30k subs!🥳 thank you so much!!!😇 celebrating with another challenge 🙈 have you tried this challenge already? What’s your experience with it? I feel like it helps me to focus more while I am practicing - how about you? Tell me in the comments!❤️😇
Congrats to the 30k, just please don't hire some professional editor, I love this channel just how it is now, with your thoughts and music :)
I was wondering about this challange but if I were to try it with this diffuculty and same results, it would be
1 month 10 month 10 year :D
(And I would try it with the A minor Piano Concerto by Grieg, but for You I still suggest the Op.48 No.1 Nocturne by Chopin 🙃)
I’m going to try this challenge too and will make a video I think! Mine will probably be embarrassing to watch though (especially after only 1 min and 10 min practice) as I’m an amateur piano player and need much longer time to practise a new piece...
Felicidades. Este año planeo pedirle a mi profesora de piano que me deje tocar esta sonata. (Congratulatios. This year I'm planning to ask my piano teacher to let my play this sonata.)
(sorry for my English. I'm from Latinoamerica and my English is a bit "oxidized")
Congratulation!!! Please somethine keep do the tip/trick videos!!! I love you moah moah
@Air Zed I am editing everything on my own :) Glad you like it!:)
Being annoyed by playing slowly? Yes.
Talking to myself whilst playing? Yes.
Little German outrages? Yes.
A new tutorial on that topic? Yes.
More of those challenges? Yes.
Great videos. Really appreciate your content. Keep up the good work!:)
I wanna try this challenge but I also don't want to destroy my confidence level hahahahj how can she sight read so perfectly her 1 minute is like a couple of days for me lol :D
That's normal ^^ she is a pro☺
Solfeggio is the key! You can achieve it just as any other spoken language! Read the black dots just as you would read a text book. It requires time, just like kids learn to read books! 😉
Relatable
TRUE
Can u make this chellenge with the Piece, "Ballade No1 in G minor op23 of Chopin?
Omg that would be great! That piece is so beautiful
She already knows how to play it so wouldn’t fit the challenge
A tutorial showing how to analyse the harmonic structure of a piece would be amazing!
these imperfections are perfect. the help me understand that it takes time to learn these pieces. i get caught up seeing people play flawlessly all the time.. it is refreshing to be able to observe your practice.. thank you for that
.... peace
I love watching these - you have a terrific sense of humor, and we've all been there with the sight-reading struggles. Would still love you to take a crack at 106/IV! Even just to the first episode!
"Nein, nein, nein.. ich brauch die eins" 😂
Jupp, das ist mir auch im Kopf geblieben 😅
This is so good I want to cry. THANKS!
Agree
Ein Vorbild für jeden!!! Bitte mach weiter!!!🎹
find ich auch ;) Weiter soo
This is such a POSITIVE piano channel :) i like your style. It motivates me to practice more and try to understand piano "things" more :) thanks and greetings from SLOVAKIA :))) p.s. and you are so funny :D you makes me instant smile
You have no idea how liberating it is to watch a pro like you learning a piece from the beginning and making mistakes like the rest of! Thank you SO much from a northern neighbor in Denmark ❤
I love that you put yourself out there...warts and all, and congratulate you for doing so. Most artists would not do this. You are helping all of us who struggle with pieces like this and believe that virtuosos like you instantly play everything to perfection on first try. And by the way, you are a wonderful pianist!!
Is no one going to talk about how she's playing classical music with a Gun's N Roses T-shirt?
These types of videos inspire me to play piano even though I don’t know anything about piano... I will learn 💪
Your sense of humor is unreal. I only found out about your channel this morning and already binge watched every video :D I love your videos, I hope you can keep doing what you are doing with your channel, it is amazing :) ~stay safe~
Me too!
One of my favourite movements of any piece - the melody, flow and chord progression is beautiful and punctuated by typical Beethoven surprises - you did a wonderful job of learning it in such a small amount of time. Instead of nominating another piece to learn in one hour, I would love to see what you do with this sonata in a week and then in a month and then in a year after you have performed it for people a few times. It would be great to see your new technical and interpretative insights develop as you look at it in more depth over time. Thank you also for your video on fingering concepts - I’m not a pianist - but I write songs on the keyboard - I play with unconventional fingerings (some of which I discovered from your video are more logical than I thought) - your explanations were excellent and very helpful. I wish you the best with your performing career.
I don´t know why is so funny to me that Annique is so focused, the temporizer rings and she freaks out hahahaha
I love her jumps every time the timer rings ahah anyway the idea of having a tutorial explaining armory structures and how to recognize them on the score would be amazing!
