I have been a seamstress for 40 years, and now a quilter. I ALWAYS learn something new when watching your videos. Even the small things like pressing toward the grain, not stretching fabric when sewing, and measuring your inner boarder are valuable reminders that need to be repeated for this old brain. Thank you for giving the joy of quilting to us. I love your videos ;)

Here is what I like about Jordan Fabrics' videos. They give you the 201 level info. I go to MSQC for the 101 level stuff and inspiration. But when it ends up a little wonky, I know I can turn to JF tutorials to try and figure out why. The explanation on the bias really did solve a lot of my problems. She has covered the topic briefly in other videos. The bias/ironing is absolutely why my new quilting adventure often ends up looking...hmmm...wobbly. I need to get on board with finger pressing. I also now really understand cutting and ironing on biased fabrics. Thank you for helping me take my new quilting habit to the next level. Onward and upward!

As a beginner, I thought I had done something wrong, but didn't know what it was. You explain things so well and you are always willing to share hints and tips. It means so much to those of us who don't have anyone to teach us. Thank you again and hugs from Ireland. xxx

Your tip to press in the direction of the grain when dealing bias edges makes so much sense. I wish I had known it when I was wrestling with a quilt that was all bias edges. The star could be enhanced by the quilting pattern, but it is fun to have to look for it.

What a Great Quilt. The way you sewed the strip sets, OMG the Kaleidoscope of colors bring an instant Smile! The combinations of color are excellent, (from your layout plan) & the layout, so balanced, so much movement for the eye. I can't help myself even on this phone screen.
What a great idea for gift's, & myself.
Simple, quick, fun, with modern fabric choices.
    Thank you Donna.
Well, your hole family does their part, I thank you all for doing the hard parts, (math, color, cuts, & layouts, filming probably 100 other things to keep your Ship Sailing in these "strange times"), & for giving fair warning of problems BEFORE they become an issue. All On Film.

Ironing on the grain is a great tip. I remember the days of circle skirts, when my mom taught us to iron only on the grain. You can really mess up a hem line if you forget. I love the colorful blocks. Thank you for saying that there are options with your designs. So helpful, and encourages creativity.

We made a "mystery quilt" last year using a full jelly roll and some girls used 4 different colours for the square. I used a gold and sliver. We had the diamond off centre. Using a jelly roll like this shows how versatile and easy it is to have a quilt look just that little bit different!

If you make a cotton quilt fabric top but want to use flannel as a backing is there anything you need to do for shrinkage? To wash or not to wash? Thanks Donna! 😃

Now I know exactly what to do with some tiny HST's I made while trimming corners on my last quilt, and I'm glad for that. This arrangement will be perfect.

Oops, forgot to say how much I love, love the feather fabric you chose for the backing. Will be checking your website on the first to see what colors that comes in and grab some before they are all gone! I like the blue background you chose (love Grunge). It doesn't contrast greatly with the KF fabrics, but that is not a bad thing, it makes the quilt very subtle and soothing even with the bright colors. He uses SO many bright colors that it would be hard to pick a color for high contrast unless you use black or white - which would be really nice too. Thanks again for all you do for us!
