Hello Ben! I have a question, what campaign objective do you recommend for retargeting website visitors 15 days? Reach or Conversions?? In some videos you talked about REACH as a good one too? Thanks! :)
I'd go with conversions :)
@@BenHeath Hey Ben! Great video! For a service charging £1500+ per ticket, would you use instant experience and just a sign up field on the landing page on the website, or would you just build a great landing page with contact option? Thanks :)
hello Mr. Ben Health im always watching your video. And i have a question what if the ‘‘LEAD‘‘ does not any color in the lead what will i do ? please help me thank you ..
Hi Ben, Im trying to sell my products. in Optimization for Ad Delivery (it suppose to be Conversion set-up lile you said).. But Facebook gave me a warning that if I choose Conversion instead of Landing Page, I will have Zero Conversion.. So I chose Landing Page.. So these 2 weeks, I only have website visitors and no purchase. Why facebook stops me to Chose Coversion even that is my goal?
Omg I LOVE your videos, I would be so lost if I hadn't found you!! Keep them coming, I appreciate you so much!
Thank you! Will do!
Hey Ben! Thanks for all of your lessons. I highly reccomend everyone to get through this free material from you! Its such a huge doze of information, everything explained clearly. I've been watching your videos for the past two days, and your videos are so much better and easier to understand than the $2,000 course I purchased last year on Facebook advertising.

WoW. My first time of watching a RUclips tutorial video till the end without skipping a part. I even took a note. So clarifying and on point. The most amazing part, is that every question I had in mind were answered. It was like you were walking through my mind.
I subscribed already. I'll watch all videos 1 after the other... I believe I found the teacher I've always scouted for. May be one day I'll become a guru like my teacher "Ben Heath"... Smiles

Hello Ben. How are you this morning. I followed your tutorial step by step and indeed it was easy to set up a campaign & even my pixels. But the sad part is Facebook keep rejecting my Ad. Its frustrating. I have tried all I could; edited the picture, edited my Ad copy several times. What am I doing wrong. I'm just starting my small ecomm biz from home. I need this ad running.
Thanks in anticipation.

Hey Ben, your content is so much fun and easy to digest! can you suggest, if I'm going to run a Brand New campaign in a new brand as well without any existing customer list. Is conversion objective remains best to bring them to landing website? Or is it better we aim for the traffic for a few month running the AdSet until we got a perfect campaign structure in different AdSet and Ads?
Thank u so much for this enlightment. The Guru of easy undertandable, well explained, FB content.

Hi Ben, great video! I was wondering, we sell multiple educational product so we have multiple thank you pages that define a "lead". Now I'm wondering what conversion to choose for my campaigns. Do I use the lead for that specific ed-program, or do i choose the 'general' leads (lead is defined thru ALL the thank you pages, instead of a specific one)
Hey Ben, love your vids they’re very informative. I had a quick question. If I have only 90 PUR conversion in the last 40 days. Should I use PUR conversion or go up the funnel and use ATC? Thanks in advance and keep striving for greatness Ben!
Thanks a lot :)
Definitely optimise for the purchase conversion event in your case. You have more than enough to do so.
your actually the goat man
Haha thanks a lot :)
Really want to appreciate Ben you've made it as a duty to always give out value.
I just want to ask when targeting how many location should an Ad contain?
Can you use like every location you think your targeted audience is or should you test first?
Use all locations 🙌
Hi Ben, you've been my true guru for Facebook ads. I've got a quick question. When we select conversion as an objective, we got the option to select website visitors and then putting Facebook pixel on a particular page.. this is what you've explained in this video. But, my business need more whatsapp messages, what should I do? Should I use conversions as objective? If yes, how can I specify event or install pixel on WhatsApp?
What strategy should I use to get more Whatsapp messages? Please explain me regarding this I'm very much confused on this. Thanks alot dear Ben.
very useful thanks

Thanks.
This has helped out a great deal.

Hey Ben, love your content, thank you! I was wondering, what software do you use for these vids? Thanks and stay safe!
