1 Minute, 10 Minutes, 1 Hour Challenge Chopin Nocturne op.72 no.1
@@alperenpiano I've been working on that song for months now and her perfectly sight-reading it in 1 hour would put me to shame hahaha
@@ethanmorris
I worked on this song, great song I agree with you, it would be funny
This challenge reminds me of trying to learn a piece just before my piano lesson after not practising all week.
YES!!! I know EXACTLY what you mean, believe me!
this also reminds me the moment I dont dare to see my teacher's face after me playing poorly on the piece I started practicing 1 hour before my lesson
Mozart composing the overture the day of performance
Lucky you get to practice before your piano lesson straight after school I go piano lol
AHH!! THE WORST FEELIMG EVER
Sight-reading skills: OUT OF THIS WORLD WTF
naw, this is her equipment. I don't have 100K to buy a decent grand piano :)
I don't think you need 100k to learn sight reading.... And a real musician is someone who could make admirable music on any piano... Even if it's out of tune... Or do you think Schubert's home concerts were always on expensive ones?
@@pantherg4236 i hope you are trolling :)
@@schraderclemens6122 Someone understand sarcasm here :) Was just trying to light up the holiday spirit. One great thing about music is that I don't need to learn to appreciate. Of course, that is not hard when you have amazing ppl doing amazing things.
@@pantherg4236 I see. I fall into the sarcasm trap... need a warning sarcasm button XD Anyway wish you great holidays :D...
The 2:3 polyrhythm took me almost a month to perfect and you nailed it in an hour 😔
Congratulations if you made it finally work. I still cant handle it. I need to really Work on it, because this is a very beautiful piece. It will be worth the effort.
Perhaps you need more practice in general with that rhythm... try playing the rhythm and using counting devices before you even play this piece. It's not meant to be that hard once you know it...
once you get triplets down tho you have them for life:)
How long have u been playing piano?
RIGHTTT
i just found you in my recommended and I’m obsessed
Saaaaaame here !!! I'm both in love and obsessed ❤🙌
Me too lol 😂❤️
Same😂
sameee
Obsession and “ love (?), wrong mix, not a good duo, seems to me.
So crazy how you handled the triads so easily in your first try...that was the part that I had to practice the most with this piece :o
Also, try Chopin's first Balade for the Challenge, it is personally my favorite piece for the piano :)
@@jakobschulze7440 ooo I’ve just started learning that - do you know what the average age is to learn the Ballade in G minor?
@@dharmamuthalagappan5157 Nah..I think it depends ...so... I learned piano mostly myself and I'm 18 now...but I think I'm also not quite on the level for the piece...it's gonna be interesting :)
You mean the triplets?
Im playing the piano for 14 yrs and I still would need 2 days for your 1 minute...
And I think you’re being way too harsh to yourself! You’re awesome!
I am gobsmacked at what an amazing sight reader you are. You never look at the keys! Wow. Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge.
Wonder why this channel is not famous. This is insane, practicing for 1 and getting it done so well. Appreciate it much
I am telling all my friends ....
This piece is so beautiful, it sounds like watching a waterfall
As a newbie piantist, this helps me a lot to understand how to approach a new piece before playing it, what to look for and what to fix, It's not only entertaining to watch the video but you're also teaching stuff at the same time, thank you. :^)
Can you read sheet music?
is that important? asking for a friend lol 😂@@kyroking9934
Next challenge: hungarian rhapsody no. 2
Completamente de acuerdo :3
Dios te BEnDiga
Would be funny
Legit, just try it for shits and giggles and everyone will come gawking 😂
Estaría interesante 😯👍😀
Yeeeees 🎉
Maybe Kriesler/rachmaninoff's Liebeslied or liebesfrued could be a nice challenge video idea. Really enjoying your videos!
@bob by my bad. I mix up letters sometimes
Yes please Liebesleid
Omg please Liebesleid it‘s my favorite piece
Aa yes, I absolutly adore the piece ✨✨✨
@@kurisarm5828 so unbelievably difficult to play though :(
Not many musicians would be willing to put themselves under the pressure of others performance expectations, even in the spirit of good fun. I am truly impressed how you learned what you did in just over an hour. Well done!
On your repertoire list, you have the Kalkbrenner concerto. I never heard of that composer, but my piano dealer sent me a link to your performance on a double Pleyel piano (that's how I learned of you). A masterful performance, bravo!
Table tennis and piano, the best combination
I'm learning this song right now and your 10 minutes is like my 2 weeks
Just make sure you finish on de Bach, never finish on Debussy. Anyways, awesome work, you are one hell of a piano player. Keep it up!
