hopefully, this will include the paratransit, a public service, that those of us who are disabled like myself, whom can’t drive, I am blind, the transportation company stinks at best for the transportation for those who are disabled, we have to try and remember 14 days in advance to make our transportation arrangements if we do not, then we cannot go to the doctor, that is the truth. I find it completely ridiculous. If I wanted to get my haircut, I can’t even do that, because paratransit won’t take us. This is highlands county, Florida, where I live. They need to work on public transportation systems for all, that’s what our country needs a better system.

How many more lanes do we need to build before we accept that adding lanes is not a long term solution to relieving congestion? How about fighting against our idiotic car brained infrastructure system and focus on efficient and effective public transportation (gasp) and human-centered, walkable & bike-able city design (the horror)?

When are they going to do something about malfunction junction? The project is in east Polk county and into Osceola county. Nowhere near I 275. And here in Riverview we have a seriously bad bottle neck and it is getting worse with the new high density apartment complexes being built. A judge has twice thrown out a half cent tax to make improvements.1st saying that the county council can't do it, the people have to. But then when the people did, he through it out anyway. It doesn't just affect the residents. It affects anyone driving through. On the freeway or 301.
