You are a really lovely person and as someone recovering from an eating disorder your positive attitude towards food and life in general have inspired me. You always cheer me up and I wish I had a friend like you. Thank you for sharing your life with us, you are a real treasure :)
I watch both yours and graces videos all the time and have been thinking to myself lately about how many similarities i see between you both in terms of what you enjoy to do with your days and the foods you both enjoy. Its so good to see that you watch Graces videos too!🥲💛 also can i just say, you are glowing Ro! X
I get so upset with people who treat waitresses like they’re invisible, or worse, like they can just yell at them! One time, at subway, there was this guy yelling at the girl making his sandwich, because they were all out of white bread. He was so nasty, he made her cry, And I finally started yelling at him, “this poor girl makes minimum wage, works really hard, and you’re abusing her. She has zero say about what bread they get sent.” If you want to complain, or just want something for free. Complain to corporate! At least they get paid enough to listen to your bulls**t!
Rainy night coffee shop by music ambience on Spotify is literally perfect for you. Gives you the coffee shop vibes without having to even leave the house
Back in the day (ya I'm old!), you needed a co-pilot in your passenger seat to open and read a paper map if you didn't know where you were going. Or you had to pull over and fight with the flimsy paper yourself! Don't get me started on trying to fold it up again... PS - You need your own pottery cafe - Knick-Knacks at Grack's!
Exactly! We yelled at each other and got lost. And you'd always get overconfident writing down directions when driving alone. I'd be there trying to figure out what on earth past me meant by "L on Fng Ave, R on AB, STR on B" and end up having to pull over.
@@genevieve6983 Bwa ha ha so accurate! Or you’d stop at a gas station to ask directions, pretend to understand, then get back into your car even more confused!
@@Grackle Can you recommend a decent place for Cheesecake? Expecting a bun in my oven but the cravings are scaring my husband. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi Grace, my daughter and I are visiting London in February, we are so excited! Thank you for always providing wonderful feedback for your beautiful city, can't wait to try some of these. We are secretly hoping we happen to bump into you while we are there... that would be freaking amazing, we've been following you for years! Thank you for always brightening our day with your beautiful positivity! :)
I love all these videos because I just moved to London on my own and dont really know people. you give my the confidence to go out and try cool places alone
LOVED this (espc the bits w/your Dad & Banksy). The bowl that you painted was gorgeous. You do know that they have 'cafe vibe' atmospheres on RUclips right? I put them on in the background and read or do art or clean the house to them, soooooo relaxing. They have soft jazz, Parisien cafes, Asian, piano, etc. to chose from.
You should consider opening a place of your own (Grack's!) to compensate for the loss of the pottery café. You tick all the boxes that matter most: good at baking, good at fixing drinks, good at conversation, creative, close to London so you won't struggle for footfall...
I wish we were friends! I love grocery stores, walks in nature, and chillin in cafes! I go out by myself, travel alone, go see movies and go try new eats by myself which is fine, but, I need a buddy.
I am 40 and when I used to go different places, mostly long trips I would go online and print out directions. It was a pain but it got me from point A to point B!
back in the day for me, it was print off mapquest directions. :) Before that, I have vivid memories of some very loud and frustrated family trips as there was always an argument about if the paper map was being read properly by my mom, as my dad drove!
Based on what you’ve said, I think you may have had a Finch House café/restaurant not too far from you. It closed down a few years ago, but it was all white, clean, really quiet and peaceful, with delicious food ( soups, salads and desserts) plus gluten-free bread!
I’ve seen you’ve got a garden pool, I wish I had one! Can you do a video on arts and crafts in your pool or maybe waterproof activities? Another idea which is kind of artsy is making your own boat and seeing if it floats with bits and bobs around your house (empty plastic bottle) :)
I'd love to see a gluten free bakery review video. I've heard that London has lots of gluten free places and I'd love to see which one you think tastes the best.
You really have to start a podcast, hearing your voice just makes me feel less anxious. Today I played random videos while cleaning shopping taking a shower, most of the time I didn't really hear what you were saying, but just having Grace background noise has done amazing things for me.
I love almond croissants also and it is hard to find ones that have a decent amount of filling in them. Hoping to go to London in the next couple of years. Will have to remember to go to that bakery.
The travelling without gps maps omg I am a country bumpkin and recently travelling around my state here in Australia. I’d for sure be lost and probably dead without gps navigation! How do you know where to turn otherwise? It would be fine if in the old days with paper maps you had someone sitting next to you telling you, but solo trips would be hella hard
I went to the Pottery Cafe and made a Pasta Bowl two weeks ago, it’s not just for kids, it's fun. Think I went to their other branch tho, yours looked great. Tried to find which branch was closing online, neither I think, are you sure they're closing? It'll be so sad if they do.
I passed my driving test in the days of AA route mapper. Try reading written directions while driving on the motorway in the dark… sounds safe, right?!
Hi Gracie. Before Google maps (which I still don't have) we had and have A to Z books. Daren't go anywhere without one.! At least as good as Google maps.
What about a video on small food businesses, trying their food. I’ve seen plenty of people during covid start their own baking businesses. I ordered from one and I’m sure they plus others would be helped by you doing a video on them? I’ve seen you try places that have already blown up and are popular so just thought it would be a nice idea to try and help smaller businesses. I can recommend one if you like this idea and I’m sure others could too 😁
Grace you should go to a lovely tea room called Lord Roberts on the Green in Carshalton/Coulsdon and Cyco in Coulsdon. Also go to the cafe at the beautiful lavender fields in Carshalton

Your dad being so happy with his croissant is why I love your channel. You have such a lovely family and life❤️
Papa booth is so wholesome. He always make me smile.
Pappa Booth eating his almond croissant ❤️✌️"everywhere you go is almonds" hilarious 🤣😂
I worked in a cafe and literally got people moaning at me about the food options AS IF ME, A BARISTA, MADE THE MENU 🥲

So many cute places. The stuff from Anya cafe is so cute!!
On a cafe tour of London you walked past a cabman's shelter at 7:49 - one of only about a dozen left in London. You could've bought a cup of tea!
Felt the same way about the cakes on Peggy Porsches tbh, had the red velvet and it was kinda mid. Coffee was good tho, and the decor is so cute