Greetings from Russia. I really love your videos. I also want to learn how to play, now I understand that even professional pianists do not play perfectly right away, this thought gives me the opportunity to grow in my hobby. Thank you!
These 1-10-60 minute pieces are really wonderful things. On one level it's fun to watch how well you can take on a piece in an hour, and it is nice to watch people with talent do their thing. On a different level it demonstrates hard work and many hours of dedication, and just how much time it really takes to become "expert" at this and many things in life. Having persistence is the only thing that really will get us there. And thanks for doing so much in English for USA subscribers.
I often talk to my self... you're brilliant! You are practice so good! WOW!!!
I avoid pretty much all practice videos, but these are oddly cathartic. I think I like them because she approaches material she doesn't know, and she gives us insight into her process and fallibility, things that most (all?) classical musicians avoid.
Love the guns and roses T-shirt 💞❤💕
I am not a pianist but have deep appreciation for how wonderfully you present this material. To my mind this is a perfect RUclips channel. You personally are engaging and, of course, exceptionally talented. You share something out of your own mastery, but you do so with freshness and humor. I hope you'll keep doing this.
I started playing the piano for the first time in my life last Monday, and I'm currently learning this piece. It's quite complicated, but I'm managing. I learned the Passacaglia as my first piece, and I'm playing the beginning of it now. I can't do more because my synthesizer is too small. Despite all that, this piece is absolutely beautiful.
Such a beautiful piece
Ist wahrscheinlich mein absoluter Favorit ! Einfach atemberaubend schön wie das Stück unter die Haut geht!!
This is my favorite piano piece and seeing you just completely play all of that in one hour is amazing and mindblowing to me
my favourite pianist, hope you stay healthy and happy!
This is pure skill, amazing!
This is my favourite Sonata of Beethoven. You inspired me to learn it , and I'll try your method! Thank you!
You're SO GOOD!!!
It's fascinating seeing you learning that much in just an hour.
I know I've commented this before but you should try Liszt's "Un Sospiro". It's one of my favorite pieces
Good job, Annique! I discovered you and your channel some days ago by chance: you are very nice and really really good! Beethoven is always Beethoven. You made a miracle in just one hour: congratulations!
You are amazing!!!! I love these 1,10, and 1hr videos.
8:50 I can so relate to the "Whatever" 😅
I Love your work in piano
Amazing ! I wanna learn this piece so badly. Watching your videos is more realistic as I can see how you practice ✔️👏👏🔥😀tx for sharing 🥰
You Are My Favorite Pianist ❤❤❤❤❤ I Love Your Smooth Piano 💖🎹
Your 1min is a summary of my entire musical life
i love your humor: beethoven said Bruuh! Thank you for your work.Always very interesting.
OMG! I love this challenge. You play the piece in 10 minuts like I play a piece afer a week practicing 🤣🤣🤣
Oh heck yes, Tempest is my fav sonata of his.
Anik analysing a piece: laaaaaa la la la laaaaa la la la
Me: relatable😅
😂
Anique❤....u rock
Your 16mins is so fun to wacth, equally as educative and inspiring......again,congrats on 30k
I love how when she was performing after one minute it changed from classical to jazz
Always enjoy these challenges. Keep them coming!
Really enjoy these challenge videos. I watch these with my kids as they enjoy piano music, and it's great to show them you don't start off being good and practicing is part of the journey. This video highlights for my kids the improvements what practice can achieve. Thank you!
Your practising is really helping me to understand body movement! I don't concentrate on making fingerings effortless and finding the right arm gestures, which you do from the start!
My favorite Beethoven sonata!
Somehow you’ve managed to become a phenom! I’ve watched you literally go from 1000 subscribers to where you are now and I find it incredible how you’ve done it so quickly 😳 you’re content is awesome though so you deserve it all
Hi, I love your videos, you play so beautifully!! I studied piano for four years when I was in school and then had to drop it for almost five years, now i'm starting again and it's been very difficult but also very exciting, your videos help me a lot to remember things, to learn new things and to learn to study by myself, specially now that a I can't afford piano lessons. I would love a video of harmonic structure analysis hahah thank you, greetings from Chile!
Wtf already 30k i subbed you only had 100 subs your progression is incredible congratulations annique 😘
Solche Videos motivieren mich irgendwie total wenn ich ein neues Stück kriege. Mach weiter so🥰
How do you only have 30k subs 😭😭 you deserve way more 😭
i just wanna say i love you and ur content!! i learn so much while being entertained!! thank you so much!!
It would be cool to see this challenge with one of Gershwin's preludes.