Thanks Kim. I use Monosnap :)
Thank you Ben !
My pleasure!
Great video!!
Thanks a lot Javier
Very useful video, as always, Ben! Thank you. Question. I'm using a quiz/assessment as a lead magnet to generate sign-ups to my email list. Should I create a standard event - i.e. complete registration - or create a custom event? The quiz taker can receive one of four confirmation/thank you emails depending on their test results.
Thanks a lot.
Either way should be fine :)
Great Video! Always a pleasure watching and learning. One quick question: For the Ad Set level, Can I choose conversions as "Messenger" instead of "Website"?
Yes you can :)
great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Very Useful
Glad you think so!
Hi Ben, thank you for posting. I find all your videos very helpful and valuable. Could you shed some light on app install campaigns?
Thanks Sam. I can indeed and I have created a video on them here: ruclips.net/video/SlWpZKYfbYE/видео.html
Statutory Warning: Watching this video is extremely beneficial to your business. Ben should stop putting out such stellar content for free! On a serious note - thank you so much, Ben.
Haha - I appreciate that!
Hey, Ben! Thank you for the amazing content you create, I have seen good results following the tutorials you create. I have a quick question. Is it ok to combine custom audience and lookalike audience when you are running conversion campaigns? Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you in advance.
Thank you very much :)
I wouldn't combine the two into one ad set. But you could have them in separate ad sets in the same campaign.
Hi Ben! Great video again! I have a pre-optimized custom audience of ~42K users (matched in FB) that I know are currently highly likely to buy a specific product and I want to reach as many as possible, would you use Conversion or Reach strategy? Tried Conversion but I am only able to reach ~10% of the audience without Facebook starting to increase frequency a lot and conversions did not scale with that (frequency went above 8 where most purchases where seen at 2-3)? Cheers
Great Video Ben - Could you upload a video explaining A/B Testing?
Great suggestion!
Thanks fo much for your video! I don't currently have any purchases for my new venture. I've set target to conversion & purchase, but my ad is not spending. Everything is approved and active.
You are welcome. Sounds like your audience might be too small or you've got a cost cap that's too low.
Hey Ben, love your videos, thank you for your expertise! I would love your thoughts on, how should a startup without any website traffic set up their first campaign? Would it still be a conversion campaign to optimize purchase but how does that work with a website that has not had any activity or purchases? Any clarification on what does initiating optimization for purchases do if there has not been any purchases on your website? Thanks Ben!
Hi Matt, I'd go straight for conversions and optimise for purchases :)
Thank you
Hi Ben, thank you for the fantastic content, very inspirational! Quick question - I created a Conversions campaign a couple of weeks ago, my problem is low landing page views compared to link clicks - 90% drop-off! :(( Any tips??
hey Ben thanks so much for sharing tons of value, my question when you do the interest targeting would you do straight into interest for example, for selling watches $ 150 would you go interest: watch or more like the fashion industry like Zara, bershka, etc ?thank you for your answer
Hi Richard, thanks a lot.
No need to overthink it - test the obvious first :)
Thank you Ben for such a great tutorial ^_^ I have a question, does my complete registration custom conversion event has to already have some data generated in order to advertise and bring more registrations? Does Facebook need this data to find more relevant audience for me or is it enough to indicate target audience myself? Also why did you skip dynamic ads? Wouldn't it help us to use different creative visuals? Thank you in advance for your answer
Hi Emma, no it does not. You can go for it from day one :)
I don't usually use dynamic ads because you can easily end up with too many variables which makes it more difficult for Facebook to optimise your campaign.
Thanks Ben
Hey ben i had a question.Do we need to use interest targeting even if we are using custom audiences using pixels or should we just leave out the interest targeting option?
Ben, I'm hoping you can help me with a question. I'm running my first campaign with my new BM. 1 campaign-3 ad sets-3 ads per ad set. Each 3 ads will have a different creative. Each Ad set will have a different target audience. Should I create the entire campaign before I publish it to Facebook? Or should I just publish 1 ad set and 1 ad, and then duplicate my additional ad sets and ads after the campaign has been approved? Thank you for your help!
