  • Take a look at the Giselle Bed Frame on Amazon: amzn.to/2TQ4z0w
    Here you can watch me assemble the Giselle Iron Metal Bed. This is a bed frame that you can order on Amazon. The full name is the "Tribecca Home Giselle Antique Dark Bronze Graceful Lines Victorian Iron Metal Bed." (Phew! That's a mouthful!)
    The frame in this video is a queen size, but other sizes are available. It took me about 1 hour and 45 minutes to build (assemble) this bed frame. Although this is a budget bed that was purchased on Amazon, it's fairly sturdy and I think you will like it. I have not detected any squeaking.

    Having some trouble attaching the headboard! The four screws you’re instructed to use “I” seem long and don’t work well with the bolt/washer. Did you face this issue? Any tips?

    Did it feel very sturdy the frame all together once you got it all together? Like a solid one piece unit?

      I would rate is as 7 out of 10 on the sturdiness scale. Not as tough as a hand-made Amish bed frame, but not a wimpy little thing either. Hope that helps!

    How is it holding up now after a year ? Any bending on the supports ?

    • @dugroz
      @dugroz  3 года назад

      It's doing great! Supports are fine. One time, my wife decided to redecorate and drug the bed frame around without lifting it, and leaving the 100 lbs. of mattress and box spring on it (sigh...) which did cause 2 of the small underneath support legs to bend. (I was able to bend them back). So, all you have to do is lift one end before repositioning the bed and it will be fine.

    Can I use a regular boxspring

    • @dugroz
      @dugroz  4 года назад +3

      Yes! You will need to use either a box spring or a bunkie board. But any box spring should work.

      After about 9 months it did start some squeaking. I was able to resolve that -- see my other video called "fix a squeaky bed frame"

      That's correct. The name is actually "Tribecca Home Giselle Antique Bed" - see the description box for the Amazon link. Thanks.