Hahahaha I love that family guy episode 😂👍🏻
@@heartofthekeys Awesome! I wasn't sure if anyone would get the reference, as a Family Guy fan it was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw your video title :D.
*audience applause* *throws flowers* HAHAHAHA
I came here for this comment 😂
You’re talented; you’re beautiful; your English is very good; you share your passion with the world. Just want to say thank you. Only a tuned piano missing to make it perfect. Kisses from Portugal.
Editing the one-minute-part must've been a pain ^^ The concept hasn't gotten old yet, it's really fun to watch! :)
I love your content and this piece! I have been learning it myself :D looking forward to the next video.
Can't wait to see your channel get bigger and bigger, danke for the video!!
I've seen a few of these challenge videos now and it's astounding how fast you take in new pieces! I have a feeling I'll be sticking around to see what other fantastic videos you make.
I started watching your videos like 2 days ago and you suddenly upload one of my favorite classical pieces to this series. Nice.
man your channel is starting blowing up. Good for you!
Oh my god, you are fantastic, as soon as i saw the video i cliked it and i knew it was going to be good :). Keep up the great work!
That’s quite a beautiful piece 👏 bravo!
Omg, I love this piece. I found your channel about 3 days ago, and I was scrolling through your page looking for more of these challenges. I LOVE to see the process. I hope you can do more or these.😍🎹 Thanks for this one.
What a genius, you inspire me to continue studying and practicing day by day
Thumbs up! Hope you enjoy doing these cause I like watching them haha. Can't go wrong listening to great music. Also really enjoy the comments and captions
omg, your channel is amazing!! Please keep doing these kind of videos and challenges... oh and the fact that your practices of 1 and 10 minutes are so productive is mind-blowing!!
The piano playing is gorgeous, the editing is pure and comical - all round superb 👏🏼
simply incredible the talent you have, this is the reason why i keep watching youtube
Your films encourage me to practice the piano pieces, thank you!
It is so good to see the hard work that is required to make music - and this is so much more than just playing the keys.
Thank you for the music!
i love that you put all the tips that you use, i been playing piano for 5 years and i still struggle with practice so it's really helpful for me, also you are amazing
You are truly inspirational. Thanks so much for your insight into the energy and weight of each finger. All the best for you, Annique
this is one of my favorite piece!! thank you, Annique
I love this piece so much! Thanks a lot for the nice Christmas gift
This is simply amazing.... not only this would have to motivate with intense focus but it was a lot of pleasure to watch. Love it....
Loving this series!!!
you over there learning whole pieces in 1 hour, me over here who needs several days to get my left and right hand together 🤷
i really enjoy your videos! you are a great player, keep up the great work!
just followed you recently and been really enjoying your vids of the 1/10/60 challenge! having a view of your practice routine has been so insightful. learnt so much about productive practicing from you already (not to mention, technique building). pls do more of these!!
I love these!! Keep doing what you're doing. These videos inspire me to keep practicing and learning about music.
I recently started to watch your videos (found your channel 3 days ago) and also during this week, I have been listening to Debussy's Arabesque. What a coincidence! 😮
Your videos are so useful as well as entertaining. I've never had a piano lesson so it's great to see how you approach pieces.
When sight read I also tend to glue my face to the score 😂
I’m new to piano so could you explain to me what a score is? I’m always confused when people mention it!
@@divineajuzie2598 score is just another word for sheet music 😁
Hey Annique, I usually don't comment but I just randomly came across your channel 2 weeks ago and been hooked ever since. I am currently studying abroad and can't play on my piano and seeing you playing the piano rekindled my love for this beautiful music. I am happy to see your channel is getting the recognition it deserves since you gained a lot of subscriptions in the last days. Keep up the good content and your mood cause you have a really cool vibe and I hope you get to play concerts again soon so we might see you there too. Merry Christmas/Frohe Weihnachten! :)
Hey! I'm in the same situation as you.. Is there anything that you do to keep your pieces in mind or "practice"?
@@christiandesmarais4387 so far not but I was thinking of going to random music stores just to play on their pianos for a bit
Maybe considering buying a sort of keyboard? Second handed or smaller size, so save money and space, but you can have fun with it
Girllll~~
I am such already a big fan and just meet this channel yesterday, like...
_Cheers from Brazil
this is a beautiful piece! love this video
I love these types of videos from you !
