A quick look at the Buck custom offerings, reveals you can get this same knife with the magnacut steel, or S35VN steel and nickel silver bolsters. Can't get the rosewood handles, but you can order desert Ironwood, which, in my opinion, is much better looking.
Yes, I think the desert Ironwood is a very nice look too. Thanks, Bob.
Very beautiful. I sandblasted mine years ago for some odd reason so the blade is different colored. I broke the tip off of it around 1994 or so and ended up sharpening it back up so most people cant even tell it was messed up
I got it for my 21st birthday so I wanted to keep it original
Thanks for sharing the history with your 110, Madtown. A nice gift to receive.
Very nice, especially the wood scales, thanks for sharing it, TK.
Love that wood! Thanks for watching, Jose.
Got a hell of an example there John! Hope they do this with a 112 soon! Need some of that! Enjoyed the review
Thanks very much buddy. Hope all is well.
Perhaps THE best version of the Buck 110 out there. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Wow, thanks, Mo. The handles are exquisite.
@@ThriftyKaniffy Buck did a great job with these. I really like mine.
That is one very pretty Buck and in magnacut steel is just the icing on the cake! 🤩👍Thanks for sharing, take care my friend and Cheers!
Thanks very much, Dave. Hope you're doing great.,
Wow…..!!! You got a stunning example John….❤️
Well done for managing to get one of these…😎
On a minor note…. Legal to carry in the UK with good reason… camping, hunting… etc.
Take care brother, I’ll catch you soon…😎❤️👊🏻
Thanks very much, Sean. Glad I jumped on my chance for this one.
Great review Thrifty! Love your stills slideshows at the end of your vids!
Appreciate it, Robert. Hope it does the job of providing detail.
Very cool. I have the 112 in Magnacut from a stealth run. I really like it.
Yes a great knife, I need to that review that one soon. Thanks, Dean.
Absolutely beautiful knife, buddy! Thanks for showing it off!
A great addition to the Buck collection and happy to have it. Take care, David.
Beautiful, this version should be a standard offer in the Buck portfolio
It's certainly a choice many people would enjoy. Thanks, Careoran.
WOW, great piece. I have to see if I can pick up one of these Buck 110's with Magnacut. Thanks for sharing and God bless.
Thanks, Stan. Loving the Honduran Rosewood on this.
Beautiful knife!!!!!
Very kind of you GreatLakes! Thanks for watching.
I am kicking myself for not picking this up when they released them. I was broke after Christmas. But should have charged it. I love this one and wish i could get that wood in the custom shop id build one. Well see what they do this Jan. 10th and 12th.
Yep it hurt for a while being sold when it was, but I knew it was one worth sacrificing for. Thanks, Andrew.
Hi from France !
I have the classic version of the 110 and 112 : very good knives !
Greetings from Texas. The Buck 110 and 112 are very well made. Thanks, Olivier.
That is a real beauty, love it!! 👍
Thanks so much, toolsgear👍
👍 I have one of these knives from a special run as well. Excellent knife. I wish they had also offered in the drop point version.
That would be a nice additional option. Thanks, ROE.
🇺🇸 A great knife 🔪
I love this 110! 🤩
Thanks for sharing, John 🍻
ATB Gus 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed he look, Gus. Very happy to have jumped on it when I did.
Buck Strong!!! Super nice knife!!
Thanks for the comment MIPD. A great Buck for sure.
Beautiful knife I really like the handle scales, may have to get me a custom 112 with the Magnacut blade.
The custom shop is a great option for the Magnacut. Thanks, Michael.
Beautiful knife!😍😍
Thanks very much Norwegian. I appreciate you watching.
If I can lay my hands on one of these, I'll buy it 👍👍
Great piece from, Buck. Thanks, Michael.
Stunning 110! I can't quite tell, what are the bolsters made out of? They look more silvery and not like brass.
Eric, they are nickel silver bolsters.
Classic design and no nonsense comfortable work knife, I was always a fan of the lock back sadly made illegal in UK also the curved design keeps the tang covered up another plus for me. 😁
Thanks for the comment. Lewis. Has to be one of the most popular knives in history not named Victorinox. Cheers.
John that’s a great piece…….. I must have missed that one….. I’m thinking I don’t know how that one got by me that’s a bummer……. Enjoy owning that beauty stay safe out there John 😊
They came out right after Christmas when everyone was broke. It was a tough time to buy. Thanks, Pete.
I’d love to see this in the slim series.
Ok. Thanks, Brandon.
No doubt , it's a beauty . Enjoy .
Great review 👍 . Peace ✌️ , Be Free .
Glad you enjoyed the look, Michael. Cheers!
Nice looking example of stealth #5. I was fortunate to get it also, as well as stealth #6 (Buck 112). That Honduran rosewood is good stuff. The wood seems to vary quite a bit between each example I’ve seen. The price of these knives on the secondary market these days is crazy…
Good choice! Yes the Buck secondary market can be a bit absurd. Thanks, Mike.
Sweet looking knife.
I appreciate it, Jeff. Cheers.
@ my pleasure John, cheers
Nice knife, why does the brass look scratched ?
It's a Satin finish, Steven. Thanks for watching.
i would own one of these knives again if they were not some kind of stainless and get rid of the hollow grind.50 years ago i had one. the most difficult knives to sharpen and get a satisfactory edge are buck. i make my own knives now.
Cool that you make your own. Thanks, Orion.
@@ThriftyKaniffy you must mean, then make your own? doesnt matter if i do. i stopped buying junk like this quite a while ago. too bad guys will listen to a junk collector before the voice of experience. guess some people dont plan on actually using this. i didnt realize your just buying to look at it.
@@orionoutdoorsandworkshop5617 No, I meant that it's cool that you make your own knives. Good golly you seem easily triggered. I've got no quarrel, do your own thing. Don't like the "junk" on the channel, move along.
nice knife
Thanks very much, Kathleen. Cheers!
I’ve never had a Buck that didn’t come from the factory scary sharp.
One question how is the joint where the back of the blade meets the spring? Almost every Buck I’ve ever had the spring is rounded and the blade is square so there is a bit of a gap where they meet when open.
Honestly, I think too much is made of that small gap because 95 percent of the rest of the tang is perfectly flush and allows for zero blade rock. If anything it just makes the opening action smoother. Thanks, Anth
@ I wondered if it might play into smother action. I’ve never had a Buck with blade rock. They are always great quality knives.
Please let Randy know that we are praying for him. We are friends with HT EDC and others
Will do, Jason.
@@ThriftyKaniffythank you
Magnacut isnt good anyway.
