Thank you I’m 3 weeks in, and today my knee has been the tightest it’s been so much so that I’ve felt nauseous all day after my exercises, so ive spent the rest of the day icing it. I think I read somewhere that the 3rd week is harder for some reason, any ideas please ?

This sounds like the normal ebbs and flows of early rehab after surgery. There will be some good days and not so good days. I recommend staying the course with your exercises and the advice of your healthcare team. Don’t the highs get you too high and the lows too low. Best wishes in your continued recovery.

I did not have knee replacement surgery, but similar after car accident in which I broke my knee, and the rehab principles are probably mostly the same. I keep doing my stretches and therapy, but sometimes wonder if I am doing them enough or not enough.

Thank you for sharing… determining if you’re doing the right amount of activity is sometimes tough and will be a little different for each person. It can definitely take some guess and check. Try a certain amount and see how the body tolerates it… if ok try a little more, if it brings on symptoms ( pain, stiffness, etc) then back off some.
