It was a pleasure meeting Miguel at ESK8con in Las Vegas and speaking to him in detail about the Hunter Board. This board is different than anything i have every ridden. It is so much fun being light weight, quick and nimble. The suspension is a work of art. I wish I had more time to actually ride it during that weekend and take it home with me. These guys know how to make great boards. Miguel had this board on the track going against $4K boards and up and it was right there neck and neck.

I've tested the Hunter last weekend and it was a interesting experience!
At first the things i don't like about it:
- For my personal taste, the deck is a lil bit too small and narrow.
- The whole board was very noisy. The suspension system was squeaking as heck and the wheels rattle loudly while riding.
(I guess it was a used board with LOTS of miles on it. Maybe a lil bit of grease here an there will help)
- I'm not a fan of hub drives in general. Even in the highest mode, torque and acceleration is too weak for my personal taste.
Now the things i really like about it:
- Unique design and not a easy copycat! These guys dared to develop something completely different and i really appreciate that. KUDOS !!!
- Unique riding experience! It is nimble, carves and turns well at slow speeds. At higher speeds in combination with deep carves, it seems to stabilize itself, because the centrifugal forces push the suspension-trucks apart and thus make the whole track wider. It's hard to describe, but that's how I felt.
- The board made a high-quality impression on me. Pure aluminum everywhere!
- The controls, in terms of throttle and brakes, were butter smooth and very well matched.
- Lightweight and easy to carry!
- Can get pretty fast, but due to hub drives, it takes time to reach such high speeds.
Would I recommend it? Definitely!
At least for those who want to try something completely new when it comes to ESK8.

Super sick. Someday I will ride this insane machine from one end of the island to the other at full throttle. And then I will consider riding it from one end of North Carolina to the other. And then probably coast to coast US as a publicity tour...

I wish I could slap on the 95mm Shark Wheels on this bad boy! Looks super fun. Also, when is the Hunter eBike coming out?! I want one of those as well!
was thinking of bying one but the thing i need the most is range, if it came with a battery pack on top aswell as inside then it would have insane range and would have been my pick, but now im building on an existing board for less cash instead.
If only the wheels were better I would be sold. That is a nice piece of engineering though

Unfortunately, my experience has not be the greatest. I do have to warn customers that even though the board looks great, after placing an order almost a year and a half ago, I have never received It. With tens of emails of communication with Hunterbord team, my order has been cancelled as the boards are simply not sent to the clients. I would probably go for an alternative board out there at this point unless you want to wait for two years until you get yours.
I can relate to you. I have not heard back from them despite numerous attempts. Not sure what is going on with this company.
