Origa's music is forever connected to ghost in the shell. Without her music the anime would simply not be the same. It sets the emotional scene in the beginning. It's fantastic. She died on 17th January 2015. But she lives on in her music as long as we listen to it and watch GITS.

Some things I love about the SAC series is The action is very fluid and fast unlike most action animes They do a great job of blending CGI with 2D animation with the Tachikomas I'm a big fan of Neo noir stories and this series is no exception. Motoko Kusanagi is a BADASS character with a tame but also a bit of a snarky personality.
My favorite anime shows are: Death Note, Code Geass, and Ghost in the Shell. I thought Attack on Titan would surpass because everyone worships it, but it just wasn’t the same as my top three. I guess it just wasn’t the vibe for me compared to DN, CG, and GITS.

I'll be honest, Ghost in the Shell never held much interest for me when I was younger. The plot seemed too complicated for me to follow, but every time it aired on Adult Swim I'd be sure to stay for at least the opening theme song, for the first and second ones.

Can't say that I'm a very sensitive person, but this part in russian beginning with "Za myechtoyu na kray propasti" almost every time causes a lump in my throat. It's very sad but at the same time it's full of optimism and hopes for a bright future. Of course, knowing about the sorrow fate of the performer adds emotion, and these words sound like her appeal to all of us, who is still alive and can do something good in this life. Very touching. This is the song everyone who considers themselves a solider, fighter, or warrior should listen to before you go to battle. It really pumps you up when you learn the translated lyrics. I miss her music so much...i still can't believe she's gone. there are so few artists in this genre and she was so perfect for it that it breaks my heart.

Ghost in the Shell introduced me to your music when I was just a wee lad, and I actually listened to your music, understood the lyrics (from translating), i remember staying up all night playing Metroid Prime listening to Rise on my mp3 player and those are some of my favorite memories. Your voice is so beautiful, and I will listen to you till it's my time. I still tell people about you to this day, you're now a beautiful angel and wish you were here still.

wow the duality of man I'm 19 and I used to watch ghost in the shell on adult swim in bits and pieces when I was supposed to go to sleep I never finished it though or watched it in any discernible order so I think I'll do that someday. This song though, its mesmerizing.

This music reminds me of a time that I fell in love with someone... Ironically her name was joy. Throughout what I've gone through, the love I felt for her, and what she showed me... Held me up a lot...
Weaknesses
I'll be honest, Ghost in the Shell never held much interest for me when I was younger. The plot seemed too complicated for me to follow, but every time it aired on Adult Swim I'd be sure to stay for at least the opening theme song, for the first and second ones.
It's a convoluted anime for everyone but amazing lol

Can't say that I'm a very sensitive person, but this part in russian beginning with "Za myechtoyu na kray propasti" almost every time causes a lump in my throat. It's very sad but at the same time it's full of optimism and hopes for a bright future. Of course, knowing about the sorrow fate of the performer adds emotion, and these words sound like her appeal to all of us, who is still alive and can do something good in this life. Very touching.

Эта часть одновременно и очень грустная, и полная оптимизма и надежды на светлое будущее. Безусловно, эмоций добавляет и знание о печальной судьбе исполнительницы, и эти слова звучат будто её обращение ко всем нам, кто ещё жив и может что-то хорошее сделать в этой жизни. Пробирает.
P.S. Also, there is a translation error. "Tvoy ogon' sogryevat' budyet tysuachi syerdets" means "Your fire will warm thousands of hearts", not "Your fire will be heated by thousands of hearts".

This is the song everyone who considers themselves a solider, fighter, or warrior should listen to before you go to battle. It really pumps you up when you learn the translated lyrics. Also RIP to Origa. I became a fan of hers and listened to a lot of her albums due to her work on GITS Stand Alone Complex.

+Anthony199717 08 Well, consider how the song mentions that we are soldiers who are both defendants and judges. Implying our actions are judged by others while we also judge (kill) others. Furthermore, it mentions how we rush forward to fight against lies; this would be a direct reference to (i suppose) the false wars we waged. Just my 2 cents, but this whole anime is probably how our near future will look like.
