Beautiful knife. I like your choice of Elk Horn with brass. I’m thinking of ordering a custom 110 also with Magnucut steel for the blade, nickel bolsters, with either ironwood or elk horn and the distressed brown sheath. That puts the price right at $230-255 depending on which handle I go with. From a pricing standpoint, considering that most production knives from brands like Spyderco or Benchmade will cost even more and that’s not even going the custom route, I’d say the Buck is a good value. Dollar for dollar.

mm i debated hard on my 110's handle material for a while. i definitely wanted the elk, but i was more drawn to the look of the cherry wood.
so in the end i wound up making my custom with the finger grooved cherry wood handle with nickel bolsters (with rivets), s30v drop point blade, and some engravings (identification on one side of the blade and bolsters and a quote from my late grandmother on the opposite side of the blade.)

Is the button of the sheat covered on the inside or does it rub against the knife bolsters or handles?

If it’s a Buck knife that you’re after with a modern twist there are many models to choose from. Models 838 & 743 come to mind. The 110 is part of Buck’s classic collection. They also offer smaller versions of the 110 which are the 501 & 505. Something for everyone…even automatic (switch blade) knives for those who live in a State where they are legal to carry.

They put "proudly made in USA" on the Mexican made black sheaths too. That refers to the knife. Chances are that distressed leather sheath is made in the same Mexican factory. And you should not have a problem with that. It's better than the sheaths being made in China.
