I used to use those "DeviantART cringe" videos as a way to find fetish content as a child, and it makes me wonder how many of those people criticizing peoples kinks inadvertently gave more people the kinks.
I was obsessed with those videos at a certain point, and considering I am currently into some freaky deaky stuff right now, I.. Don’t imagine they helped at all - I watched the big three at the time; Solar Sands, Jackoon, The Fandom Menace.. I was rigged from the start - But hey, at least I now have an impressive grasp on art and fandom history a few more rabbit-holes later!
it's pretty concerning to me how some individuals online are trying to normalize it and make "sfw" spaces about it, claiming that voraphilia isn't something explicitly sexual (which... it is, lol).
oh my god. whenever i see people talking about childhood unrestricted internet access, they always say things like "i saw mlp gore and it scared me :-(" and never talk about these kinds of things. this video, notably Leo's segment, has made me feel incredibly seen. although i never encountered kphoria myself, a lot of the things covered here mirror my experiences very well. thank you for this, it has caused me to look back at myself in new ways.
Same, I really wanted to give Kphoria the benefit of a doubt and assume that maybe he didn't want children to watch his content and such BUT like you said, that was until I saw the Sonic Sez shit
I'd argue he still was tone deaf at that moment. He was just replicating the sonic sez style. Not really expecting to touch the children demographic. I'm absolutely convinced he was that clueless as to how bad taste the video was.
Kphoria sonic sez and rest of his videos are really bad because you had better fan animation such as super mario bros Z that went above and beyond what fan animation should be I'd say it's better than the recent indie animations that came out
as an autistic person, autism isn't an excuse at all ; im literally so tired of people using autism as an excuse for gross stuff like this edit: i started a war in the replies lmao
@@giggig6703Idk man, this guy is clearly a p3d0. That's not something worth defending. Just because there are weirder Autistic people doesn't mean the "PDF-philia" is okay.
I remember being a tween on Deviantart, and as a way to gain more community I used to do free requests and free sketches, I remember grown adults asking me to make fetish content, it was never anything outwardly sexual but at the time I thought it was odd, and luckily I never drew any of the weird things that were asked of me, and i had no idea it was even fetish content to begin with. It was very grim for me to look back on because my age was in my bio, so there was no way people didn't NOT know they were asking a child to make fetish content.
Ive had a similar expirence, its so so gross how people got away with stuff like that, hopefully nowadays kids can be warned about feitish mining and the people that do it will get in trouble, Im so sorry it had to happen to you though dude, its messed up af
I’ve been there.. I still remember a man dming me multiple times to get a commission that was fetish fuel.. DA is full of adults who don’t realize that just because they have a fetish doesn’t mean they can commission anyone for more fetish fuel..
My heart goes out to any of you who may have been a victim to these kinds of trafficking violations or exploitations because that is what it really is. I go back to DeviantArt and pixiv every now and then to see how this website is up to and it's only becoming an objective p*** site the more I view it. I can't believe that there are people in those comment sections who actually praise and congratulate graphic depiction of cartoon/anime minors. Pokémon is the worst of them all since it's just more on the human characters from the games being sexualized than the Pokémon themselves. This of course revolves around both the children and adult characters from Pokémon doing disgusting things 🤢🤮 If you want to show off your professional artwork to the world, don't do DeviantArt. It has lost its reputation of being an art sharing website and people should look elsewhere. Although, I have heard that one of the directors of Pixar's Turning Red has a DeviantArt account and that was what was considered as her portfolio for working on the movie so take that as you will.
My "holy crap that's a real fetish" moment was when I was in middle school. I drew a lot of "parodies" of old movie franchises like wizard of OZ or a christmas Carol, stuff like that, and used the internet for references on how to draw the characters. Then I decided to try Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Big freaking mistake for obvious reasons. Didn't give me a weird fetish or anything, but threw me down a rabbit hole that night.
"decided to try [to draw] Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" "Didn't give me a weird fetish" You have no clue how lucky you are. That's like flipping a coin and then the coin landing on its edge.
Similar thing happened to me, when I was in kindergarten or elementary school (I'm not sure) I used to draw people transforming into animals and I realized in 2020 that it was a fetish (because of this Roblox game), I don't remember why I liked drawing them but I think I liked the idea of a zombie infection type but sadly It did give me a fetish because of these Roblox games (wish I had never seen them)
@@eymenthugits not your fault, you were impressinable and something that was not supposed to be on robloxs site made you like that, its fully that developers fault for posting it as a childrens game
i think they should put more explicit warnigs, bcs i've been already exposed to an nsfw video that OPENLY SAID it was nsfw and i didn't know what that meant. so i ended up watching it. so yeah, maybe more explicit sexual content warnings would be better than just nsfw. (i still totally agree with u, btw.)
I'd say that definitely differentiates Fetish artists and NSFW artists. Former: Doesn't care who sees it On youtube for whatever reason No warning Abhorrent art style Gets paid if it racks up views Latter: Has a target demographic Not on youtube Puts clear warnings and signals to deter kids Actually high quality at points Unless they have a Pat, they ain't getting paid or getting paid squat
@ColorInversion well not really, there is alot of people who do draw fetish content and does what they are supposed to do. And trust me, if it wasnt moderated, there is going to be nsfw artist slipping throught cracks. The thing is that moderation is what clears out these issues with nsfw content. With fetish art, since its technically not sexual. It doesnt get taken down.
When I was little my friend used to watch Kphoria. He would have nightmares about being eaten by amy, So I told him to stop watching it. After he was so happy
As someone who grew up watching these videos, got groomed by multiple fetishists, and became hypersexual because of it. Thank you for making this video, it absolutely validated my experiences
Actually glad in a odd way that you took the "if it isn’t harming anyone it’s fine" stance on kinks like vore. It would be easy to villianize everyone who’s into this stuff due to bad parties, and most do for this thing. I know it’s a minor thing but as someone who used to be really into vore when I was younger (probably in part because of kphoria) and still has a strange interest in it (like a scientist observing and studying bugs) I appreciate it. Something about how if you insult a bad person for something, someone you like who has the same thing can be hurt by it. Idk
@@Sudriantank743 Who would've thought that a game about furries trying to forcefully shove you down an animal costume's non-existent throat would be tied to vore? ... ... ... Okay, maybe it isn't that surprising.
As someone who’s also ended up being into weird shit due to kids content, I’m really glad people are speaking out more about it and that it’s becoming more well known. Hearing from Leo helps me feel like I’m not alone, and your words are very comforting. I hope this can be stopped before more children are affected.
At the risk of oversharing.... yeah Kphoria was definitely a factor in me being the way I am now. I used to hate myself for developing a vore fetish, but as I've looked back on it in hindsight, I don't think it was kphoria specifically that "infected" me. I think I was just.. always like this? And Kphoria was just one step in a process of figuring it out. From what I've heard from other people I've spoken to about these kinds of fetishes, they tend to start pretty young with or without exposure this explicit (thought of course, being so young we had no context for those feelings, but still had a gut instinct to hide them.) Honestly nowadays I just find Kphoria's stuff really cringey, especially the abundance of underaged characters present in their work. I don't care that it's fictional, I still find it weird, and I'm going to think you're weird if you talk about how much you love jorkin' it to pink 12 year old hedgehogs. I've gotten over the self loathing. Turns out, finding other people who like the same stuff you do and aren't creeps or weirdoes about it does wonders for your self-esteem. I'm married, and my wife doesn't mind it. Every person I've dated before her always kind of treated my fetish like it was degenerate cringe shit that i should keep to myself and take to my grave, and yeah that fucked with me for a while, made me not want to engage with sexual topics or acts at all regardless of how vanilla they were. Being in an environment where it's not automatically assumed I'm a creep who preys on women or a child groomer is a fucking godsend. I don't think fetishes are inherently bad.. a lot of the time they are just a preference. But there is absolutely a line to be drawn and I draw it at a couple places. Exposing children to this shit is absolutely one of those lines. I don't care if there's no genitals shown, "sfw" kink does not exist. It's an oxymoron. Fuck Kphoria, and fuck everyone who followed in their wake.
