What size of timber did you use for collar and double up the rafters?
    Thanks

Do u need a steel ridge beam for this?

In most cases Velux conversions can be designed with out need for a ridge beam. If you get a good structural engineer it’s possible. 👌🏻

Could I hire your team to design the plans for our loft conversion? We live in the United States? Not a lot of businesses do what you guys do!

Just been told today we can't do a loft converstion in our bungalow as its a trussed roof.

Hi been told it's 100mm to low. But we are happy to lift it up, could we have a conversation, otherwise we are going to have to consider moving If you cover the Hampshire area.

I hope they stop using these monster truss today.
They must have lost their minds in the 80's and 90's to come up with that messy webbing!
