I think with the moonshine mob, they’re also fighting the ant cops, who are fighting them but also not really paying attention to the fact that they can hurt us. In fact the anteater is the muscle to deal with said ant police.

Honestly, I like the fact that they chose to make the dough from moonshine manufacturers, it’s just solid attention to detail.
Please for the love of salt baker make more of these, I’ve never felt more enlightened 😭
Some parts of this made sense, but a lot of it sounds really far fetched. First of all, while I will agree that all of the bosses here are seem to be above the law, you have forgotten that Chef Saltbaker doesn’t rule here, as he is arrested by the police when he is caught. Furthermore, Saltbaker wasn’t baking the wondertart for power, but because it would be his magnum opus, something that people would marvel at and praise him for. He wanted fame and praise, not power. Furthermore, the Devil and Angel boss does not belong in this discussion as that fight is tied to the devil and the cursed relic, lore that has no relation to saltbaker and the wondertart. I'd also like to point out that the "heart and soul" is a joke referencing both how the ingredients he needs are alive as well as the fact he needs a soul to complete the tart. Heart and soul in this context only refers to a soul, not two separate ingerdients. You could argue the heart comes form saltbaker, but that would be a figurative term amongst 6 literal ingredients, so I don't think that is a very good point. Plus, heart and soul are often treated as one and the same in most cases where they are used in the same sentence, and while its possible ther is an exception here, I find it unlikely. Another thing to point out is that taking the distillery dough from the Moonshine Mob isn’t hurting the city you fight them in, as the mob is clearly in the business of illegal activities (hence the police interfering in the fight), meaning the dough was likely stolen in the first place. I will agree that there are some world war 2 references, but most of this does not reasonably apply to every dlc boss, and there are multiple WWII references in the base game (werner werman, for example). Lastly, you have failed to explain how the seven deadly sins are represented here, the number seven (which was brought up through invalid means in the first place) is not enough to validate that.

"...The cosmic powers of the astral plane will be mine!" - Chef Saltbaker. He was interested in obtaining power. What I meant by the seven deadly sins is that a dictator that desires power has succumbed to desire.
@@wyrdbean I forgot about that line, but again, saltbaker is not actually a dictator at any point, in fact it is not ever implied that he was suspected by anyone to have any ill intent, and if he was a dictator, then why is everyone willing to make him do community service and let him continue his baking business afterward? The fact that he is arrested and taken to court says he does not have any political power or authority. If you are saying he intended to become a dictator, this is not actually implied in-game, he could have wanted power over the dead for any reason.

I think this is just meant to show cuphead and mugman's character. Cuphead is foolish and rash while mugman is timid and cautious, no deeper implications intended

The other ingredient could also be salt. So it could be dough, limes, mints, sugar cubes, berries, a soul, and salt. Salt is used in some baking recipes

basically the plot of the cuphead dlc is the genocide route of undertale except you only steal stuff from the bosses.
Alright there are a lot of coincidences between Cuphead DLC and Cuphead Show.
Elder Kettle CANONICALLY joined the military in one episode in the Cuphead Show. What is more interesting is that most of the casinos and alcohol are not present in the show since it is for kids. Coincidentally, it does takes place in the 1960s because Elder Kettle is retired after the World War. Musicals, tap dances and game shows are a thing in the 1960s.
Meanwhile, Cuphead game takes place in the 1930s because alcohol is more common due to the existence of the Sin Industries.
The only difference so far with Ms Chalice is that she can control her powers in the cuphead show to escape her crimes and to run from the police. Unlike in the game, she needs an Astral Cookie (being sacrificed by several souls) for her body.
What is more interesting is that Chalice's Super Art 3 resembles Athena, as she is known for Wisdom by the Greeks. Not to mention, the Cyclops appeared in the Season 1 part 2 trailer. Possibly, there might be stuff that can coincidentally connect to wars in Greek mythology. Inkwell Isle is also separated in 4 parts and the existence of the Astral plane.
However, maybe the astral plane and division of the isle might be related to the war where Elder Kettle joined in including the background of Cuphead, Mugman and Chalice. What is wayyy more interesting, that the last episode of Cuphead Show shows a cookie factory. This might be the astral cookie that can give Cuphead and Mugman powers in later episodes (possibly this is where they get the bullets and arts).
The game so far is I think, separated from the show....since both takes place in different timelines, same story yet in different plot stuff (ex. instead of meeting King Dice in the Casino, in the show, they meet him instead in the game show).

Also, I believe in phase three of the saltbaker fight, that effect is being caused by the wondertart. Just look where the effect it coming from, looks like the wondertart giving off astral plane vibes.

Have you ever noticed that some of the bosses eyes turn yellow, what if the devil controls them to try to stop you, that means chef salt baker wasn’t willingly doing that stuff, he was being controlled by the devil and maybe the wondertart doesn’t require a living soul, that would make an interesting theory

Just an idea for the desert limes. If a cow, exclusively lives in a desert, not it's normal ecosystem. It's probably going to be lacking in nutrients and vitamins it would usually have. so perhaps Ester is protecting the limes so she and her town doesn't have a lack of vitamin C.

Now that you mentioned the 7 deadly sins, I believe the ingredients we got could mean sin since the Wondertart is like...idk let me list it out for you, but I'mnot sure for Envy and Sloth but I believe The Devil and Chef Saltbaker are Envy and Sloth:
Moonshine Guys and the Distillery Dough: Lust (Since this level is club based, I've seen some movies about clubs like this about some dude with a tophat, a sexy girl, and a commentator)
Glumstone and the Gnome Berries: Gluttony (When you reach the 3rd phase, the uvula thing spits out the chicken drumsticks and the skull things eat it)
Mortimer and the Sugar Ice Cubes: Wrath (When you're at the 2nd phase, Mortimer's snowman showed some strength)
Ester and the Dessert Limes : Greed (When you're at the 2nd phase of this fight, when she summons her Luigi's mansion vacuum thing, she sucks up the money and then shoots out the safe, so that might explain in the first phase that there's a wanted poster of herself that she stole the money)
Howling Aces: Pride (Throughout this whole level, I believe that they're just keeping their family tradition to keep their war planes and the whole war fiasco kept going on and on)