Honestly giga based take; it's really sad that people like Kphoria basically spread their fetish unto young impressionable kids making them im turn develop that fetish, but im glad that you and many others were able to learn to cope with it and accept what happened. Having a weird fetish is fine so long as it's not hurting anyone, but the problem is when ppl start exposing it to kids with the excuse of "it's sfw". You cant tell me that people like Kphoria didn't know what they were doing, they absolutely wanted to get more people addicted to their same fetish. The internet gave me, and honestly probably most of gen z, some weird turn ons and it sucks, but all we can really do now is accept it and try to prevent it from happening to the next generation too.
I felt the same way until my partner accepted me for it, but its made it hard to find anyone irl since my fetishes have snowballed into extreme fetishes, but online dating has helped and its how i met my current partner
@@shadowthephoenix1true, unrestricted internet access fucked me up but I've eventually accepted it, especially from ppl who say that "sfw ddlg" exists on tumblr, which fucked me up too
In regards to the commonality of people being autistic and into this fetish, here are my thoughts as someone with the condition with family members also effected: Autistic children are much more susceptible to patterns and consistent behaviour. Our environments are often out of our control and that consistency brings comfort. I could understand a child watching this same content just because of the formulaic stories and art. It's what they know, even if they don't understand it. Also, a lot of autistic people use the internet because we have trouble making connections irl. When everyone around you is cruel or apathetic, you don't really want to go outside to play. After all, 9/10 times, you'll be the butt of the joke. I didn't personally watch these videos but I played a lot of "games for girls" that had many of these issues. And though the dress up ones contributed positively to my interests in fashion and character design, there is a lot of content in those games that are definitely fetish content. Dental and surgical gore were the worst by far. It's a whole other rabbit hole and I definitely shouldn't have been exposed to that stuff so young.
I was absolutely terrified of those weird dentist games as a child, still am tbh. Also kind of just gave me a fear of teeth in general. I’m autistic too, and luckily being exposed to this kind of content at a young age had the opposite effect on me. It scared me. Which led to me developing some weird fears (teeth, feet, etc…)
hey, that second paragraph! Jesus Christ! that’s exactly what happened to me! with this exact content! i don’t know wether to feel reassured that it wasn’t my fault and im not some kind of creep born with certain alarms missing or if i should feel ashamed that somebody could know, but hey - diagnosed on two separate occasions and have come away with the mental battle scars of being subjected to this stream of content by people who knew better, you’ve really hit the nail on the head.
The sheer amount of people that can directly trace their vore fetishes to him specifically is actually fucking wild ...shit would almost be funny if it wasn't so fucked up
Using a burner account to ramble about this: I am in a very, very strange situation similar to a couple of commenters here. I'm someone who considers themselves aro/ace, and I don't have any interest in being in a romantic or sexual relationship- I simply cannot picture myself in one. Fictionalized version of myself or not, it doesn't work for me. It just strikes the same chord as an unpleasant intrusive thought. As a kid, I had unrestricted access to the internet. There was the usual "i saw something really fucked up and scary" but there was also "i saw something really fucked up and horny" I think that youtubers such as Solar Sands and other "deviantart cringe" channels were the first ones to actually expose me to fetish content. And I think I developed a sort of morbid fascination with fetish art because of it? Especially because it was labeled as "cringe" or "joke" art so there was a layer of supposed detachment to engaging with it. Like some of the interviewees, I didn't know what was going on beyond "that's weird". A combination of the social media algorithm and curiosity exposed me to more of it. I ended up finding a few particular accounts on a particular social media, that would just post fetish art and straight up porn art. No punchline, no commentary, no nothing other than an ironic name- they may as well have just been the accounts of genuine fetish enthusiasts. Sometimes I suspect they were, looking back. And because of that... As a teen I ended up drawing NSFW (a lot of which I regret) privately. While I don't think I ever drew straight up vore, a lot of my art was adjacent to it. The best choice I ever made was never, EVER showing it to anybody else. Probably because 1) I was embarrassed by it and 2) I knew that I didn't want to expose anybody else to that subject matter In general, I have a complicated relationship with NSFW. Being that I don't actively seek it out nor engage with it whenever it pops up. But there is still something in me that needs to process those years of involuntary exposure, so I still end up drawing NSFW. But also because of my asexuality, it's not really for my arousal either. I don't know what I get out of it, exactly. I'm coming to terms that it's okay to explore sexuality via art, and fetishes are a part of that- but again, it's strange, because I'm not really into what I draw. I suppose it's a "this is the only thing I know" situation. Like a lot of commenters here, I agree that adults should be able to participate in whatever fetishes they want, in a safe, consensual way. But most importantly- privately! Away from kids! And it shouldn't involve kids at all! Whatever someone does in the bedroom is none of my business- in fact, I don't want to know- but god, should it stay between the adults who actually want to participate. I feel a lot for the kids who were exposed to fetish content and hate themselves for it- whether they gained said fetishes or not. It makes me more concerned for the current kids who could end up stumbling across this crap on RUclips to this day. It makes me hate the people who groom kids into participating in their fetishes unknowingly, and the cycle of damage it causes. TL;DR asexual person who was exposed to fetish shit as a child now has an strange relationship with sex as a whole. help If you somehow read through this, thanks. I hope you can heal and find closure, if not acceptance about what you saw and what you're into. it's late for me i need to stop typing
Don't blame yourself. Everything you did and what you are is okay. You even sound like a good person. You are a victim of predators. They targeted you and there was nothing you could do about it; none of that is your fault. That shame you felt? Other fetishists feel that too. But they seek to validate themselves by exposing their fetishes to young impressionable people. It's predatory. You didn't engage in that. You stopped the cycle. You did the best thing so thank you. What happened to you is terribly sad and I'm so sorry.
Same here… I was exposed to these… things… when I was just about 4 years old. I currently identify as pan/ace. I don’t have any interest in anything more than a romantic relationship, I don’t feel the need to and it even disgusts me imagining *myself* participating in something that intimate. But when I was a kid, I did start to feel some weird things as I started to watch that content, like the girl in the video, I was hooked, I think I managed to stop it in time because it was starting to scare me. A few years later, I looked back and realized, those feelings were… you know… and to be honest, it makes me feel quite insecure about my asexuality… watching this video and recognizing some of the clips Raymundo showed made me feel weird, but not in the same way as before, it made me feel numb. When I clicked I was a bit afraid that the clips would bring back the feelings from before but they really didn’t. This whole thing… it’s just… it’s fucked up…
Gosh, this makes me feel so bad. As an ace person who has no interest in sex, I watched Solar Sands videos partly out of curiosity and partly out of the cringe factor. Because I have never experienced sexual attraction, I wondered why people were into what they were into. I was an adult when I did so, so it wasn't traumatic for me. But hearing stories like this make me feel bad for enjoying those videos.
P0rn gives you a dopamine hit even if you DONT get arousal from it. This has been studied by people looking at porn users and sometimes when people get porn addicted they just start watching the porn but not getting off, its dopamine hits.
As someone who grew up being exposed to this artist on both RUclips and Deviantart, I genuinley felt a chill down my spine when I saw the thumbnail for this.
