How the hell did this video go from brother betraying brother, to kicking the lord of all evil from a castle, to the king of games being a Yu-gi-oh experts and the Astral Plane being the Shadow Realm, to Chef Saltbaker being the next King's Leap champion, *LIKE WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING IN THIS VIDEO!?*
The king of games could then happen to be the strongest character in the Cuphead lore. Could be the reason why you never actually get to fight him, as he would be too powerful even compared to the devil.
@@isagames0677 Well… I think it could have been something else. I think the answer might be in the chess game itself: all of the pieces except the king can be “captured” or “killed”. In Cuphead you might notice how the bosses “die” when you beat them and when it says “Knockout” would be an analogy with the chess act of “capturing” the piece you are fighting (pawn, knight, bishop, rook or Queen). And the king would the only one missing as you can’t really “knock out” (capture/kill) him. Intriguing because when you beat the gauntlet of all the bosses, he says “you gained the ultimate reward: a king’s admiration”, in a chess game it is way easier to put a king in checkmate if most of all of his pieces (champions) are captured; it could be interpreted that he was “checkmated”. Fun fact that the bosses are in the exact order of how much they’re worth in a chess match: Pawn: 1 point Knight: 3 points Bishop: 3 points Rook: 5 points Queen: 9 points King: The match As the king has no actual numerical value but if you win or lose a match he can’t be simply “knocked out”.

The only comparisons you could make are that they are game pieces with mustaches. The chess pieces in the Devil's casino are weird, but it's the Devil's casino, not Dice's, and it always was. It is not underground to hide from the King of games, but because it is in Inkwell Hell, the Devil's domain. Also, King Dice never claims to be king in a royal sense, in fact he doesn’t even wear a crown. The whole "Inkwell Isle was in the sky" is nonsense, as it is called Inkwell ILSE, the abbreviation of Island. You could argue that it wasn’t always called that, but in game locations seem to be contrary to that. If it ever was in the sky, it was certainly before king dice was alive. This claim also doesn't even affect anything in this theory, not sure why you included it. The cracks in the castle proves nothing either, comparing it to continents makes no sense as the two things you are using do not fit together. The cracks instead are from weathering, as the King's castle is based off medieval tropes and is probably very old. Saying King dice is a fallen angel is ridiculous, the King is clearly not God or an angel because he has a bishop, a catholic official. Your stained glass windows all feature chess pieces, not King Dice, and the angel wings are simply a reference to how medieval kings were usually catholic. The beheaded could be anyone, perhaps even traitors. Considering they resemble nobles they were likely power hungry and did things the king considered unjust. Also, if the king is a fallen angel, why is he not the devil's pawn? Also you should’ve used something in game rather than a joke to introduce the astral plane, or at least an "in all seriousness (insert REAL evidence)". The astral plane is NOT the shadow realm, it is the realm of the dead. No evidence implies that the King even has a connection to the astral plane, if he did have one than at least one of his backdrops would feature out-of-place imagery with stars or darkness. The only thing close to that is the outside area in the Knight's room, which seems to just be clouds blocking the sun, something that would be perfectly normal in the castle's location. If this video isn’t meant to be taken seriously, please let me know so that I don't wind up writing another essay and start mentioning that in the videos, otherwise people will actually take this seriously and believe things that aren’t remotely true.
