Beyond hilarious to me how in these all time drafts, Olajuwon seemingly ALWAYS ends up being a top 5 pick yet usually ends up around 12-15 on GOAT lists. Had he played for the Lakers, Celtics, or Knicks he'd be considered the goat at C.

The center position is very tough to debate. Even if people think wilt had inflated stats, he would still put up Hakeem stats and was even more athletic than him.
Also the problem is ring counting be the end all be all. The real value of a player is all nba selections, all nba defensive selections, mvps, DPOY, and finals mvp are top notch criteria.

I’m 7 minutes in and the fact that they have to choose players from different eras made this way more creative than it would have initially been.

Elder won. Jerry west off the bench leading the second unit would be crazy. Cp3 playmaking and complimenting MJ and Birds scoring on the wing, not to mention their perimeter defense. Plus Duncan and Embiid's post game, ability to stretch the floor, and interior presence is unbeatable. virtually a dream team with no weaknesses

Contrary to popular belief there were many other really good centers and 7 footers. His main competitors, every night, were Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dave Cowens, Wes Unseld, Willis Reed, Nate Thurmond, Bob Lanier, Walt Bellamy, and Bob McAdoo!!!! (All HOFers) This was AFTER he tore his patellar tendon, aged 33-36!!! Here are some other really good opposing centers: Elmore Smith, Tom Boerwinkle, Neal Walk, Clifford Ray, Otto Moore, Sam Lacey, Bob Rule, Leroy Ellis and Luke Jackson. Elvin Hayes and Jerry Lucas also played some Center. Wilt had a tough opponent every night.
36 year old Wilt could still play 40+ minutes a game and give you efficient scoring and elite defense and rebounding
So 3 years of good play in a semi respectable era, vs the rest of his career in one of the least compete eras of all time.
Hakeem, Kareem, Shaq, etc, are all better than he was. His stats are the most inflatef of all time.

Terrible idea, Westbrook is a 78 rank after averaging 17-7-7. No one in the history of games gets a rank that low for numbers like that even if they average 5 TOs per game.

Just going to drop a few opinions:
I think Chill should have went picked the 3rd best 70s player with his 3rd pick Elvin Hayes. Then fill the rest of the roster with shooters. So 00's Ray Allen for 4th pick over dwade. Tatum would still be there at 5th and Klay Thompson would fit for a 6th pick. BIG E & The Dream as the twin towers with Magic running the show with a shooter/slasher on each side. WOOOO!
L.O.W. should have picked Zeke! 80s Isaiah Thomas & 90s Karl Malone with his 3rd & 4th pick. Then any combo of D-wade or Kawhi or Embiid or Joker for the last 2 picks.
Flu has the best team. Kobe and LeBron!? And Luka!? With Walt Frazier... even if LOW does his job and takes Karl Malone I think 90s David Robinson would work.
Marz Kareem pick was genius. But should have picked up Duncan 2nd and let Del have Steph. Then could have grabbed Luka or Zeke. Pippen would still be there as well. Kareem, Duncan, Pippen, with Luka or Zeke makes the Devin Booker an even better 6th pick.

Elder's team is the most versatile team with no clear weakness. Fluent put Lebron, Kobe, and Luka on the same team which sounds good except they all ball dominant players that I have no confidence can play together.
Yeah fr. Luka and Lebron are better when you build the team around them like with good shooters and defense. If you just put ball dominant players next to them then it takes away from their offense which makes the team worse overall

My rankings of their draft results out of 100 pts:
Elder - 90 He literally got the best player from each of the 80s 90s 2000s, but don’t like the past his prime West pick or the cp3 pick.
Del - 55 Didn’t have a single pick that was best in their era, hell most aren’t even top 5 in their era. At least no horrible picks though.
Marz - 65 Kareem and steph were great picks but then he has head scratcheds with Pippen and IT, those were horrible picks that drag the team down. Not even top 10 players of their era.
Fluent - 95 He made the best picks with what was available to him, Karl Malone was his only non-stellar pick but he could do worse than Karl
Chill - 80 Hakeem magic and Dwade are fantastic picks but the rest is underwhelming and I expected better from him
Low - 35 awful team imo. He has mchale and gp on his “all time” team that kind of says it all. I don’t like a single pick here aside from maybe Kawhi

You must have Hakeem Olajuwon and Bill Russell just outside the top 10.
If you taking into consideration both... Titles and Talent, I can see why you pick Duncan and Shaq over Hakeem.
I would argue that Hakeem was a more complete player than both Shaq and Duncan.
And outside of Greatness both Shaq and Duncan had better teams around them and better coaching around them than Olajuwon ever had.
I believe if Ralph Sampson never got hurt...Olajuwon would have had more help and had more Titles and history would be written differently today.
And Magic Johnson's Lakers wouldn't have had as many championships.
They would have still been Champs...But the Rockets would have formed a juggernaut to rival the Lakers from 86 and beyond.
And Olajuwon would have won a ring before Jordan with the Bulls did in 91.

They was going to form an Elite Twin Tower...but because of greatest potential, Hakeem was the number 1 option

I disagree with that.
Sampson would have had more potential if he had never gotten hurt, because he would have put on more weight and would have been called on to carry the team offensively more since he was more skilled at that point in time.
