    In this video, We take a look on one of the most realistic dragster concepts so far!
    The coaster will have a vertical spike up to 500 Feet, the track will be 3778 meters long.
    During the ride, you will experience the airtime 2 times forward and ones backwards, everytime with different g-forces!

    Excellent job! Very impressive. But the switch track will engage AFTER the Ridders are off, let me explain.
    We decided it'd be safer to launch the riders up the west side of the top hat first, and over the top, down the east side. That insures not such a long wait time.
    Then we speed through the old station up a "beyond vertical spike" about 120 degrees.
    That's the record we're going for, the height of the spike.
    Then when we go back down we stop at an exit station, and the train switch after you get off and back to the start.
    Those two bunny hills are in there, great representation of the ride!!!! We enjoy watching what you guys come up with

    Just imagine how terrifying it will be if we really do get a 400+ft rear vertical spike. I mean that's legit a bit nerve racking. I would say, that if they do this IRL, it will be more than twice the height of Pantheon's rear spike! I've been on over 600 coasters and I know I would pee a little lol. Yes I have been on tower of Terror in reverse at Dreamworld many years back and Superman at SFMM in reverse also. And going up the vertical towers of those rides backwards indeed WAS fun, but there's a big but........ Even though they are (were, in the case of TOT) near 400 ft, they really only go up half way. TOT in particular was really bad in the last 7 ish years of its life. This TTD would be completely different and go up high and fast. So something that actually shoots up 400 feet as the ground disappears below you, IS really nerve racking, especially the first time.
    Let's imagine what it would be like in reality if it happens like this concept here:
    1) floater over the first launch hump forwards
    2) Weightlessness half way up the top hat to the top and half way down
    3) Reverse flojector on the launch hump backwards
    4) Intense weightlessness this time on the vertical spike
    5) Likely ejector now on the final forwards launch
    6) Sustained floater over top hat, hopefully speed is good so there's ejector in the back seat on descent or ejector for all seats actually.
    7) Very sustained floater for all over the final hill into the brakes.
    Heaven!

    I think launch humps are a huge buzzkill, nearly all Ive ridden ruin a good launch

    How fast is the 1st launch?

    • @First-Drop-Studios
      @First-Drop-Studios Год назад +1

      Probably around 95 mph

      168 km/u, 104 mph, you were very close!

      What about 2nd?

    • @Casper.CoasterCreator
      @Casper.CoasterCreator  Год назад +1

      the second one is 182 km/u, 113 miles per hour and the last one is 180 km/u, 11 miles per hour. The second one is the fastest to reach the spikes 500ft high

      Is it slower than Top Thrill Dragster?

    So is the spike 500 foot, or is it taller than 500 foot.

    • @covertzebra
      @covertzebra Год назад +1

      the zero car would need to clear 500ft for it to be a 500ft coaster

    • @Casper.CoasterCreator
      @Casper.CoasterCreator  Год назад

      The zero car reaches 502 foot, the spike is 525 totally

    Guys this is stupid. People want cedar point to tear down thrill rides and build family rides and restaurant instead, like the new wild mouse. They should tear this ride down and build a new restaurant.

      tbh, wild mouse is a trip. my kids love it. and the grand pavilion/boardwalk revamp is a nice addition. they're giving us new restaurants, new family rides, new thrill rides... now just need to revamp some bathrooms...

      Cedar could really use a family location/area, however, due to the popularity, I dont see them closing dragster

      No, the g-forces stay between 4,8g (very short time) and -1,1g (on the tophat)

    Unfortunately it wont be like this. This is what would be game changer for cedar point again. But according to the latest news no bunny hill airtime hill on the way down. Just the spike. But man what great job on this!