As someone that’s into vore and not ashamed of it, I do think it’s a big issue that a lot of this stuff doesn’t get age restricted. A hopeful part of me says that it’s due to negligence, which is still a problem, but I know that a lot of it is more sinister, and it’s disgusting that people like Kphoria seemingly TRY to show it to kids. Make no mistake, nudity or not, vore is NSFW, it is 18+ content, and it shouldn’t be available to underage people any more than naked people should. And I don’t even want to get into the surprisingly high amount of people that DEPICT underage people in this content, it’s a problem everywhere, but it’s still worth acknowledging and scrutinizing, because it’s disgusting. I never saw Kphoria- or much vore at all really- until I already knew I was into it, but I feel so bad for the people that discovered their fetish because of stuff like this and now have such a self-hatred from something that wasn’t their fault Moral of the story, fetish content should be held to the same standards as “regular” porn. People shouldn’t be exposed to it unless they’re looking to it, and it shouldn’t be pedophilic, can’t believe I have to say that but that’s where we are now. It’s sad that so little regulation exists for stuff like this, I think due in part to the lesser amount of people that are invested in the content, but no excuse is enough, and people like Kphoria and Kusemek are only particularly notable and vile results of an underlying issue that needs to be fixed as soon as possible
True, i know a couple of big name artists and all are normal people with the understanding that Kids shouldn't be exposed to any of this stuff yeah we were exposed to it as kids BUT it's better to prevent it from being exposed to the future kids for their own sake
I remember hating myself for years when I originally discovered I liked vore when I was not even 13 and I didn't really get over that hate till recently and even then it still lingers :(
Kphoria wasn’t trying to show this to kids, he just let them because he’s high on the spectrum and thus is too stupid to see nothing wrong with letting them watch his stuff.
Tbf you didn't miss out much anyway even as memes come and go. The only ones I can recommend what's the best of the internet is Siivagunner and Vinesauce.
honestly the whole elsagate thing has ruined gen z sexually... its not just vore, shit like pregnancy, r-pe, and torture all were huge in the elsagate sphere, its really sad and disgusting considering it was all adults doing this to kids
Y'know, part of me wonders if the Elsagate cycle will ever end. The last video about it did well, but it's scary that these fetish videos never truly left.
As long as there's popular media made for/targeted towards kids, there will always be those weirdos that think making weirdass content involving said media that will inevitably attract kids is totally okay. Unless RUclips is willing to go even harder on moderating that type of content, it'll never go away.
@@ajgameguy3674 "Tries it's hardest to keep off all and any Elsagate videos off the entire platform." I think I'll be adding THAT to my list of what a great social media app should do...
I love that the only kink shaming that was done here was for people who don't filter their fetish art and the people that use underage characters in their art. Well done!
@@ILoveCats6000 I know. It was so painful to sit through this video knowing that I was one of those kids who stumbled on this way back then. I've been stuck with this stupid fetish since late middle school and words cannot describe how badly I want it gone. It feels too disgusting to try and reclaim but every attempt I've tried never works. I just can't seem to beat it out of me.
I was a victim of unrestricted access to the internet and Kphoria. This shit is not just a meme, but a genuine struggle with how I perceive the world around me due to me being numbed to overly sexual imagery. It's really sad...
Yeah, I haven’t even thought about the way this stuff has affected me now. The second interview he did was super relatable in just the worst way. I wasn’t a victim of Kphoria, but of being into warrior cats and Pokémon and using deviant art. I quickly became exposed to Vore and inflation and now if I stumble across it today I’m just numb to it all. I’ve never seen someone cover this topic before, but I don’t think it will be the last. I think as the years go by and kids who had unrestricted video access come out we will see just how wide spread the negative effects easily accessible often fetishistic porn is.
@@Aries-kw6of they have elsagate. and things like the amazing digital circus and other weird mascot horror that is parodied and used in the way Elsa and spiderman were back in 2019. they WILL be doomed.
I actually grew up with this guys content and it was all my dad's fault. My mum always made sure that what I was watching was safe for me and not fetish content however my father just wanted me to stay away from him while he watched his porn horrors. This man would just type "sonic" or "mario" and let shit play leading me to watch this man's content thinking it was a episode of sonic x or the super Mario bros super show while my mother was out shopping. When my dad left for the milk we couldn't pay for internet so my mum went out of her way to get so sonic x dvds and imagine her surprise when my younger sister asked why wasn't amy eating sonic💀
What's awful is, DeviantArt _did_ and still does, have a working tagging system. As well as locking up accounts under 18 from seeing anything marked by the user as NSFW The problem I remember having, was, at least during the time I was on DeviantArt, none of these folks would *tag* or *mark* their fetish art at all. And, would also very much even find ways to excuse themselves by explaining the ways it wasn't NSFW or harmful at all. It even happens on Twitter now, with very obvious fat fetish art. Children seeing this stuff is purposeful. Don't excuse it, and don't find ways to think that it _isn't_ on purpose. These people KNOW that children are on these websites. They WANT them to see it, and it is still very uncomfortable to see.. Very well done video, Raymundo. I wish you the best, and I'm so sorry for what everyone has witnessed.. No one deserves to see such things they don't consent to, especially as a child. :c I'll be honest. That MLP kissing stuff has brought back some memories. I didn't even realize that was possible fetish stuff until this video.. 😭😭
Same with sites like Weasyl, the fetish art is never tagged properly and is often tagged without the fetish entirely and will usually have whatever fandom its from along with whatever tags are most popular.
@@Lesbiwolf92 Dude that is so messed up :( !! These patterns should have made it obvious to people that there's no chance that it's an accident. But, unfortunately, I so frequently see people actively defend it all, it feels almost useless trying to call it out as something bad. Especially when you start actively get attacked for it all.. It's devastatingly sad to see. And, it'll only continue if people keep defending it.
As someone into vore, Kphoria's art is considered low-tier, bottom of the barrel content not even the most desperate voraphiles would enjoy. And yes, his DeviantArt and RUclips videos are the reason why I even know what it is in the first place. I wish I didn't have this fetish, but it's something I have to accept about myself :(.
Yeah, I'm into that stuffs too and its bad lol. I remember being introduced to that stuff when I was in my mid teens tho, and then Ridiculouscake's animations really seal the deal. Unlike others I don't hate myself for having millions of fetishes, but the kid stuff man. Its too gross
me and my lil sister are sonic fans, and we laughed hysterically at sonic vore because it was so absurd to us. generally i considered overeating and stomach inflation to be disturbing because it made my stomach hurt, had no idea it was a fetish until i grew up 😅
I genuinely vividly remember watching the sonic & amy one multiple times, laughing, then moving on to like a harmless plush video next. I never knew it was fetish content until years later.
I unfortunately was one of them back in 2007. I remember watching his Rayman meeting Kirby video back then as well as his other Rayman videos at the time. But as I dug deeper. It was such a huge regret for me.
I should point out too that back in the day, Kphoria routinely shut down his critics by flagging any and every video criticizing him as “cyberbullying”. He would also get his fans to harass his critics, one time even putting out a journal entry on his now deleted DeviantArt account full of the names of everyone who ever criticized or trolled him. Worst of all, since this was early RUclips which would sometimes have knee jerk reactions to videos being flagged, some users lost their RUclips channels just for criticizing the guy. That’s part of why he was able to spread his terrible videos throughout RUclips for years and even get a damn Play Button
as someone who grew up in the early 2010s (born 2006), had unrestricted access to youtube on my og model ipad, and was a MASSIVE my little pony, mario, and sonic fan as a kid, i have literally no idea how i never stumbled across this channel, although i'm definitely grateful. not that didn't stop me from stumbling across this stuff on deviantart as a 7 year old 😭😭😭😭😭
So true. And I mostly knew this content was bad so I avoided it. But that was after realizing the effect it had on me. We’re probably all autistic here too, right?