I loved playing this piece so much! I was instructed to try it a bit slower than you for build up in the movement. It's so beautiful and you do it so wonderfully. Thank you!
the concept is simple, but iNtERestInG
Yesss I love these videos!! Motivates me to go practice :)
I love the way you learn about yourself, in that it teaches us all to look at ourselves. In other words we all have our faults! Beautiful and honest and that is why I like this video.
Good job presenting this video - it is a brave thing to do to give us such a revealing peek behind the scenes. Keep it up! It's inspiring for others. Alles gute!
You learned it so quickly, you are so talented! I love your videos! Keep going ;)
These kinds of videos are so good! really enjoyable and if you keep on posting videos you will definitely gain subscribers quickly because you have the potential!
This piece brings me back to the good ol' days of ABRSM practical exams. Love it!
Learning this one now! :) This is the second piece I have seen you do this challenge with which I've also been working on.
Loving the slippers! 😃 another great video!
woah this is awesome, you're super underrated!!!
Clicked for the Butterfly shirt, stayed to hear you practice.
That was beautiful. So very talented.
Your 1 hour improvements are mi 3 weeks. Took me a month to finish the piece, and I’m still trying to get it right.
You so good
This is a really good yt channel btw,
Keep it up :)
Excelent job!!🎉🎉👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This is actually my favourite piano piece!!! Great choice!
Great video again. As an amateur pianist it still baffles me to see what a combination of talent, a lot of practice and dedication to the craft can do. Your progress in an hour is absolutely incredible. Keep it up and hopefully the channel keeps growing at this rate! Merry Christmas!
Just decided to pick up this piece and here you are doing this challenge :) Ive not played the piano for almost 20 years and ive recently played again during the pandemic lockdown. Such a challenge as my fingers were so rusty but somehow managed to learn and complete my fav Claire De Lune albeit not very good at it lol This gives me inspiration..thanks!
I love these videos!!!! You're awesome:)
i love this concept! i feel as if i can connect to my childhood :’) thank you for posting this!
Hello, in January I started to practise Arabesque and I managed to nearly perfect it. Beautiful piece.
I love this series of videos, do it more often please.
i'm honestly surprised that you dont have ten times the subscribers. these videos are so high quality!
I think she has not been very long on RUclips, just recently started. But i assume it's also very time consuming to edit all the videos in that high quality and then focus on practicing of 12 Chopin Etude, and giving online courses and having a life xD...I think she is amazing.
So cool! Thank you for sharing your beautiful final performace
I'm so happy to see that there are no dislikes!

Hey hi there I am new to your site, just a short and sweet. love your humour and piano music choice Pactice was just what I needed to see as I am getting back into piano again!... stay blessed and fantastic!...
MERRY ALMOST CHRISTMAS! I’ve been learning this piece for the past month and her 10mins is 10x better than me already 🤣
I’m 1 second in but I just have to comment that I’m so excited for this video! I love this series of yours and Debussy’s my favorite! ✨🌻✨🌻✨
Edit: Amazinggg as always! 💕
Ah, one of my favorite pieces... You've learned it so well in such short time! And great work with the broken string, but the way. Greetings from Sweden!
I'm sure you won't see this because it's an older video, but thank you SO MUCH for doing some Debussy challenges! I almost exclusively play Debussy (not well rounded at all, but also I'm not a professional at all, so I do what I want haha) but I often feel bad about my level of playing because I have been at it for 20+ years and I don't have any virtuosic Romantic crowd pleasers to show off. Seeing you, who is 100x a better pianist than me, putting so much work and thought into one of Debussy's simplest pieces is so heartening and inspiring for me. Many a skilled pianist could sit down and get the notes down in an hour and show it off with no soul at all. But the hard part of Debussy *is* the delicate soul of the music and I appreciate you so so much for showcasing that!
One of my fav piece, thanks for this lovely challenge 🤍
I love to see that you are very bold to challenge yourself to master Arabesque in short period of time. 👍 I love this piece. It is not very easy to master
Gracias!!
AMAZING!!
You are amazing woman 😍😂
(Handclap) 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
thank you i learned so much from you, now i can practice and use my time more efficient 💞
always enjoying your videos🧡🧡
Fantastic! You also have some wonderful stereo spread on the recording also.
Damn, your videos are just amazing, this is real quality content, well edited, good sound, good camera, and amazing pianist, I really enjoyed watching this vid ! You're one of the first youtubers that I'll activate the bell ! I never do usually because I only want to see the important notifications :)
Thank you 🙏🏻😊
Just one word - Wonderful!
I would like to see you play Debussy and Arabesque No.1 without interruption But, anyway, you are wonderful !!!
Love this piece xx
Really entertaining!
Very brave of you to share this, bravo!