Another great video, I love those
Also would love to see liszts second ballade with that challenge
Best 2021 youtuber ♥️♥️♥️
You literally have the ability to play at the first try what i have been learning for 1 week. You are incredible keep doing it!! :)
I like how you added serenade for the doll as your background music! I’m playing that piece for my senior recital! Please do Reflets dans l’eau or Jardins sous la pluie by Debussy!!
The jumpscare everytime the alarm goes off makes me wonder how she wakes up every morning, must be a terrible start of the day for her, lol.
Woouu you are amazing!!
FANTASTIC!!!!!!! i hope you practice all of these and perfect them......this is wonderful!!!!
I live for your jumps every time the timer goes off lol it's my favorite.
Subscribed because struggle is real.
You are too cute for words always on the verge of cracking up. And incredibly brave for doing these drills. I'm still working on my left hand operating independent of my right. What a challenge (I'm 5 weeks into my learning.)
You are so humble, you remind me of a older sister I’ve never had. 🌷 Keep up the great work 🎉
your influence on my practicing is what I have hoped for, for a quite a long time. Your insights are amazing and are being presented in a most helpful and understandable manner, Thank you.
One last insight into my thinking, like Cesar, Beethoven, though brilliant was only one man, do not let any of his confusion to be your confusion if you can help it, Your manner (on Video, I have not seen you in person) is exceptional.
Would love a tremolo tutorial it's driving me crazy! Thanks (Pathetique 1st movement)
Can you please HUNGARIAN RHAPSODY no.2 of Liszt
How about an episode of how much of your challenge pieces you've retained. Show us a quick, 2-minute refresher for yourself, and then perform. Remember, we watch you because we care. And because we like to see you suffer. We care about your suffering. ;)
Your musicallity is great.
Love the edition of your videos, it makes me smile and laugh everytime :)
Congrats for 30k👏
wow! you're very good! it sounded beautiful
Chopin ballade no.1 op. 23 would be cool btw love this series
Loved the pop up of Beethoven saying “Bruh”…you are hilarious! (And amazingly talented of course!)
I love u ma’am, you’re the best. Keep up the great job I am inspired with your playing. I hope I can progress more. I am 27 year old man and I am a total beginner (2 weeks ago since I got my digital keyboard), I am just a self-learner of piano (youtube is my source of learning) who mistakenly learns River Flows by Yiruma to begin with. Oh well I started it already so no time to give up.
Very like your videos and your smile. Thank a lots.
Every time i see how can she learn piano pieces i feel that i want to cry
Awesome challenge 👍🏽
You are gorgeous !!
Kiss from France 🇫🇷
Seriously you're a genius It's so hard to sight read in 1 minute and play a page
So talented 😳
Nowhere near trying this challenge with pieces of this level, but seems like an interesting way to stay focused initially. That being said... I come here for the timer jump scares. Get this every time I get an SMS while practicing..
Also playing Serenade for the Doll atm, nice choice for the interlude music :D
Finally, I was alone without your videos
I was liked and subscribe @Annique. Always Success 🙏
I love this format so much!
I guess I haven't watched all your videos because I got really excited when it was suggested to me. I love this piece, and I am continuously waiting for the next best interpretation of it. Your video will help me a lot when I finally have the confidence to learn it. 😂
Hi Annique 👋🏻😀
This is one of those pieces that feels like a cool breeze whilst listening but so puzzling when playing in real. In spite of a limited time period you have done quite a commendable job in learning how to play it the way it was intended to. Must say that you have done something that I can't even perfect the half in six months time. So, in that case bravoooooo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😊😊😊
Also, as far as I have seen the best interpretation of this movement was done by none other than the late legendary pianist Wilhelm Kempff for a TV broadcast in Paris in 1960's; the video of which is available on RUclips I reckon. So, if you have some time kindly do check it out. I'm quite sure that his version will help you a lot in understanding this marvelous piece much better.
Hoping to see more challenges like these from you soon. 🤗😊
Regards and best wishes from a new fan of yours 💐🤗
Really entertaining to watch
Beautifully played challenge once again, by a beautiful an humorous lady!🥰
Thank you!
I just recently done this took me 3 months!!! That was super good at 1 hour.
Two thumbs down? Really? Who in their right mind could give a thumbs down. Must be jealous of your ability.
To be honest you deserve more subscribers
I would love to see you play Beethoven’s Sonata number 18, unofficially known as “The Hunt”. I’m interested in the 2nd movement, the scherzo.
i watch yous chanel from Brasil
congratulation for the 30 k subs
