I like how the Devil is open to Henchman, even remembers how much he likes King Dice's show, and confides that he didn't actually get Cuphead's soul, but lied to everyone else.
I wouldn’t say Henchman is dumb, his voice gives us this associates with dumb characters. Despite that, he still knows how to do his job decently such as giving calls to devil and treating him after mugman made him wear the sweater, he even shows social ques such as stickler mentions cuphead, he shows signs that “please dont mention that”. Henchman is very open to show what he likes to the devil, just like how devil is open to his frustrations.
7:23 I like how he actually picks seemingly good moments where one could possibly not be wearing a sweater. In the first instance, he picks a random moment. Maybe Cuphead forgot to put it on today. This isn't the case, unfortunately for the Devil. In the second instance, he waits until they are at the beach. Because who wears a sweater on a hot day? In the third instance, they were playing with water. Maybe they had to put it out to dry or change clothes in between. In the fourth instance, when they are asleep, it might not be the most comfortable to sleep with a sweater on. And in the final instance, they might have to take off the sweater in order to properly try on different clothes.
Honestly I’m kinda glad Cuphead and Mugman don’t have their powers from the game. It’s honestly a lot more fun to watch them get out of problems without just blasting everything.
i feel the exact same way! i feel like this show is so creative. i don’t think it would be so enjoyable if they just animated the whole game. love this show :)

I also love that this character is that he’s actually a character and not just a plot device unlike his game counterpart; although he’s an intimidating, blood-thirsty serial killer who’s dedicated half his life to hunting a child, he also shows a great deal of affability and cheerfulness whenever he’s not ripping the life out of innocent children, it’s relatively strange but in a surprising good fashion. Unlike most children’s entertainment villains nowadays he’s not a bumbling incompetent slob who’s never taken seriously, he manages to be a genuinely serious threat while having comedic moments, which don’t often interfere with his villainy. I also have to hand it to his voice actor for properly conveying the right emotions and temperaments at the appropriate moments, it not only makes him more human but also makes him appear more alive. Oh
Oę
*in stickler's voice* umm actually in 4:14 the devil says "ahh"
O
This guy was a brilliant example of how to do an animated villain who’s stylish, ridiculously over the top, somewhat pathetic, but also terrifyingly powerful and menacing when necessary.
3:37 That Scream was So Good to my Ears. 😊
3:49 King Dice’s Black Pac Man Eyes go from Large to Super Small. 😂

0:54 to 1:10 is by far my favorite scene in this entire show

Good ending: You were playing story mode, not online games
Especially when the match is going well in your favor.
I love how Devil is towering over Cuphead most of the time but in that one scene where they get along, he is barely one head taller than him (not counting the horns). As if his height represents the varying level of menace he displays
fun fact: if you pause at 0:04, you can see the telephone's soul going down the pipe nearest to the devil.
Cool
Say what you will about him, he does know how to throw a good office party.
"You're wearing an impenetrable invisible sweater!"
Best thing I've ever heard
Yep, seems like a pretty accurate portrayal of the Devil.
The fact he has a Song before he even *does* anything Evil is Really cool
I love this version of the Devil so MUCH!!! His voice actor did a fantastic performance, and I cannot wait to see more of him in the future
The goat looks scarier than the actual devil I’m not gonna lie
True, he looks like a parody of Tom
Goat Devil looks better in the game tbh
CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW GOOD HE IS AT SINGING
3:51 the way he says it and the face he makes is incredible
That pzrt reminds me of the game when he did that
9:16 I love it when cuphead says "hey Devil"
A hero is a hero, but everyone loves a good villain.
