- This video is the 3rd in the series of 1st cleans. Last week I uploaded 1st recon wash & 1st protection & this one is 1st Interior clean. A heads up, a lot of video has been fast forwarded as I wanted to keep the time down and didn't want to totally bore you. I hope it is of help
Top work there 👍 great video
Christopher Locke many thanks Christopher. Really appreciate your support 👍thank you
Great video Martin worth the wait and what a difference 👍
Thank you Paul, hard work but I really enjoyed it and I think it is a better video than the one I mucked up
"Really good products, really crap packaging" - OCD 2019 🤣
so frustrating that they don't look at improving their packaging when refreshing products.
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer I know what you mean, I swap many products into better bottles. It's a shame we can't just buy refills.
Now that is a bloody good idea👍
Detailing is hard work let alone trying to capture it on film 🎥 well done Martin what a turnaround products worked really well and you still look clean unlike me when I’ve finished I look like a man who’s slept in a hedge top work 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank Paul, the camera lies, I felt like a 100 by the time I fell into a chair with a brew. Thank you for the message of support on Instagram, it means a lot👍
Obsessive Car Detailer it’s a hard thing to put yourself out there Martin by the way nice bouncers T mug I’ve got one of those 👍🏻
great job martim
Rafael Bitoque thank you, appreciate your support 👍
Thanks for the third part it was worth waiting for. I also use the Auto Glym shampoo and vinyl products which I find are as good as any. As a matter of interest what APC do you use? I look forward to seeing your next project
I got a 5 litre tub of Bilt Hamber Surfex APC, and have 3 different sprayers for 3 different dilution ratios. A 7-1 mix for really nasty interior work on 4x4's - it works amazingly well. For a wheel cleaner I mix it 4-1, and 10-1 for general cleaning for interior and around the house.
Thanks for your support Gerald, I am currently working my why through a batch of Auto Finesse Verso but have to agree with Bob Diggler, Bilt Hammier does take some beating. My next project will be applying a coat of Infinity Turbo6 to my X3 as a second layer of protection over two coats of Car Chem Hydrocoat Hybrid that I currently have as my base layer of protection.
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer Thanks for the info I have not tried Bilt Hamber APC when my current Meguairs APC runs out I will try it 👍
Great video & you done a exceptionally great job ? Oh what was the dressing you used on the dash ?
Hi, really testing my memory now. I cleaned all interior surfaces with Autoglym Interior Shampoo & then dressed all the plastic with Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber. hope that is of help & thanks for watching
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer cheers for that 👍🏻 you did a great job 👏
@@133taxi thanks, it was hard work but enjoyable
Great 3 videos Martin
I know you used Infinity and auto glym products but do Garage Therapy do very similar products for what you did in these 3 videos
In my view Andy, GT products are far better than InfinityWax. So yes GT have an interior cleaner thats dilatable and their shampoos are top quality. I think their sealants are also great but for swirls AG Resin is a great product. I fills minor swirls with resin and masks them making the light reflect off a smoother surface so great gloss. Check out my video on AG resin & Gloss ruclips.net/video/zAX271V453g/видео.html
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer Thank you so much Martin
i am already starting writing out my list for car products from GT and Leather Repair Company
when the weather cools down i will definitely be starting to clean my car by myself from now on
kind regards
Andy
@@andycole5816 always here for help Andy👍
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer Hello Martin do you think this will be enough for me to start cleaning my car
GT wheel shampoo
GT car shampoo which i can also use as a snow foam then 2 bucket wash ? Is that correct
GT Quick detailer
GT two sigma wax spray to give the car protection wax ?
GT wheel mitt
GT wash pad
Sorry for all the questions
@@andycole5816 if you don't ask then you won't know Andy. We all started somewhere. If you are spending that much then I would add GT snow foam. I am assuming you have a snow foam lance?
Hi Martin, you have used some different products for interior cleaning, and I would like to know what is the best interior products to use as you say works for you,my van is in need of a good interior clean, hope your making the most of this weather, all the best
I like Garage Therapy Interior cleaner especially as you can dilute it so good value for money. Suggest you use at 10 to 1 to start with depending on how dirty the van is. However the product I go to mostly is P&S Xpress Interior Cleaner, I find it difficult to beat for dirty cars.
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer thank you Martin,I will give them a go👍☕🍰
Another great video Martin 👏. Quick question about the Autoglym bottle swap, how do you get the labels off the original ones and onto the new ones. Have enrolled on Instagram to follow you and the others better, just need to work out how it bloody works first 😂😂
🤣🤣 I just fumble along on Instagram and have no idea, not much better on RUclips to be honest social media is definitely not my strong point. I just carefully peel the label’s off
Great stuff ocd love the autoglym products have you tried the ultra HD wax yet.
absolutely. I am a big fan of Autoglym. thanks for your support
Hi great video thanks, that was one manky truck🤢. Can you tell me what APC u used? Thanks.
Hi, if I remember rightly it was Autofinesse Verso. I think its about £9 for a ltr. hope that is of help
Obsessive Car Detailer Thks, I have to try some of that.
li chun it’s nothing special, I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it. It works but no Better than other brands on the Market
Another top class video and the Autoglym products, those three in particular performing very well. Reliable, they work and been around for a long time too.
That is one hell of a job you done there and must of been tiring work. The turn around was superb and you can really see some life back in the vehicle. Question, if you were to do this detail again what would you have done differently? Also did you feel you lacked any specific tools?
Thumbs up for GT!
If I had the time & if it wasn't needed back to work, I would have tried a steam cleaner on the seats. Although they came up nice and the owner was very pleased, I think they could have come up better with a deep clean. But its back to work today and already the cab it full of tree surgeon gear. Hard work but really enjoyed it. I had a video of dirt just running off the wheels with Zero but finger trouble struck agin 🥺
AG interior shampoo is just apc
Cameron Stevenson it certainly does a very good job, I was very happy with the way it cleaned all surfaces
You dont know what you talking about this thing destroyed my interior
sometimes we just find it easier to blame the tools !!!!!!!!
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer agressive chemical it made air bubbles on my dash
@@djsjsjjskdjjfjdjd1731 you should contact Autoglym and explain what happened. They are one of the biggest detailing manufacturers in the UK and have a very good reputation so maybe they will be in a position to help??
