I've been a huge SRV fan since 1996 and I'm very impressed by this band! It took me forever plus ten years to try to come close to SRV's style. I'm happy that I can achieve about 50% of it. Being able to play any of his songs makes me happy in my heart. Good on you mates!
That was fuckin amazing. The amount of time and emotional investment that goes into learning that entire song so accurately- I’m so impressed. You guys rock as a band- and Mr. Lead Guitar- all hats go off to you for your amazing attention to detail and willingness to bring Stevie Ray back for us all. Seriously incredible. Respect.

What I find to be common for everyone of us who tries to play like him, is that he wouldn't miss a single note or chunk the pic and he would execute every note with impeccable precision. His hand didn't fatigue at all but all of ours sure do. This was a great impersonation of double trouble as a band. Do not get me wrong this guitarist has it note for note the speeds right what's missing is Stevie's intensity and the attitude he played with. Stevie would sweat through his cloths through his pants shirt jacket. After a show he was spent he left it all on stage. That's what NO ONE Would ever be able to copy. The ridges eaten into his guitar above the pick Gaurd he wore those into the guitar with his pick. He tuned down 1/2 step turned the amps up to ten and played 13's and let er rip tater chip.this guitarist is awesome indeed but Stevie was Stevie he broke the mold. He heart was unique. The love that passed our way because of him was his gift to us all. Not ripping on these guys they are great just my .02c

Cool job, i used have an srv tribute band in athens ga for around 10yrs in late 90s years, i been playing since the late 80s and have been in many projects where ive had to emulate ppl, but Stevie is one that sucks you in to get close to sound there are so many things like Hendrix you have to nail.

Wow, this guy nails the tone, the picking style, even looks like SRV, and plays the recorded version note for note. Yet... And yet. SRV played it completely improvised and his musicality and passion was off the charts. This guy I'm sure has been practicing this exact solo hundreds if not thousands of times, yet can't quite recreate the grit, subtleties and passion of the original. No disrespect to this guy. Awesome performance. That's just how much of a gift from God SRV was.

People dont realize to play like stevie you have to play these songs thousands or tens of thousands of times. I can see your fingers have been there aswell. You got it as close to note for note as I've seen. So sick. Do a tutorial.
