Only safe until the holidays are over and it's only a 4 x 4 block radius. Everywere else is a shithole.
Hotels at 20-30% capacity... Powell street shops all shuttered between market and Geary with the exception of Walgreens and Starbucks as you leave union square. It's suuuch an uphill climb. Hopeful this drop in crime doesn't mean it just goes up elsewhere.
Hotels in SF are actually at 85-90% 2019 levels. Tourist visits this year were 23 million. Compared to 26 million in 2019 that's about 90%. Same numbers we were getting in 2014-2015.
