    Right at this point, Ivar should've whipped out Ragnar Lothbrok's arm ring and told his bothers what Ragnar's final words to him were: be ruthless. Bjorn was obsessing over a dream that his father had long abandoned.

      TheBois InShade rangnar told ivar to attack ecbert during his final words to him but ivar is right if they just would have stay there and kept attacking not allowing any forces to gather they could have taken over all of Europe ( that would have been pretty dope to see in my opinion)

      I agree, Ragnar’s only dream before his death was to demolish England or at least Wessex. *SPOLIERS FOR SEASON 6* . In the imaginary conversation Bjorn had with Ivar in 6x10, Ivar was correct when he said “Our father’s real legacy is safe with me.” He was the only one that knew that final version of Ragnar, Bjorn knew the passionate, ambitious Ragnar, that’s why he thought the settlement was still his dream. Ivar knew the sadder, wiser Ragnar and he knew his final wish was to destroy Wessex so I wonder if Ragnar would’ve been on Ivar’s side at least in Season 5A. I don’t think the other brothers ever understood what Ragnar truly wanted.

      After bingeing Vikings from the start, recently, it seems that just as Rollo's one trick pony schtick is betraying Ragnar and preaching about how it's important to be loyal,
      Bjorn's problem is, in the words of Ragnar, he has the "strength of a man but the will of a little girl". Bjorn's a blunt instrument that thinks it can think. Bjorn the Bonehead.

    • @ravensthatflywiththenightm7319
      @ravensthatflywiththenightm7319 3 года назад +7

      Also Ragnar once advised him to think with his head, not with his penis. But that's all Bjorn does from start to finish - he thinks constantly and consistently with his penis. But I can't really blame him. It's entirely possible he was born without anything between his ears.

      Ecbert at the time is a King of Saxons (with King Aella) while Ragnar is the King of the Vikings in which the Saxons hated the most. So, the most obvious thing to do when Ecbert holds Ragnar as prisoner is to kill him because if he does not, his whole kingdom will turn against him. However, he did not want to kill Ragnar himself because he loved him so he gave Ragnar to Aella. Also, Ragnar tricked him by saying that if Aella would be the one to kill him, the wrath of the Vikings would only fall to Northumbria.
