@@Odaat_Recovery saw that video. I’m on week 2 on recovery. I told my family what I did. And own up for all my mistakes. It’s gonna take. 5 plus year to get out of this. But it’s the only way to actually win. Gambling a scam and a lie. U lose so much money and they try to offer u bonus money that u need to wager 40x together cash out to hold u back. It was build not to just profit but to actually destroy you. I’m just glad I’m not the point I don’t wanna suicide. Walking away is the best choice and I hope to never relapse in the future. It’s just sick how much having fun gambling can back set back years for anyone.

I can relate to all of it!
I’ve been in recovery for 8.5 months and it’s the best decision I made. While gambling in the casino on slots were so much fun for me, it ruined my life in so many ways! - mainly financial.
I’ve been hosting GA meetings and I’m good at it and have helped sooo many people and they have helped me too! Every time a new joiner comes in, I give back too.

I almost cashed out today but lost it all back. Now it’s too much money to try and win back. Gambling is really just a circle or until flat broke that is. Channels like these are needed due to all the gambling content and ads. If you’re reading this, learn from my comment and others - don’t waste time gambling, it’s not guaranteed and you’re better off learning a skill.

What helped me to stop casino gambling was to realize I was not there for the money. I was there for an escape from my feelings, my life. The reality is that the casino has the advantage. No one ever wins in the long run. So it's not about money for us. We want to feel like "winners," and are literally paying money to get that feeling. Ironically, we give our money to them, so they can give a little bit of it back, to make us feel like winners.

Hey Rob. I have a question that’s going true my mind for the last week. I’m now 81 days free off gambling but since a few weeks I started with collecting soccer cards from Panini & Topps. It’s mostly fun to complete a album but there is also a chance when you opening a package off cards that you will find a special card that is worth a little bit off money. Maybe €50,- or something. In the beginning I like all the cards that I found including base cards and the not so special cards. I still like them but my head is now sometimes only thinking about that special card. I tell myself not to focus only on the special cards but to enjoy all the cards. Do I now have a problem with soccer cards or is it normal that your mind thinks like that. Is it normal that the special cards trigger you the most? Sometimes I’m a little bit worried if this a new addiction. But if it is that means I’m never gonna do something with a little bit off tension anymore.

@ Thanks for the answer. Panini and Topps doesn’t feel very wrong for me. On the other hand Pokémon cards does feel wrong for me so I stopped with that after a few buys. My head is clear about that. Pokémon cards are very expensive and feels Ike a endless circle with almost every month a new update with new cards. That is way to much for me. A endless circle you can’t keep up with. But I don’t have that feeling with Panini & Topps. You have all the time to complete a season. I don’t feel rushed by that. It feels clearer also in my mind. I live in australia and I can't even find a sponsor. I must stop gambling but doing it alone is the hardest thing ever. Even my partner said to me she cannot support me stopping because she has her own stuff to deal with.

After Gambling on Sports for about 4/5 yrs blindly. I came to realize it was a Zero sum game for me. After that i didnt enjoy placing a bet. But Now when i dont want to waste my time on this shit ... I found out a loophole to make around 1k/1.2k$ per month(which is a lot in my country) from it without risking any of my money. what should I do ? Quit Now or Make money risking I might lose control on the way ?

Made a nice little score at the Breeders Cup horse races this weekend. I had One winner and two losers going into the Breeders Cup Classic. Made a stupid mistake and didn't include fierceness, but I had the other three out of four in the superfecta. So at that point I was down. Then when it came to the Breeders Cup mile on the turf I had the winner that came from dead last at 8-1 in a future bet. I also won the Breeders Cup Sprint with a horse named straight no chaser. So at the end of the day I was up $180. So what did I do? Cashed out. No more bets. Haha
