Also, we are back from Greece and Cyprus and I will tell you that there ARE Greek KIDS that LOVE the 70s and 80s music! The reason being is that on a favourite radio station in Greece, they will play a series of today's hits BUT in Greek and the ONLY music in English are the 70s and 80s hits (and sometimes the 60s!).
I was in utter shock when the radio decided to play Sunny by Bobby Hebb! I was travelling to Athens airport and on my ride the song was played on a major hit radio station in Athens! I was out of words as this song is such a rarity in Toronto as no one on the radio (EVEN the oldies radio) would play the song as that particular song was a 60s song and the oldies radio would only play SELECT hits from the 60s. That is the 60s essentials like the Beatles, Monkees ... Sunny was not an essential I guess in the eyes of the oldies radio and therefore was never played at all! And yet, in Greece, on the number one most listened to radio station where kids are tuning in, that song was played! Amazing!
i want to touch on another point, great songs, and very diverse, that your exposing lilly to, these are songs that will inspire an 8 year old, from pop, to the danish orchestra, to dance, she will take stuff away from your exposure, to either want to sing, play instrument, or even sit in her bedroom and write a song, that might start with a few words, a poem, but them leads on to be a song, this is how people change the world, of music, music touches everyone, great job you two
I best know of Janet Jackson as a semiregular guest star on the 70s-80s American sitcom _Diff'rent Strokes_ playing Willis's girlfriend, Charlene. She sang in one episode. Beautiful voice.

beautiful voice, he was so talented guys, I remember the first MJ song I ever heard was called Farewell My Summer Love from 1973 and I still like it today. I remember Can You Feel It and i remember the video as well, it was a good one. Aww yeah hah I watched the movie a few days ago and I love it, downloaded the soundtrack as well. Ennio Morricone is a fab composer, I remember he wrote Aquarium the theme from Days of Heaven and the music actually does sound like an aquarium, he's a total genius 😎👍
So last night I posted two videos, this one, and Can Can by Bad Manners, RUclips has disabled comments on this video at least 8 times so far, because I've allowed them 9 times. The other video I posted has no such problems and comments have been allowed all the time. It's infuriating. 🥵🥵
We've made a few videos, but I'm posting them one at a time in an attempt to keep up with RUclips disabling the comments on every one. I've had to turn them back on 3 times already, it's only been up about 15 minutes.