I recently have been struggling with keeping away the urge to jump head first of my bed after what i saw on deviantart 2 weeks back. Basically, Mario, Sonic, mlp, etc aren't the only fandoms with this fetish content, the f***ing thomas fandom does too. I saw s*** on deviantart that i never want to see again
i’d say i’m doing better these days. i have some weird kinks, sure, but i don’t let them consume my daily life much, and i feel just as much attraction to “normal” stuff. recently told my girlfriend about it, and even though she’s not into the same stuff, i appreciate that she’s been so accepting. it’s hard to get kinks to go away, but i’ve learned to live with them to the best of my ability. i believe, as long as you don’t practice anything dangerous in reality, it’s not impossible to heal.
I relate to Leo’s story HEAVILY. I had unrestricted internet access as a kid and having these types of fetishes makes my skin crawl. It sucks because I’m still a kid technically. I don’t want to be affected by those types of fetishes and it sucks that I am. I honestly wish I could go back and take away the iPad from 4 year old me or whatever age I was when I first got an iPad. This video has given me a lot of reassurance that people went through the same thing that I did at a young age. Thank you Raymundo for talking about it.
I remember stumbling upon multiple videos of vore comics and animations several years ago. This was years before elsagate was brought to everyone's attention and gained wide notoriety.
When I was a kid, I was sick of school for about a month. One of my friends made me a get well soon card and the front of the card was a lovingly cut out illustration of the Kphoria Snivy vore. She knew I liked Pokémon, and neither of us even realised it was fetish content since we were so young. I suspect she just googled Snivy and found it on images. I still have that card somewhere.
The people who were talking about having the fetish and hating themselves for it makes me feel so fucking upset cause the fact that none of the people who post stuff like this actually give a damn that they’ve affected people is so obvious since they’re all still posting on RUclips and not finding somewhere else that’s at the very least got a restriction system in place that makes sure you can’t see it unless you have an account.
Exactly. Also a problem because a lot of the reason why people hate having fetishes is because of the backlash and disgust towards it, even if the fetish is safe and/or "tame". Especially on the internet
Having a fetish DOES NOT normally make it impossible to enjoy anything else. Kinks and fetishes can often be acquired in innocuous ways - neurology just allows it. When that happens, though, those things are seasoning. Icing on the cake of sexuality. And, just the same, so is a good pair of heels, or a particularly nice hairdo. Normal things excite as much, or more, than fetishes when real people are involved. All this evil is permanently distorting people.
I never encountered Kphoria as a kid, but I somehow found this other vore channel, it was called, like, "Supervore" or something. It confused me, but I would sometimes watch their "animations" out of morbid curiosity. Thankfully, I never developed a vore fetish.
Unfortunately because of Kphoria, I did. And it devolved into my pornography addiction I struggled with throughout the entirety of my teens. Only ever booting it November of last year, yet I still struggle with the effects and aftermath of such. But fortunately I’m at least off the deep end.
yeah for real, i dont think a lot of people realise that most of the fetish art community is chill and minds their own business liking what they like, its just the bad apples that spoil the bunch. speaking as somebody whos been in the fat fetish community for quite a long time
Yeah I have connections to that community too and it’s really a shame to see someone who would take matters to the extreme, let alone doing this kinda content on child characters.
Since people are open here, I'll be completely honest myself. When I was a little kid, for some reason I had some fascination for stomachs? I have no clue where it started, but I remember it being present since pre-school age. I remember getting a funny feeling whenever I saw characters in a cartoon getting a distended gut. I was lucky never to have sat and watched Kphoria's videos, but I was still exposed to him as a kid - and a bunch of other fetishes in general. I watched many art videos when I got my first tablet when I was around 8 years old. I eventually came across Solar Sands, and he quickly became my idol. I always wanted to be a professional artist, so I always took note of his art criticisms to form my own artstyle. It was a childhood dream for him to review my art one day... I watched a bunch of other DeviantArt RUclipsrs as well. Solar Sands, The Fandom Menace, DeviantCringe, etc... Whenever they browsed DeviantArt and certain fetish art came up, it gave me an odd feeling - and I had no clue what it was as a kid. I remember the word "fetish" coming up a lot in the videos, but I never understood what it meant. I had it in my head these people knew what "good art" was, and I took their criticisms and preferences as truth - so I dont know why I was drawn to these fetish artworks that they condemned. Eventually, I started browsing DeviantArt myself. I never had an account of my own, so I did not post or interact with people.. Thank God. I saw Kphoria's stuff while browsing, but I never went through his gallery because his stuff is low quality. Why look at that when there's so much better art out there? It also did not help that a lot of the drawings had Pokemon. Pokemon was a huge hyperfixation for me back then. I remember just searching "(random Pokemon) vore" all the time for different species of Pokemon to see if art existed.. When I realized at around 10 years old that this was indeed sexual, I began watching videos on RUclips of REAL LIFE stuffing and bloating... Some of the videos are age-restricted, but I would watch the ones that were not every other night. I think the fetish was always kind of there, but being exposed to DeviantArt as a child played a huge role in me discovering it. Now I am stuck with a stuffing fetish and a stomach growling fetish - and normal sex stuff barely does anything for me. At one point I thought I was asexual... but no, only aroused when someone has a stuffed stomach. Im very ashamed of it, really. I was never in a serious relationship, so Im terrified at the thought of confessing to my future partner what arouses me.
my experience was honestly super similar to yours. as a kid i also had a fascination with stomachs. no reason as to why, i just thought something about em was intriguing. the feelings i’d get back when i was like 4-6 looking at this type of stuff didn’t ring any bells to me as a kid. i felt weird, but thought it was “normal”. but i think exposure to fetish content and such definitely “worsened” the fascination. thanks to me finding out about certain fetish content and videos, i’m now stuck with a good amount of fetishes related to stomachs. wont say which but yeah i totally get you :-( i feel so odd for liking this typa stuff but i really can’t help it.
Hey! I’ve also grew up having a belly kink as well. While I am not ashamed of it, I’ve had some bad days. So I know that it’s hard, especially when it comes to the dating life. But I’m sure that when the right person shows up in your life, they can respect you for your kink. Even if they may not always want to indulge with it as you do, they at least SHOULD acknowledge that’s a part of you and what gets you going when it comes to naughty time. 👍
I think someone has to say it I believe that artists, as long doesn’t involve real people and animals, must be allowed to make whatever they want. However, they also need to be in their spaces and sites, where they properly tag their work. I remember when the internet was more segregated and there was safe websites made for kids. However, with the rise of social media, the internet got smaller with few sites with no age restrictions in which children are more vulnerable to being exposed and come across NSFW work accidentally, even if wasn’t the artist fault.
I remember being confused with the vore videos more than anything when I was younger, I thought it was supposed to be a story thing and always questioned why it always ended the same way without "solving the problem" of the characters getting out.
The Amazing Digital Circus did an awesome jab at this: Each time someone makes an original IP, and it gets enough fans, some people somewhere will always create degenerate works of art with it.
Oh man I came across these videos as a kid. When trying to explain them to my friend a few months ago, I couldn't find any trace of this person's stuff. I'm sure this video will be enlightening.
yeah, i’m surprised so many people have had similar rabbit holes as kids. even tho i was 11 and not particularly educated, i clocked the vore guy as doing so often because “it felt good” to him - not because he thought it was funny.
Jesus Christ. Kphoria definitely was the patient zero of me getting into freaky shit, and while personally i consider myself "normal", those videos have definitely influenced me as a kid. I wish for nobody to have that experience. RUclips has a responsibility to stop this kind of shit for its younger audience, regardless of this website/app intending to be 13+. Kids will attempt to find stuff like this, and Im genuinely worried about the next generation, on top of other brainrot stuff. Great video, thanks for spreading the word.

