It's quite confronting in a way. ABBA has been with me since in-utero. I came out loving them, and have understood that since I was a young boy. Agnetha and Frida's voices are like family women to me, and I learned a lot about adult relating through their singing of Bjorn's lyrics and Benny's wonderful piano. I was also a fairly sharp "been here before" kinda toddler, and found an early love for piano, and musicality, harmony etc. Who could've really imagined a get-together again at this late stage, by the real fantastic foursome of pop? Hundreds of millions of people around the world are beside themselves in this regard. It's quite interesting to see, as a 39yo man, a fairly young child taking on/in such a powerfully adult song by ABBA. I don't know Lilly age, but I'm guessing it would be 7 -9yo. It will be roughly the early 2050s when she's my age, and no doubt will still love ABBA, and the memory of recording this session with her Pa will be with her always. What a mirror, what a life and what lives to tell, what a time we live in.
