The version in the video is the 1st version of new pax, they recently upgrade this new pax and now 2 wooden "biscuit" are included in the pack to prevent that the bottom panel slide in out. Before we're 2 plastic part on top of black legs that prevent to slide

It's not, newer Ikea furniture tends to be partially composed of cardboard.
It's lighter and will mostly function normally in typical conditions. But should you plan to do anything else with those (reinforce, modify, cut to let a pipe trough etc...) , forget about it...

@@theitaliantasker A new pax frame appears to be available for delivery in the US but it comes with a mounting rail. Did yours come with a rail? The part number in the new manuals is 10116976, 10116987, or 10117011 depending on the width of the frame. I expect the rail would add significant rigidity to the drywall if secured in place with snap toggle bolts or other heavy duty wall anchor. As typical with ikea instructions, there is no detailed instructions for what height to mount the rail at and I am having a hard time finding a video that shows how to install the rail.

I have just purchased five PAX wardrobes and, I must say, the Ikea designers have made an amazing job at simplifying the assembly process. It feels just as sturdy and solid but it takes a fraction of the time compared to the old system ... so much faster!
Once you get the hung with the first wardrobe, you can do the rest in no longer than 15/20 minutes each pack.

@@StMediaNL It did not go smoothly, but it wasn't tragic as well 🙃3 wardrobes came to me a few weeks back (8 sections in total). After the first section I set up, the rest went smooth. Then you need to level all sections, and fix them to the wall - and that is time-consuming - at least for me. Also installing all drawers, shelves etc. took more time than I thought it would. If you want to do one wardrobe, I say go for it! But if you have limited time and need to set up 3 wardrobes, I don't think it's worth it. So yeah, I think my wife was right after all, I should have hired a guy 😂

The thickness of it was about the same as the baseboard. Now in the US with the new system there is a metal bracket with its own pros and cons.

You need to adjust the feet at the front so the top of the wardrobe is pushed against the wall. Makes all the difference. If still too wobbly you need to screw it to the wall. It's by far the best thing to make it sturdy.