(this is just my personal opinion based on my own experiences!) The theory that I 100% believe being the reason why a lot of people on the autism spectrum find themselves being geared towards fetishes like this is because of hyper-fixations and its influence on making people consume anything associated with a series or specific topic they're into. From my own experience, hyper-fixations can make you watch and/or do things you never thought of doing before. Said hyper-fixations are definitely the strongest during a younger age (in my experience) and I feel as if a lot of fetish artists took advantage of that fact by using more recognizable characters to children. It really does suck to see people unintentionally pull themselves into a rabbit hole that can permanently alter how you process as a human being. I hope any victims of this type of exposure are doing better now.
Same here, but these fetish artists either don’t seem to attract kids beyond make art of characters like mario and sonic who are already household names.
As a person on the spectrum myself who has fallen victim to this stuff, I would have to say the problem is how people on the spectrum have slowed/delayed development. They too have, in some varying degrees and aspects (key word, varying), the mentality of a child even going into adulthood. This is why it's VERY important that autistic children have as good an influence as possible, because it will affect their development into adulthood later on.
I may be a rare case but my hyperfixations have only gotten stronger as I got older. It may be because I never got to have a childhood due to certain traumatic events but I get more focused on the things I like a lot more than I did when I was younger.
@@NovikNikolovic 100% agreed. Sucks to see that a lot of people on the spectrum have parents that leave them with unrestricted Internet access and a whole lot of weird tendencies and idealisms in the future 😕

