (around $450).
I recently said to a friend that your channel is successful while not having annoying clickbait titles. And while title is certainly not as bad as they come, I prefer titles in your usual style.
Now, this is a bit more expensive but Ochs Und Junior does a Sunrise/Sunset which actually changes throughout the year as the nights draw in and out. I know krayon also does this complication but the Krayon watch is 100k where as the Ochs Und Junior is 16k. Still a chunk of change but a very interesting complication non the less

What a great video. The Bel Canto and Longines are incredible at those prices. I really appreciate how you back some brands out of love for well executed, finished and constructed watches rather than any financial gain.
The Bel Canto is, and I genuinely mean this, an absolute masterpiece.
I just wish it rung multiple times per hour. It would have added complexity but been more useful.
Impressive knowledge as ever. I like the Trilobe. Unique and legible

The Longines is on my list for sure!

Best value is probably the hourly chime, followed by the longines chrono. That seconds on a disk is so cool!
Love the Cricket! I totally appreciate the mechanical alarm complication. I recently refurbished my dad’s Seiko BellMatic (circa 1975). I use the alarm whenever I wear it. My kids think it’s magical!
The longines master calander chrono is my favorite multi complication watch

The reservoir is unique and niche focused. I like car-esque watches, ie race and classic. Thanks for showing this brand.

I have a Vario jump hour Popeye, and a Poljot alarm. Both pretty cool watches.
Love that Alpina....

Suhweet, for practicality to me Longines
I think the Vulcain is probably the most practical of the bunch. Not sure I want or even need one, at least it's a real-world functional complication.
That Longines is almost an exact copy of the Speedmaster triple date.
Hey Mr.Baldassarre
I always watch your videos, could you review the cheapest Grand Seiko sbgx261?
I’m sorry, did you show the price of the Bel Canto?
The Longines provides the most useful complications.

Bel Canto is amazing. Teddy, if you want to get one in the metal to review, let me know and we can arrange to get mine to you to check out!
What you all think about the hamilton 2 face new watch limited edition
The best complication is the chronometer on the Rolex Daytona Quartz version - bought it just for 200 dollars
