Everything is correct in this video except the arrow on filter should point down ,the airflow is coming from the outside. Instructions also shows state that.
FYI, mine has screws on the sides that you have to take out in order to access the filter. Also my factory-installed filter has the air flow arrow pointed down. Good video though, thanks.
I'm getting ready to do this for the first time. In his video, it looks like the dirty side is up, so the arrow should be down. I don't think it really makes much of a difference for these
According to 4 other videos, you are putting the filter in upside down, the arrow should be pointing down, however, I just changed it and the old filter was installed with the arrow up! Which is right?
You can see in the video the arrow is pointing down on the dirty one that they removed (and all the debris was on top, obviously the inlet side) and they put it in up side down with the arrow pointing up. While for most filters it might not matter, they are marked for a reason.

A dealer wanted to charge me $75 for this easy step. I was like “heck no”. Excellent video
Nice work! thanks for watching!
Wow. That was easy. Thank you for the video.
I did it! I can't believe I did this myself. Thank you so much!!
does the air flow arrow point down or up ? I think the airflow is coming down based on all the junk on the top of the filter you removed.
Then do that. It doesn't really matter much. Thanks for watching!

Yeah I doubt it makes a drop of difference. Thanks for watching!
A small add. Our 2016 had two screws one by each quick release tab. Phillips. Hope this help
How often should they be replaced?

I just assume the factory is correct and it had the arrow up. It probably matters very little to none anyway. Thanks for watching!
