I have a 110 that I bought on May 24 1972 on board the USS Tuscaloosa while on my beautiful S E Asia tour while in the Marines. Remember the date because it was my 20th birthday and I agonized for a week over the $10 it cost. Went for it!
Carried that ol boy for probably 20+ years, daily and semi regular, but every weekend, after that (job change). I rode a chopped '54 Harley so it's a wonder the ol Buck boy didn't vibrate apart.
I went to the K-Bar fixed blade for daily carry right after they came out (lighter, quicker, less obtrusive).
Also have the Buck multi-tool probably 25ish years old.
Be great to have the ol boy refurbed but at 71, with 2 cancers (wonky status, it's cancer so who knows) I'd not put the cash into it.
Those blue handles....gorgeous, my favorite color, that's what sucked me into this video (auto play and....there they were!) That vine file work sets it off to the utmost.
When I discharged my son was then old enough to handle it (unopened, of course) and that knife mesmerized him at 4 yrs old. He liked to have it on his desk while doing his "stuff" just "in case". It got him to collecting Bucks for a while in his teen years.

Blinking Heck. Awesome job. Live in Wales. Have loved these knives for decades. Always wanted one. But not sure we in the UK can get them into the country. So many knife crimes in England mostly, and at school and gang level. My closest point to owning one of these beautifully crafted knives is watching channels like yours. Thanks for posting. Have subscribed and liked.

Hey kyle. Love the channel and the craftsmanship you do on the knives.I noticed your surname "Noseworthy" and i was thinking your ancestors are probably from the Southern Western side of the U.K the same as mine North Devon,Cornwall to be exact as there are loads of small place names that go by the familly name and the in this area a lot of the surnames end in "worthy" i myself have family from the area and my surname is "Goldsworthy" but have a look on googlemaps and see if you can find your actual surname but it may not have the exact spelling as Surnames when they left the area sometimes the spelling can slightly change even the "worthy" can just end up as "worth" etc,etc Worthy came from the more ambitious 'worthig'- Saxon for a small-holding. It survives in the names ending 'worthy', particularly in North Devon. The worthy was a one family farm as compared to the community settlement or 'tun', leading to 'ton' and 'don', meaning a town anyway thought you might find that interesting if you didnt all ready know. Best wishs to all your family. thanks justin.🙂

I have a Chicago cutlery knife made like a buck 110. I would like to regardless it without the rear bolster. I would love to know if it would be something I can afford? I saw another video where you did 4 of these knifes. Two of them you removed the rear bolster. I’m not wanting anything expensive for the new scale. Just loved how nice the knife looked with the rear bolster removed. I hope to hear from you soon.

If you remove the rivets and place in boiling water it will release the glue. I do a few lapidary scales for buck 110's out of custom shop builds.