"Which sucks for the genuinely good artists out there," *cut to Leon buff af and shirtless* (no hate just thought it was funny... and honestly understandable.)
Came across their channel as a kid and watched a video, could’ve sworn it was a weird nightmare. For years the name was stuck in my head and today was the day I find out Kphoria was sadly real.
You hit the nail on the head with "If you say it is not targeted towards kids, prove it by restricting it" - I gurantee you they won't. I have become very suspicious of anyone who creates s*xual content in a medium that is mostly consumed by minors (comic, anime, cartoon) - and yea, I know there is a lot of professional adult media produced in those styles by actual, regulated production companies - but you, as an individual "nobody" on the internet: Who do you want this to see? And who is able to see it? This stuff is just very telling. If you upload this content on a platform minors can access, or even market it to them, something is wrong.
As somebody with an inflation fetish, I do still have to agree that this stuff shouldn't be exposed to impressionable children. Moral of the story is that if you make fetish content, PLEASE age restrict it. Keep the fetishy stuff to the adults only, and keep the children as far away from it as possible Also, personally, I do kind of wish that DeviantArt had a fetish filter, so those who aren't interested in fetishy content doesn't have to see it in their feed. Too bad DA is more focused on AI garbage... Also, if anybody is curious, YES, inflation of children is a HUGE no-no in the inflation community, and it's frowned upon by many fetish artists, myself included. It's practically an unspoked rule in the community to steer clear of characters that are clearly children, because no matter your intent or excuse, it's NEVER a good look. I genuinely find it disgusting how much fetish art there is of Dragon Maid Kanna, Anya Forger, and Cream the Rabbit... eugh... :(
This gave me long term trauma literally back in the early 2010's and now this video is in my recommendations, these Kphoria videos literally terrified me as a kid for weeks
As someone into vore and somewhat active in the community, Kphoria was a part of how I discovered it. As far as I remember, I did have some platonic interest in the idea growing up - I recall the whale from Spyro 3 and the one scene from one of the All Dogs Go To Heaven movies where Charlie is in the gator's mouth before knowing about Kphoria, so in all likelihood I probably would have had this fetish anyway. Kphoria was the one who made me realize it was definitely a sexual thing, though. I had thought for the longest time he was just tone deaf about it, but seeing that clip of Sonic explaining vore, referring to the audience "not doing homework" alongside outright calling vore a "fetish" that people find "sexy" - yeah, there's no plausible deniability getting around that. To the gallows with 'im. Even if I would've gotten the kink anyway, it probably would have developed later if Kphoria didn't end up recommended to me. I've started feeling, like, violated about it once I realized it was effectively stochastic grooming.
i’m in a similar situation, i remember when i was a kid and watching tv, i was weirdly fascinated by scenes where a character eats too much and gains a big belly from it, so me being into fat/vore/inflation fetishes was probably inevitable for me, even if i didn’t watch kphoria. i find it disgusting how he basically encouraged exposing his fetish videos to kids.
This unlocked a core memory for me. This is why parents should monitor what their kids are watching. Yes, this was the original elsagate from the mid 2000's, and I was unfortunate enough to encounter it when I was like 10 or 12. Kids watching this disgusting content, especially regularly, does affect them. It encourages them to seek out for this stuff and get addicted to it. Kphoria was the main reason I got exposed and "into" a certain fetish, and I wish I didn't encounter their content. I hate that there's people out there grooming kids into engaging in these things. I fear for all things elsagate becoming prominent for this reason. BTW, Leo's section resonates with me, because its my exact same experience, word for word (minus the furry part). This stuff really does affect one's romantic relationship and can't easily get off to something that's not linked to the fetish. It is dreadful, it fuels my self hatred and regret for discovering this stuff.
Exactly. I don't have kids, but I know people who do, and leave them unmonitored on their own phone/iPad. I once saw a family friend's niece watching inflation MLP videos, and I couldn't do anything about it since she's not my kid and her parents were neglectful, they weren't in the house, so I couldn't talk to them. The kid was often left with her grandparents. Now that I think about it, kids shouldn't be left with a phone, period. The only electronic they're safe being left with, would be a handheld gaming console, if parents insist on leaving them with a device.
@@dudueazul8771 I didn't ask for this, but I can't blame my own parents because the internet wasn't prominent for them. We can, however, put full responsibility on parents now, with the internet being widely accessible, especially for kids.
It’s perhaps inevitable. Why companies like Nintendo don’t mass-copyright strike the inappropriate stuff using characters they own like this but go after completely innocent fan games and other works that don’t do these wrong things is so backwards.
@@LonelyGamer4 Still, they don’t bother to check if the game is non-profit or not. Just mindlessly striking them down for using their characters. Fair use doesn’t exist to Nintendo in that regard.
If you're online at 9 your doomed to start I didn't let my children online till 16 and monitor them heavily Parents need to get with the program busy or not watch your kids
gonna be so real, as a kid that wasnt supposed to be online til it was 13, that is outright not possible anymore. schools get you online in elementary school. if you dont have internet access at home you are going to fall behind. i was online as early as 8 years old, on my 3ds. my moms version of internet safety didnt keep me safe, it just taught me to be paranoid. it didnt keep me from getting groomed because nobody told me groomers will masquerade as your friend for months before trying to manipulate porn out of you. what we need is better internet safety education. if youre worried about your kid running into shit they aint sposed to, then have a talk with them about that stuff ahead of time instead of pretending theyll never find it through other means.
As someone who is into vore this is a great watch! Great explanation on the topic! I remember stumbling upon kphoria as a kid from his sonic videos and even back then I found them uncomfortable and weird. This kind of thing should definitely be brought up when teaching about stranger danger, because it is very much an extension of it. It is really scary that perpetrators can corrupt unsuspecting youths without either one even knowing what the other looks like. Kids need just as much supervision online as they do in person. _If_ parents are going to let their kids watch RUclips on their own, the least they should do is restrict all their browsing to a manually curated list of channels. That way, they won't even have the chance to be tempted by inappropriate or even low-quality content.
im so thankful this guy wasn’t kinkshaming anyone. instead, he blamed the rightful groomers for exposing children to it. shaming people for what they already know is “weird” is pointless and cruel, but shaming those who expose it to children is more than justified. not all fetishists are child predators but they certainly have their unjust and disgusting places in all sorts of fetish communities. I would very much like to open up about my own experience but eh. Just take what I’ve already said.

