It's exactly the same melody and rhythm in the English version. I rarely do, but I prefer Sharyn Scott's singing. She's got the power vocals to really carry the song
This song will forever be nostalgic for me, of the time when my cousin purchased the OST for the Tenchi Muyo show, then airing on Toonami on Cartoon Network, and me basically borrowing it forever and listening to it on repeat. You may be problematic Tenchi, but god darnit I love you!
Sorry, but I just can't stand the Japanese singer. She's got kind of a little baby voice and the English singer just sounded perfect. Also, the lyrics are better in the English version.
Cadê a galera do Brasil aqui marcando presença!? Viva os BRs... Hahahahah
This comment comes from a 27 years old kid from the 90's whos crying right now, thank you so much for unlock the most beautiful memories I've had ☺️❤️
Wow, I haven't heard this song in 15 years. Sure beings back pleasant memories. :D
Hits me right in the nostalgia
My childhood. Right here. And I ain't talkin' Toonami, I'm talkin' video rental
the Japanese version has so much rhythm && makes me feel like a kid again
It's a really wonderful song! One of the greatest pop songs of the 90s, in my opinion.

It's supposed to be a youngish voice because "Sasami" is the one singing it. It's supposed to be from her point of view. So it works that way.