Very informative
Glad you think so!
Ben, thank you for great content as usual. I have one question though. Might be silly but what is the difference between remarketing and conversion. I mean I know the difference but when is better to choose the one and the other? If you could just briefly explain, it would help a lot. Thanks! :)
Thanks Pavel. They aren't separate things. Remarketing is simply advertising to people that have already interacted with your business in some way. You can run a conversion campaign to an existing audience. You can run a conversion campaign to a cold audience.
Hi Ben! Thanks for the great videos. I wanted to do a purchase campaign but haven’t have a weekly purchase. My button color for purchase is yellow at the moment. I’ve been having a lot of add to cart and wondering if I should do an add to cart or which one since I can’t do purchase yet? Thank you!
You are very welcome.
It doesn't sound like the issue is the conversion event to me. It sounds like the issue is the checkout page or process. I'd try and fix the conversion rate between add to cart and purchase. Optimizing for add to cart is only likely to make that conversion rate worse.
nice content
Thanks a lot
Hi Ben, do you have a video where you set up ad conversions for a specific product? I am trying to set up an ad campaign and want to know how much I earned in sales from a specific ad.
Hello Ben! Great video, it helped me a lot! I have one question though. I am promoting a Shopify store. I have been running some traffic campaigns in order to warm the audience. They brought a lot of content views, but only 3 add to card actions. Therefore, the store hasn't reached purchases yet, and I was wondering what kind of conversion ads should I use. When choosing the conversion event, the only active option is content views. The purchase, add to card or add payment info options have yellow dots (it has been more than 2 weeks since Pixels registered these actions). What do you recommend me to do? Should I create a conversion ad for content view? Should I continue with the traffic ads? Thank you!
Hi Maria, if you follow his videos, he'd advise against it. 90% of his ads are conversion. I've been running some traffic ads myself, I'm seeing very low CPCs but 0 sales. I switched to conversion, it's doing better. I suggest you also test the conversion :) you can try ATC and VC (viewcontent) first if you don't have enough purchases yet.
Hello Ben, I really appreciate this video. However, it seems that you didn't comment on the message appearing below Conversions field around minute 19:30 of the video. It looks like it's not possible to make a Conversions campaign (even if you already have a warm audience from an email list) if your website is new and it's not getting multiple sales a week yet (Facebook says that you can make such campaign, but it will be very inaccurate). I thought you somewhere mentioned that FB algorithm searches for all people that usually make online purchases, not only looking for similar people to the ones that already have bought on your website.
It may take months until a new ecommerce gets several sales a week (like FB Pixel apparently requires...). How is a conversion (purchase event) campaign supposed to be launched then?
Thanks
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
Great video. Can you use the conversion objective on a new pixel that has collected no data?
You sure can :)
Hey Ben, I’ve got a question. So I’ve already installed the Facebook pixel, to the website I’m looking to get yoga teachers register as vendors to the website, I’m trying to figure out how to add a trigger for vendor registration as a lead.
Would really appreciate your help.
Hi Ben,
First of all i am very thankful to you for this informative content. Buy i want to know that:
1. I want to learn Facebook campaigns but i have low budget. what minimum budget should i use to run a campaigns
You are very welcome :)
I'd check out this video for minimum Facebook ad budgets: ruclips.net/video/fDvazaXXvfs/видео.html
Hi Ben, thanks for the video! If I want to generate quality leads (that will most likely convert) through messenger conversation, should I use Conversions: Messenger instead of plain messenger campaign objective? Thanks!
You are very welcome. I don't think you'll see much of a difference between those two options. But you can certainly test it. If you do - let me know how it goes.
Hello, I have a question that no one could answer till today : Do you have to complete the learning phase in order to get consistent sales? If you dont get the 50 sales in a week it means you'll keep getting inconsistent sales? And finally, can you do like One week of testing and then the week after go for the 50 sales or do you need to achieve it during the very first week of the adset? thank you !
Hey Ben, Thanks for great content as always. I have a small question regarding FB business manager currency. Is there any difference in ad performance, if we run the add in USA with some another currency instead of USD or vice versa.