I’m autistic, and discovered Kphoria when I around 10-11 years old. I didn’t really understand that it was fetishy content, even after hearing it described as such. I didn’t know why I liked this kind of content, yet… I knew enough to hide it from my mother. It led me to making a DeviantART account, at 13, so I can find more of this content. In fact, I ended up finding Kphoria’s account on there, and it led me to using those templates to basically make my own “art” in his style. I honestly probably would’ve continued for a long time, as well, if my laptop at the time didn’t die, as a result of stupidly downloading dubious files, lol. Admittedly, I did enjoy the community that I met and interacted with during the time. I discovered that I was a furry and found many people who shared the same interests as me. Looking back on it though… I did / said a looot of crap that I definitely shouldn’t have. I don’t fault anyone I was involved with-I shouldn’t have been interacting with this kind of content at the time. I remember even showing some of Kphoria’s videos to my IRL friends in middle school. They found it funny, and, at the time, I thought it was funny, too… but I was actually getting aroused, and I didn’t understand why. Despite all that… I honestly think I came out better in the end. Obviously, I shouldn’t have consumed this type of content as a child, and I absolutely discourage minors from doing the same, but I at least found a community that I can associate with. Also, my laptop dying forced me to actually start drawing things for myself and others, so… there’s that. XP PS: In case you’re wondering, no, none of my old “art” is on DeviantART anymore-I actually deactivated my account last year, due to the AI image debacle going on. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Honestly the interview was a little relatable to me. I think I had a similar experience of gaining a fetish from media and such, and so I'm happy to see someone explain their experience with going about having a fetish they wish they didn't have, and calling out how fucked up it is that characters who are canonically minors are so frequently used in fetish art. There's nothing wrong with MOST fetish art existing (again minus shit like canonical minors being involved) but it definitely shouldn't be easy for children to stumble across or access. It’s part of my life that still haunts me even though me and her are no longer in contact three years later. The show had a lot of adult jokes and "icky" humor that messed with me a lot and gave me a weird feeling. i think they should put more explicit warnigs, bcs i've been already exposed to an nsfw video that OPENLY SAID it was nsfw and i didn't know what that meant. so i ended up watching it. so yeah, maybe more explicit sexual content warnings would be better than just nsfw. Idk
The fact this is uploaded a day before “Vore day” that is 8/8 is probably not a coincidence

