Also the T-72 was a downgrade of T-64 to be cheaper and still doesn’t have modern things, and T-72 is like 14 years older, and T-64 being early 60’s (mid 60’s with 125)

@@Questionablethingy yeah 2a5 in the game is way more survivable than the a4. Even if in real life they only upgraded the hull armor package at the a6 it's clearly different in game.

To be honest, M1 Abrams is a very good tank and proved itself many times and still is a good tank for modern battles, so upgrading it can be argued to be a better option instead of designing a new tank. However, as a design it is very old and it is starting to show its age and some design elements don't seem to be not wanted to be kept in the eyes of the army, like a crew needing a loader due to the non-existent auto-loader mechanism or the old hull which is not changed or had minimal changes. M1A3 is now in development to potentially replace the current Abram variants in use right now.
Other nations : gets 2020 tank and 2020 ammo
America : 2010 tank with 1998 ammo
For all 40 years, Abrams only went to the hairdresser.
The abrams in USA is like T-72 in USSR/Russia

Like how many sources do we need to change this Gaijin? Where’s the 50mm UFP? The fuel bulkhead armor thickness? Why doesn’t it wrap around the front of the fuel tanks too. Where’s the 200mm turret ring? the turret basket?
The only reasonable explanation for all of this is that Gaijin, War Thunder, is actually an FSB Psyop to get classified documents. What other explanation is there at this point?
