Shocking Islamist Marches Have Germany on Edge

- The Islamist group Muslim Interaktiv has sparked outrage and fears in Germany after organizing large rallies calling for the establishment of an Islamic caliphate under sharia law in the country. Their first protest on April 27th in Hamburg saw demonstrators waving Palestinian flags while demanding a "righteous caliphate.” Though classified as an extremist organization by authorities, Muslim Interaktiv was allowed to hold another rally on May 11th attended by 2,300 people under strict conditions like banning calls for violence and denying Israel's existence. Interior Minister Nancy Faeser commented on the rally stating, "Anyone who would rather live in a caliphate, and therefore in the Stone Age, is against everything that Germany stands for. We defend our constitution - with the means of our constitution." The controversial marches, occurring amid Israel's deadly conflict with Hamas in Gaza, have heightened tensions, with Chancellor Olaf Scholz vowing to use all legal means to crack down on "Islamist activities" promoting anti-democratic extremism that Chancellor Alexander Dobrindt described as making Muslim Interaktiv "an enemy of our democracy."

I have a very very very bad feeling about what's going on at the moment. I am a non religious jew. From a holocaust family. Usually wide spread anti semitism is portent about some bad things will be happening soon. Even back in the 90s I was very concerned with trends so much so my plan was to get out. My plan was either Israel or south Korea. Because of a bad choice relationship I never left. Even then I thought the issues were two or three generations away. I kind of went to sleep after 2002 and lost touch of what was going on. October 7th has opened my eyes that things are far worse here in the uk than I dared fear. Ditto in usa. But I have a very bad feeling things are going to go catastrophic within 5 to 10 years. Our woke marxist elites are insane. In the uk I wouldn't be shocked now if they allow islamists to arm themselves lol. That's how insane the elite is now I realise. I am running to Israel. I would go to far east of just me. But as I have a son I will have to go to Israel to give him an escape route if uk falls

regarding to defense against Islamism in Germany the problem is only focused on the far right. Yes the far right is a problem, but nobody is monitoring the far left and the Islamist's. In is very difficult to challenge those people because every criticism against political Islam and the far left will be framed as racism.😪😪😪

I have concerns about moderation. How is moderation managed by social media companies? Do they hire localised moderation teams? And is this part of why we’re are not seeing removal of extremist content swiftly enough? I worry that although the content may assist in identification of individual extremists, and often to see patterns of extremism; that by leaving this in the hands of ‘community moderators’ may be a significant factor in the spread of extremism at this stage. Anyone have thoughts on this? @AtheistRepublic would you consider doing a show on this topic?

presence of power means presence of oppression - that’s an oversimplification. The basis of the Marxist paradigm is that capital or money or land etc. is ‘power’ - this CAUSES INEQUALITIES in terms of the same capital and that this inequality in terms of capital results in oppressors and oppressed. Gramscian woke stuff is a tributary of this main river that adds attributes of oppressors/oppressed to groups of people based on (sometimes alleged) history. So the fundamental problem with Marxist thought is not that power means oppressed/oppressor BUT that everyone has to be perfectly equal in capital/power for there to be true justice. This idea is questionable
