Every time I listen to The Bee Gees, I know these 3 brothers were blessed with a special gift. I love music and I have heard many, many songs by wonderful artists and they were great songs, but the Bee Gees are the only ones that have really touched my soul when they sing. Their ability to write and compose music is really magical. They were heaven sent to give us a glimpse of what angels sound like. Oh how I miss them as a trio. Thanks Chad for sharing so much of them. Keep their legacy going. ❤
Thank you for this sweet reaction to just one of their wonderful interviews. The brothers gave so much to their audience whether on stage or in an interview they were always charming, sincere, and gracious. As you said, they were beautiful humans, beautiful souls.
I just loved the way they interacted with Michael Parkinson. What a great interviewer. They were wonderful and spontaneous, even though they answered some questions over and over again throughout their life times. Beautiful, lovely (and a little silly) souls.
The Bee Gees are the greatest singers and song writers of all time! Their voices are amazing and their songs are magical! Thank you for this wonderful video! Bee Gees 4-ever
Michael Parkinson was excellent in this interview and showed great respect and interest during the show. He allowed them to speak without interruption and was known to have been a great fan. The boys were fantastic and sounded so good. I love listening to them live and I'm sure there's not many groups that could pick up their instruments and sing as perfect as they did. Love love this and thank you so much for featuring it. X
Chad, this was such a fantastic interview for you to react to. I've watched it many times and get those same vibes you have each and every time I view it. These three amazing men are definitely as you described them, beautiful souls coming from humble beginnings who never let fame and fortune change them. Just precious human beings.
They seem appologetic about "Three Kisses", but I really like that song along with "Wine & Women" and several other in that era. I often go back and listen to some of the very early music when I'm in that mood. Thanks for another great reaction!
Love the vulnerability of showing how criticism of their songs hurts. For some reason they were the punching bags of the music industry. I've always defended them and been a lifelong fan. Brothers Gibb forever ♥️
We are so very fortunate to have so much available. Concerts, interviews, snippets on them. Once in a while a very short new clip will pop up. So glad you are as fascinated by them, as we are. Delightful boys. Never were full of themself. Giving, and kind.❤❤❤Thank you, Chad!
Great interview with the BeeGees. It is AMAZING how great they sound with just two guitars. Their harmonies are the best. Enjoy every weekend you have with the BeeGees ❤️❤️❤️. Also changing your internet really makes a huge difference. You look much clearer and brighter to me.
Absolutely loved this interview and I agree with you completely about these beautiful, humble souls. I just love them so much. They always make me smile and they touch my heart. Thank for playing this interview. ❤️❤️
I always love how they are so willing to break into singing when asked. There’s even a college DJ who asked them to record his answering machine message for him. And they were actually glad to do it! And it sounded great! Last year he tweeted the recording to Steven Gibb with the story. And how he couldn’t believe they obliged and didn’t tell him to “sod-off”! 😂
I was so excited to see another Bee Gees interview reaction from you! I'm so glad it didn't get blocked, even if you had to edit some of it out in order for it not to! I love watching (or, even, just hearing, if there's only audio available) them being interviewed so much because you get to learn different things about them and see and/or hear how they interact with each other and the interviewer. And, they're always so silly, lighthearted, honest, kind, humble, and/or down-to-earth about everything! I, also, love getting to hear them spontaneously start singing without having rehearsed at all with only one or two guitars to accompany them. And, they always nail every single song they sing!
Yes I noticed the different cuttings since I know all this interviews by heart 😁 and imagined it was for the copyrights, no big deal Chad we understand and you can have a better idea, as you said, of these wonderful human beings always down to earth and always humble, all their interviews have always something remarkable besides their awesome music, imagine that, only two guitars, three angelic voices and the result is just the magic these brothers can share.
Love watching the interviews with our guys. So true they can sing the phone book and be awesome. Love their personalities. Think I will watch some of their dvds tomorrow.
i have watched many Bee Gees interviews including this one. They do a wonderful job of the showing wonderful, caring, fun loving personalities of all the brothers. They are truly good people who loved their families and loved what they did. Thank you for reacting to this. Great to see this as part of your collection. :)
I was waiting for you to do a reaction to this interview. It is one of my favorite interviews of them. These types of interviews showcase their talents immensely. As I’ve said, before, if you can sing and play in an acoustic venue, then you are truly showing your talents. There is no autotune here. They sound exactly like their recordings. Maurice also has a clear look to him. I would venture to say that this is the time period where he had quit drinking, or was getting help to quit drinking. Thanks again, Chad.
Its nice that you showcased this Chad as Michael Parkinson passed away last week aged 88. He had a great rapport with the boys. Actually Michael interviewed them in 2001 and joked with them " You're not going to walk off my show are you"? In reference to them walking off clive anderson show - well Barry walked and a confused Rob & Mo followed - I dont think they knew why . 😂😂 Back to Parky, the 2001 interview is great.......x
Chad: I love your reactions and your fairness , and your ability not to get involved in any bad drama about The Bee Gees.there’s enough negativity. Thank you ..💞🙏❤️
They did sing "Silent Night" at the end of this interview and it was absolutely heavenly! A shame it was cut off. I think the fact that they came to realize it's not all flowers and rainbows and they had desperate times, they learned humility after the initial flame of fame flickered after the 60's.
@susieq9801@janicetrimmell6897 they should have done a Christmas album! I recall Robin saying Barry was against it, he felt it was "selling out" or something like that. Glad Rob did a solo Christmas album later on, I play it over and over every December
@@gloriamaryhaywood2217 - "In the Bleak Midwinter" was my favorite song on that LP. His voice was heavenly. I used to play that on my Gibson (miniature) bagpipes at Christmas in a church with friends who played organ, tin whistle and violin and a choir. Not being a church goer I was afraid the church might implode but it survived.
Michael Parkinson was great at interviewing whomever came on his show. And, you can't go wrong with three Musical Geniuses like The Bee Gees... 💖💖💖 Thanks, Chad!💕
I know Barry never really liked to revisit old songs until Greenfields, but wouldn't it have been interesting had they done an album in the 80's of their Australian songs with modern recordings? Listening to them sing here shows how they just improved so much over the years. They said themselves in 1989 how they were unhappy with the sound of their first few albums.
Remember both their father and mother were in music with the Big Bands; mum, Barbara, was a singer and their father was a drummer they knew about the music business.
Is this the interview they walk out on because the interviewer was rude? Nope because that guy was calling them rude names the whole time until finally Barry got up tossed down his mic and left, followed by Robin, it took Mo a minute to get his mic off. And that was the end of that one. This fellow has been fairly polite. The guys actually put up with a lot from people and joke things off, but their is a limit for everyone. And they have such beautiful voices that go so well together ❤️ My favorite group ever ❤️ 💗
@@patriciamcelroy3581 Anderson really was quite awful to them. They should have had something to say to the guy's producer on the way out about telling everyone that they work with not to do the show.
@@trishafaulk2067 from what I’ve read, he had a reputation for being rude and confrontational with guests. The brothers were hesitant to do the show, but they were told repeatedly that Anderson was a fan, and it would be OK. Barry would never comment on it afterward. Years later, Mo was quoted in interview that they were ok with being kidded about the clothes and their looks but their songs were like their children and they take their music seriously.
