Actually… there is no bad casting in cuphead. Literally all the voices are perfect. Its literally perfect show. Perfect animation, perfect acting, perfect depiction of characters in all possible ways. ITS PERFECT
So many similarities between King Dice and Ms. Chalice! They're the only two characters to have a backstory episode, they both refer to themselves as Number 1, both get a foreboding scene where they're called down to Hell to see the boss, both called themselves "down 'n' out done for" when they lost everything, and are both referred to as characters with a song in their heart. I wonder if it means something 🤔
If they both met I feel like they will get along. Like chalice would try to do her trick on him, but dice would be like "Ah i remember doing that trick when I was your age. "
I think DD already said in Twitter that upon consideration, they thought it'd be out of character for dice to do anything but be sad and unemployed after his falling out with the devil, so that's probably why
He was depressed because he failed, so he basically was playing the drama queen part 😂 But yeah, he's able to do everything by himself in theory, but some people need to be motivated by others. The devil himself could do everything by himself, but he like to use rules and to have people around him.
According the producers, this was a reference to his boss fight in the game, in that the King Dice is far bigger in comparison. Though that i agreed with you 😄
Dice is absolutely my favorite character! Such a shame he only got twelve minutes of screen time…. He deserved more! And even more of a shame that we won’t be getting any more of it….

I like the king dice character a lot, The voice is not what I expected but it's growing on me. The only thing I really wish they had was purple eye shadow like in the fan art it would really add to him a lot, and I mean that beautiful royal purple not that light gray purple he already has on.

I think he's my favourite character from the show, along from with the Devil. I just wish he was more present in it. I kind of went into the show expecting him to have the role Henchman has in it (since that's the role he has in the game) kind of disappointed he wasn't in it more.
Henchman is definitly kind and goodness, but honestly, he isn't suitable for Devil's first minion. Because he dislike stealing the souls others. I want Henchman to be penitent and become Cuphead's ally.