And Is Shit.
As someone who’s also ended up being into weird shit due to kids content, I’m really glad people are speaking out more about it and that it’s becoming more well known. Hearing from Leo helps me feel like I’m not alone, and your words are very comforting. I hope this can be stopped before more children are affected.
Exactly. i got therapy for most of my issues, but i still need some now for a bunch of other reasons, even in adulthood.

Exactly, thank you
I agree

In regards to the commonality of people being autistic and into this fetish, here are my thoughts as someone with the condition with family members also effected:
Autistic children are much more susceptible to patterns and consistent behaviour.
You would've loved the Barbie website, but I'm so sorry that happened
Omg the games for girls stuff was so weird

Using a burner account to ramble about this:
I am in a very, very strange situation similar to a couple of commenters here.
There was the usual "i saw something really fucked up and scary" but there was also "i saw something really fucked up and horny"
I think that youtubers such as Solar Sands and other "deviantart cringe" channels were the first ones to actually expose me to fetish content.
Probably because 1) I was embarrassed by it and 2) I knew that I didn't want to expose anybody else to that subject matter
In general, I have a complicated relationship with NSFW.
TL;DR asexual person who was exposed to fetish shit as a child now has an strange relationship with sex as a whole. help
If you somehow read through this, thanks.
This whole thing… it’s just… it’s fucked up…
I can relate to being turned off by this stuff.
I don't blame you.
I don't understand how this didn't traumatise me when I was younger, it's genuinely vile.
Not all kids are the same emotional and temperment wise. Trauma affects people differently.

You are a trooper for censoring the ”art “. You have saved so many eyes.
I never saw Kphoria- or much vore at all really- until I already knew I was into it, but I feel so bad for the people that discovered their fetish because of stuff like this and now have such a self-hatred from something that wasn’t their fault
Moral of the story, fetish content should be held to the same standards as “regular” porn.
True, i know a couple of big name artists and all are normal people with the understanding that Kids shouldn't be exposed to any of this stuff
yeah we were exposed to it as kids BUT it's better to prevent it from being exposed to the future kids for their own sake

What's awful is, DeviantArt _did_ and still does, have a working tagging system. As well as locking up accounts under 18 from seeing anything marked by the user as NSFW
The problem I remember having, was, at least during the time I was on DeviantArt, none of these folks would *tag* or *mark* their fetish art at all.

I also remember watching these poor-quality PowerPoint animations, and completely forgot about the channel's name. 8/
When i was 11 i liked vore and even drew it once, thanks to my unrestricted access to the internet and freaks like these people
Unfortunately because of Kphoria, I did. And it devolved into my pornography addiction I struggled with throughout the entirety of my teens. Only ever booting it November of last year, yet I still struggle with the effects and aftermath of such.
But fortunately I’m at least off the deep end.
I occasionally look it up either out of morbid curiosity or just because I need to know. But rarely do I watch anything of that “quality”

Anything is better than v0re that shit is NASTY, yur not gross btw

I believe that artists, as long doesn’t involve real people and animals, must be allowed to make whatever they want.
This
The child pointing out the food inflation by title breaks my heart.
I remember being confused with the vore videos more than anything when I was younger, I thought it was supposed to be a story thing and always questioned why it always ended the same way without "solving the problem" of the characters getting out.

(this is just my personal opinion based on my own experiences!)
The theory that I 100% believe being the reason why a lot of people on the autism spectrum find themselves being geared towards fetishes like this is because of hyper-fixations and its influence on making people consume anything associated with a series or specific topic they're into.

Came across their channel as a kid and watched a video, could’ve sworn it was a weird nightmare. For years the name was stuck in my head and today was the day I find out Kphoria was sadly real.
The scary thing is not that Kphoria exists, but that there are people like you...
Keep the fetishy stuff to the adults only, and keep the children as far away from it as possible
Also, personally, I do kind of wish that DeviantArt had a fetish filter, so those who aren't interested in fetishy content doesn't have to see it in their feed.
Yeah i agree
100% true parents need to monitor what their kids see in the internet that is important.

XP
PS: In case you’re wondering, no, none of my old “art” is on DeviantART anymore-I actually deactivated my account last year, due to the AI image debacle going on. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I had some very embarrassing and emotional memories when I was with my lady back in High School that I lost because of a non-vore-related fetish. It’s part of my life that still haunts me even though me and her are no longer in contact three years later.
Edit: For those wondering it wasn't caused by Elsagate or Kphoria it was actually because of a TV Show I watched back when I was at my grandparent's house when i was little called Total Drama Island. The show had a lot of adult jokes and "icky" humor that messed with me a lot and gave me a weird feeling. I do like the show still, but it impacted me throughout my life in relationships on what is normal and what's not normal. It's something i still regret to this day by exposing myself to that even though it used to air on Cartoon Network
I still remember stumbling across his Sonic videos when I was between the ages of 4-7 and being so confused as to what was happening. Worst thing that I'm never forgetting is that his videos are what got me into Sonic in the first place.
Ngl you can consider Vore as horror
That's part of the appeal for a lot of those who enjoy jt
@@BlueMageDaisen ngl that's kinda effed
@@gordonfreeman1163 Some people find enjoyment by playing a villain, and others find enjoyment by playing the victim
It can be cathartic to experience those sensations in a safe and consenting environment
Degrees of control and loss of control with someone you trust can be ironically freeing
@@BlueMageDaisen I don't think someone might actually consent to be swallowed whole and digested 💀💀
This shit is not healthy, psychopathic even. Fr these people should go touch grass instead or play some vidya.
As an enjoyer of horror it makes all the sense, I feel horror can light up similar lights as someething like vore or something similar@@BlueMageDaisen
