I've seen this intervew so mamy times because I love Bee Gees and Barry of corse. I'm from Brasil and somentimes is dificult to me to understand some words or expressions but, I have to say that Barry always delights and enchants me. I'd love to understand all jokes too 🤭 Thanks for tour reacts!
Hi Chad, wonderful reaction about that great Barry’s interview..!! Always very sad to see Barry without Maurice and Robin... 💔🙏 Other reactors knowing about what the G’s achevied in 50 years carreer.!? Not many..! Not many at all..! And it’s a HUGE shame.! BG’s FOREVER 🙏💔❤️🇬🇧💎🎸🎤🎼
He really has to tell so many interesting details and always, yes always it's clear to see, how down to earth that man is. And absolutely truthing about it all. Great thing, Chad, to serve us story's like that.
How great and beautiful this interview is with our dear Barry, so open and loving he is. I have seen this one before, but again tears in my eye's of emotions and laughter.💕
Great choice Chad. This is my second time around with this interview, and it is definitely better this time. So much more detail I comprehend this time around
One reason why Barry doesnt want to sell the music catalogue of the Bee Gees is because of what happened to the music catalogue of the Beatles, Paul McCartney is slowly getting them back under his name and John Lennon, but alot of the Beatles song he still trying to get back. I think Barry is smart by keeping and not wanting to sell them. He has all the control on who and when it can be used
Thanks Chad.....thank God this came through.....I was waiting for it ever since I saw your post where you said you ran into a snag.......hope part 2 comes out without trouble......can hardly wait for it...... I've watched this a gazillion times....but it's different sharing it with other fans and getting your thoughts at the end.....
They were already rich and successful in Europe before Saturday Night Fever. Once that happened SNF brought them to the rest of the world. Glad to see you watched this interview. It’s one of the best in my opinion. Carry on, Chad!
Hi Shad, thanks for this reaction video, Roberta Flack is absolutely amazing. The other day my mom told that I used so "sing" along with this song when it came out back in 1973, I was 4yo. My favorite song of hers is The Closer I Get To You, duet with the great Donny Hathaway, I highly recommend you to try it.
This is funny, maybe my country is one of the few that was not blocked for so long, this morning I saw the video but could only see the first part before leaving, and just come to finish it now, and still my comment is the first one 🤷♀strange things that happen in internet. Anyway, I had never paid much attention to this interview, and never heard the 'story' of the baby found in a box, IDK but maybe, just maybe, that could be his recreation of what actually happened when Lesley with just 5 years did save Robin when he was floating on a small river, he was 18 months, Barry would be about 4 years by that time, and that's may be the way he remembers that fact. Also now I understand why he always escaped from school and never wanted to finish his studies and I think his parents didn't noticed it, his school mates mocked him for his big scar.
My only problem with a lot of interviewers is "YOU wrote three #1's in an afternoon" (THEY), "One of YOUR (THEIR) songs is played every 20 seconds", etc. They were all geniuses and each one vital. We will never see a family like that again. I heard the baby story before. Lesley (according to their bio) pulled Robin out of a river weighted down by a heavy coat. Maybe babies floating by are common occurrences for the Gibbs.
I agree Susy, the guy's wrote all 3 of them great songs. But this interview is really wonderful as Barry remember his history live, thank you for your comment...bye bye🤗🤗
HI CHAD!!! watch please on RUclips, "the BGs official story" ...Channel the Bee Gees Andy and the others... Maurice, Robin AND Bárbara and others talk...Is more complet. Andy Is death...hear well Maurice and Robin too. It's a very good documental 🌹 👍❤️ THANKS FOR ALL... Al principio parecía que Barry habla como solista...y no nombra las canciones de Robin NRO.1 en el '67...Todos, los tres contribuian y escribieron solos. Parece que la muerte no ha detenido la rivalidad. But Robin & Mauriçe can't to talk now 😞😞😞😞 💋
In an interview after Robin died Barry said "I should have let Robin sing more". I found that strange since he so often praised Robin's voice as "killer" and "the best he ever heard, better than his own." I wondered why he was always the one to decide. Yes, subconscious rivalry still seems to exist.
The "I should have let him sing more" comment was in an interview with Al Roker after Robin died and I believe it was on "Good Morning America". In several interviews Barry commented on the quality of his brother's voice. The last time Barry and Robin sang together in Barry's house he said "Nobody sings like you do". In the HBO documentary Mo said Robin had "The voice that touches your heart".
@@susieq9801 Welp, I guess since Robin died Barry's had no one to argue with? Or as one fan put it, there's no one left to torture!😜 So he just continues a one-way fight with only himself contributing to the dialogue? He'd better watch out that he doesn't end up dying a bitter old man. #LetItGoBarry!
Phenomenal family. Lovely humble man who is beautiful inside and out. Glad he found Linda and had a lovely talented family.
Enjoy watching this great interview
Pier Morgan is great host and Barry is people’s forever icon

I think there is no other artist as down to earth as Barry Gibb, full of humor and self-mockery

Great video. I hope part 2 will be unblocked soon.

Barry is always moving in this interview, i think for two reasons....he is nervous but primaly for his medical prescriptions
Como assim prescrição médica ? Ele está doente ?
Ive read and researched and it was Robin Gibb who wrote most of the songs.
I love them them all though