Thanks a lot.
Nope :)
Another great vid Ben - cheers!
Would it be a good idea to have a different campaign for each individual country? e.g UK, USA, Canada etc...
...I was wondering if interest targeting would differ in each country?
Likewise, if my email list is mainly from the UK, could I do lookalikes of that for different countries? (or, because the source audience is from the UK - the lookalike will only work in the UK?).
Cheers in advance.
Eddie
Thanks Eddie.
I would usually combine them into one ad set - you can use breakdown to see where the best results are coming from. But that is personal preference.
Yes you can create lookalikes in any country from a source audience based in the UK.
Awesome video, one Question, Another one of your videos you recommended 2-3000 page likes first. So then after getting the likes would you run your conversion campaign straight away? I've seen others recommending warming up the audience first with views or traffic.
Great question - I would run a conversion campaign straightaway - as soon as you have warmed up the Page with the likes campaign :)
@@BenHeath Thanks Ben
Hi Ben great video really helpful. I was wondering where that link was for Facebook audience insights. I have a coaching business around children and adults and would like to understand my consumer more apart from the generic of them having children.
Thanks a lot. Here you go: ruclips.net/video/NzSkAZHxWcs/видео.html
Hey Ben is this method outdated? If so is there an updated video to conversions like this video? Thanks… your channel is legit.
No we still use this approach :)
Hey mate, great video. I’ve got a question on setting up conversion events for hospitality businesses though - how would I go about actually doing that for a restaurant? They have a pixel installed from before lockdown when we started work, but I’m unsure which page this is installed on as the developer did it.
They’re a relatively new client coming out of Lockdown and they’ve just given us access to a 2nd venue. We want to generate sold solid booking numbers to give them a great month back in business so ultimately we can keep on boarding their remaining venues.
Thanks mate.
Hi Jordan, I'd probably keep it simple and install the lead event code on the thank you page people are taken to after they enquire. Or even track bookings through the software they use.
Ben Heath awesome mate - I appreciate it!
I could see it working earlier while doing some stuff for their re-launch so I’m pretty happy it’s still gathering data.
Would it be easy enough to install the Event Code on the thank you page by myself mate? Might be a little faster than relying on the developer at the moment
Hi Ben thanks another great teaching!
I'm confused on the detailed targeting expansion.
At about 15:40 you turn back on the detailed targeting expansion. If I recall correctly, in some of your teaching, you said at the start of the campaign you would leave this option off. But you will turn this option on if you want to scale the campaign or after you've accrued some conversions and turning on this option after that would be timely as FB would know the type of audience to look for in the next expanded realm of audience.
Could you kindly clarify?
Thanks once again!
Hi Kym, yes that's correct. However, I will now also turn this feature on in a brand new campaign if the ad account already has quite a lot of conversion data.
@@BenHeath Thanks for the confirmation and all the efforts in creating so many useful videos!
@@BenHeath Haha I forget to ask in this instance why did you turn on this feature as the video demonstration seemed to show that you were creating a brand new account from the start?
Hi Ben, great video as always.
I have one question.
Lets say I use the conversion objective towards a cold audience and then wants to retarget them (everyone who visited my website for example). Which objective should I use when retargeting them? I'm thinking Reach should be a good option since I can choose frequency for example. But is that right/wrong or is there a better way to go?
Thanks!
Thanks a lot :)
I would go with conversions when it comes to retargeting. Conversions also helps optimize for things like the best time of day to deliver ads and the best placement options - not just who to target within your audience.
Ben Heath great thanks for the answer!
I have a $28 book. I am selling along with multiple up sells.
Should I run an omnipresent campaign to create a warm audience and then advertise my direct offer to them?
Or should I just include a warm audience in my ad set of the direct offer campaign?
Can I use Facebook for conversation objective if I am running, add the first time?
And I have another doubt is that I don't have any website and I wanted to do lead generation, based on your guidance I use conversation objective to get leads through messenger. In such case as I am using messenger as my landing page I don't want to add pixel right?
