I feel like if I got this, I would burn my name into everything in the house just because. I do have a project I've been sitting on for a while that would be a great test for this unit. I can't find anyone local to do it because it would be burning a design onto a curved surface like a baseball bat. Great review!!
I don't WANT to be a professional...but I want to make my own dollhouse miniatures (and I'm lazy AF). This one is too much money for that. Would your LITTLE laser, the one you use to put your logo on your projects, be able to cut fine detail THROUGH 1-3mm material?
There is an older smaller and cheaper version of this machine on their website. It’s called F1. The one I use for engraving my logo has very small working are but it would cut through that.
Since you have this machine = perhaps you could make it a part of your business + provide engraving services / sell small stuff? It does the double duty of making a couple of quid alongside more people being aware of you as a furniture maker / restorer. Just an idea - sorry for providing unsolicitaded advice.

Perhaps you could also create educational videos + courses (paid/free + whatnot)? Your work is great, you've media-friendly personality, it begs for capitalising on it. Sorry again for being a pest.

Nothing wrong with that especially since it's out in the open. I'm happy for you that you have that arrangement. That's one reason I considered starting a restoration channel. Since I film the stuff I restore anyway because sometimes it's a while before I put it back together ( waiting on parts, I have a job, etc ). I thought the editing would be the hard part. But it turns out I'm extremely camera shy :) So now I have a bunch of unused videos taking up space 😂

This has nothing to do with your project today . I do have a suggestion, you may consider. I saw on a RUclips video, where the lady buys boards , with or without handles , pizza ones too , as long as they look good ! She then sands them I suppose, has come up with a brilliant idea , she’s got a machine that writes on the boards ! She’s written some of her Gramas & moms recipes on them , now she’s taking orders for the public ! Do you understand what I’m saying, try some yourself, maybe it’ll be hit for you !

Can’t compare them. They can do different things. The big one won’t cut acrylic or metal/ stone but will cut wood quicker and thicker pieces.
That would be nice to have . I'm not sure how much one costs. But with my income I wouldn't be able to afford it .
