    Hillwalking up Ben Lomond in Scotland is fun because its the Most Popular Munro in Scotland, hill walking in the Scottish highlands up Scotland's easiest mountain / munro.
    Ben Lomond is the best starter munro for bagging munros. I want to start camping and use tents in the future and to wild camping.
    This munro is suitable for dogs, hillwalking with dogs.

    I watched this beforehand and did the very same route yesterday. That scramble to the top ain't for the faint hearted 😂 I'm glad I've done it but to be so close to the edge and for how steep it is climbing those rocks, oooftt! I didnt expect that 🙈 Great video!

    Great video Dan - is it easy to navigate to the cae park? Any tips? Thanks

    • @DanMunroMan
      @DanMunroMan  2 года назад

      I just used my google maps and it was very easy, but a big tip would be to try and do it on a less busy day, because you might get turned away from the car park because its too full, and it would just be very annoying getting turned away, and i would take the anti-clockwise route if you havent climbed much, because the other side is steep, but has nicer views

    Great video.
    I just have some questions, if you could answer would be great.
    - how far is this from Glasgow by car?
    - are trainers and warm clothes suffice or do we need actual hiking boots?
    Thanks!

    • @DanMunroMan
      @DanMunroMan  2 года назад +2

      Hi zen, it is roughly 30 minutes from Glasgow, and if you stick to the gentle slope side you should be okay without hiking boots, but i would wear double socks and bring blister patches just to be safe. And because its summer you should be alright if its clear skies, but if there is any chance of bad weather id bring spare clothes in a rucksack to be safe :)

    • @DanMunroMan

      No bus transport to start, but you can access via a summer ferry from Tarbet Pier across the loch; there are buses to Tarbet from Glasgow and Balloch. Hope this helps

      I agree i know for a fact the Fit Bits over estimate burned calories, but that is from the entire today so you have to take into account maintenance calories also. I would say for the full day it would be more like 3,500-4,500 kcals

    The music u put in your vids do not suit this kind of video u need to change it, to bagpipes or mote relaxing music, u dont need to put music through out the whole vid, it gets annoying, there is no shame on doing it on your own, u dont have to always get your mates to climb with u