Can I do it or can you suggest me something which is a right way?
Hi Ben, thanks for the video.
For multiple conversion campaigns is there an additional setting needed to track the campaign from which the events took place?
As in how to know if the event happened from a particular facebook adset?
Hi Rohan, you should be able to see that data in your ad account already. You can see all the necessary data at the ad set level
@@BenHeath I have seen the pixel for events fire even when I visit the website from another other than the ad itself. So doesn't it get counted as well? Am I missing something?
Hi Ben, how about those pixel training stuff...people said need to have 50 conversions weekly before it gets optimize..
You need 50 conversions per week to optimise fully. But a partially optimised conversions campaign with less volume than that will nearly always outperform other campaign types.
Hey Ben would you still recommend a conversion campaign with a brand new website and pixel? Or traffic first and then campaign after a while? Thanks!
I'd still start with conversions :)
Hi Ben, I have binged your videos several times. Thank you for the invaluable information.
I set up my FB Ad Campaign as you instructed, and have run it for almost 1 week, but my Delivery is saying Learning Limited. I understand this to mean, or verify, that the status is going to learning limited because it is unlikely to receive around 50 optimization events in the week.
Can you possibly offer any advice on how to fix whatever is causing limited optimization? And/or does your firm offer paid assistance to fine-tune campaigns?
Thank you!
Awesome - glad to hear it.
I wouldn't worry about learning limited. The only way to guarantee you'll fix the problem is to generate 50+ optimization events per week. To do that you will most likely need to increase your budget and that's not worth doing until your campaign is proven to work.
Basically anything you do to fix learning limited, usually does more damage to your campaign than leaving it as is for the timebeing. You'll come out of learning limited naturally as you progress.
@@BenHeath Thanks Ben. Unfortunately, my campaign can't prove to work because FB is showing false Purchase and Add To Cart quantities. Any ideas why?
Hi Ben, I really like your Vids as they are super valuable & I have recently subed to your Channel. Can you kindly make a video primarily related to Shopify Dropshipping(Ecom) & how to test products fast with FB Ads & then finding winners for SCALING. That would be really helpful.
Great suggestion!
Awesome video. I had two ads running and I was getting no results. In 3 days of running one had spent $0.96 and the other one $1.01. In 3 days! When I was going through them, the quality ranking was bottom 10% and engagement ranking was similar. Conversion ranking was no better!! How is this even possible? Could you do a video on this. And should I edit these ads or start afresh?
Thanks a lot. That sounds like your campaigns weren't set up properly - perhaps your targeting options were too restrictive.
Hello Ben, I'm a beginner, just getting started with a Shopify store, and have been looking for good information on facebook Ads. Is the information in this video still relevant? Or would you suggest a newer video you have made?
Hi Ben, could you talk more about the conversion events? I linked my pixel and when I choose lead, but it keeps warning me. Some of the events look similar to me like check out, payment kind of do the same thing with lead. So what are their difference?
Great suggestion and I have already recorded a video on conversion events. It will be published next Wednesday I believe :)
This is so insane. I’m creating my first conversion campaign right now and your email pops up!!
Awesome - perfect timing.
Hi Ben,
Love your videos, They have helped a lot lately, I have a question for running campaigns. I have a small e-commerce website selling different lifestyle accessories. Should I make one CBO Campaign creating different ad sets for different products or i should make different campaigns for each product with different target audience ad sets. I am a skeptical if i make campaigns for each product, my budget would go out of hand. Please suggest.
I would use one campaign per product range :)
I have an ecommerce site well. Do you recommend splitting the product categories into a campaign for example tops and bottoms in each and use a range of tops such as sweaters and tshirts in one ad set?
Great content and easy to understand ! I do have one question tho, how does Facebook charge you when you run a conversion campaign?
Does it count the number of people who have reached the specific goal ? Or is there any other way that facebook charges ?
Hi George, Facebook's default is to still charge you on an impression basis - as with other campaign types.
@@BenHeath Cheers for the reply . So that means if the user doesn't finish the the process you still get charged, right?
Love you
