We found 2 ticks on our socks after hiking in Rouge National Urban Park

Well, we followed the suggestions from Rouge National Urban Park and checked ourselves for ticks. Fortunately, we had our pant legs tucked into our socks, and deet bug spray applied around our ankles, but as it turned out, 2 ticks had found their way into my boots and were on my socks.
