For those who do not yet know how to get rid of a lot of information in the HUD:
Enter a race (I did it in a free practice, in the middle of the main race the option is locked), go to screen settings, enter customize HUD. A screen full of information will appear, but you have to choose the "race" option below, lower left corner will tell which screen you are configuring. Then choose you want to take it off the screen and click on it. When you do this, a screen will appear in the middle saying remove, opacity and contrast (something like that). Just press remove and it will leave the screen.
W vid! Hey I have a video/series idea, where instead of just doing race recreations, you do a whole season recreation. Maybe a Fernando Alonso, or a Checo Perez, or maybe even a back marker season like a “What if Logan Sargeant was actually good” or something like that. Just an idea, but keep up the vids!

f1 23s graphics system makes this look so real
Not really, on PC there's some pretty bad graphical issues, it seems lower resolution and the LOD system is terrible.

@@bolty4102 Yeah the PC graphics are fucking impossible to make them look normal. It's so grainy even without any upscaling, DLSS, etc etc

Try controlling the power when you’re going from second to third, early shift is perfect, just getting on the power a bit fast and early when you’re in third, causing the rears to spin out every shift into third, costing you around 0.4% tire ware per lap. Also when you’re coming through tabac it’s a quicker shift into 4th then bang on the gas, don’t be scared of the TC losing control in that corner of you like engine breaking you can play with the setting and you won’t even have to break for the corner if your line is perfect, other then that great racing loved the vid watched it minute for minute. Hehe keep em coming

I think for realism it would be more realistic to have halo off because that’s how the drivers see it in real life right?
I feel like the eye tracker kinda negates that, as well as a VR headset would.

Normally 100 but I turn it down a little for Monaco!
@@SoapSimRacer nice. Im getting there also. Best i can do here is 1:11.7 Against 90 AI for 100% race with no assists on controller. Hope to get a wheel and pedals soon

It surprises me, why you´re not in F1 official sim racing ..... All those guys play with tv cameras, huds, extra mirrors and another bullshit things .....
This is how a real man use an F1 simulator !

You can change how much the driver looks into the apex on settings. Think it's the very last option on camera settings.

The halo is so annoying, f for drivers
seeing through 2 eyes in real life will make it seem like the halo isnt there, but in the game with 1 eye, the halo will be in the way, try putting your hand about a foot away from your face sideways, and you will be able to see through it
I’m sure Lewis and Charles are very happy the Halo is there or else they’d be dead
After playing iracing.. I went back and tried F1 22. And holy is it garbage. To a point where its not even enjoyable. So glad i'm not going to be wasting my money on that garbage.
