I love this song. The ending of Tenchi Universe still makes me tear up. I can feel Tenchi missing the girls, because we miss them too. And then when you see Ryoko as this song plays, it's pretty nice.
I remember hearing this song and thinking about a bright future. Now I look back at that feeling, and I wonder what would cause it today. Maybe it was the thought of Japan itself, which in the 90’s represented America’s future. Some of us expected the cultures to become one, to become greater together. It didn’t happen, but we both dreamed of it back then. I’m still in love with Japan, and Japanese culture.
