- Опубликовано: 9 май 2022
- We spent 21 hours in total throughout this video chasing one of my dream fish. A specific fish caught in a specific way. A huge striped bass, not only caught on live bait, but a true monster caught on a massive topwater plug. This is an epic video, hope you all enjoy!

I hope y’all enjoyed a little personal touch on the intro today! I do enjoy trying to break away from the traditional “Fishing RUclipsr” framework when I’m feeling creative.
Part 2 features and even more epic bite with even bigger fish. Be on the lookout!
Classy intro!
Nah I skipped that shit, no one cares to be honest.
This man is underrated
I appreciate the kind words and consistent support!
Every aspect of his fishing and presentation is solid. I subscribed. 😎👍
Project heli fan?
@@deedlefish yes
He is and he’s one of the best
This intro was hitting different this morning. I was sitting there eating Nutella with breadsticks driving to work at 7AM as you dropped that dime. Keep it up man!
Ryan! How do you not have 100k subs? Man, the content is unbelievably quality! Keep it up!
Haven’t earned it yet! We’ll get there together 🤙🏼
Your eloquent intro would have brought smiles to the faces of your English and Literature teachers ... you just keep getting better and better with your videos and I second your decision to follow your heart and do what you love for a living. Go Gators!
Thanks for your support and kind words throughout the years Bob!
Living in Ga has spoiled me with the striped bass fishery I have over here, they will always have a place in my heart.
My man Chris "Spicoli" rocking the American Angler North hoodie. Represent brotha!!
The art of fishing bait with the old Three-Eyed Shrimp!
Bro...... your intro inspired me man. You reminded me that no matter how tuff it gets to never stop chasing the dream. For Me my dream is being a saltwater charter captain. I am 18yrs old now and have been fishing ever since I was 3yrs old. I don't know where I would be without fishing but I do know where it can take me in life. Thanks for the inspiration big bro 🙏🏾
We have the same dream
Keep working! You’ll get there 🤙🏼
@@kateskrmetta2022 yessir 🔥💯
@@RyanMorie thanks bro 🙏🏾
as an NJ guy it's kinda wild to see how blown up this particular fishery has become in the last 5 years. 10 years ago this biomass of fish weren't there.
Thank You for your Service and God Bless you and keep you safe
Catching stripers on top water is so much fun! Especially when the water warms up they really bring the fight. Great video.
Awesome video Ryan! Great job capturing those experiences. Excellent video, that intro was unreal. Cant wait for part 2👍🏼
Thanks for a great time my dude!
@@RyanMorie anytime brother 👍🏼
Semper Fi, Devildog. It wasn't until this video did I know that you are a fellow brother in arms of the Marine Corps along with me, and now I know for sure why I enjoy your videos. I was stationed at Camp Lejeune and did 4 years 3 months; the 3 mos was trying to reup, but that's another long story.
RAH 🇺🇸
Such an amazing video thats addresses something we all think about every day thanks Ryan for putting it into words and letting us know we’re not alone.🤙
Glad you liked it!
The chicken scratch long A is one of my favorites. Although I prefer the magnum jointed long A in the gold color at night ;) if you can find them that is!
That’s a money bait!
This was a sick edit! Congrats on the stripes! Such a great fish.
Thanks for the pre-trip tips bro
This was a personal episode bro. From military and also my fishing grounds. Hope you had some fun in the urban environment. This spring has been a very good one for sure. Nice to see Joe on the fish as usual and he knows what’s going on out there.
Glad you liked it brother 🍻
@@RyanMorie I bet the next video is gonna be better because I know how the spring has been and where they were haha. Been sharing to a lot of my friends and it’s cool for another fisherman from another region to experience something different but with the same passion we all love. Next level RUclipsr for sure.
We gotta push you STRAIGHT to 100k real fast your videos are great man 🔥
Thanks for watching!
I have many great memories of doing that. Now I live down here, and for me, there’s no comparison Florida owns the crown. I’m addicted to snook fishing and all things inshore. This kid you are with is a good skipper he really fishes as opposed to dragging tube spreads on 50s. Subscribed
Been catching bass on 12 inch soft plastic with a weightless hook, highly recommend to give it a shot
Nice work fellas...
Thanks for the videos
Hey buddy you are fishing in my back yard lol .. love your videos keep up the good work.. I literally fish around that light house 3 to 4 times a week ..again great job and hope to see more video like this one in the future..
Great video! I’m a Fla. boy too, and have never fished north of Hatteras on the Atlantic side. That looks like a blast, a lot like our Snook fishing! Kudos!
They look like snook but are much more willing to eat which is pretty sick 🤙🏼
@@RyanMorie anything beats ‘snook lockjaw’! LOL! Those are serious fish eating serious baits! I’d love to drift through those bait schools with slow-pitch jigging gear! Has that Captain ever tried that?
I love this and am so proud of you!!
Thanks for watching!
you will get big soon. you're videos are getting better everyday. thank you for your service sir. 🙏
I’m content with controlling what I can control, and making the best vids that I’m capable of making at the time 🍻
Finally, a respectable striper video showing how we do it in the NY/NJ bight...well done
Intro was very beautiful and inspirational 😌
Nice video, well said in the beginning. Come to CT and try fishing here, its tough, its still cold... its a challenge!!
You go boy!
Awesome to see you fish my home waters it looks like you got the full experience. Great video maybe one of the best striper videos I've seen.
Part 2 is even better 👀
@@RyanMorie oh shit!
that intro was great man needed to hear something like that
Bro how does this dude not have more followers? He puts out super high quality content that RUclipsrs with even 500k followers or more don’t. You’re my favorite fishing RUclipsr Ryan! Keep up the amazing work, you’re awesome brotha! One of these days, your channel will blow and so many people will finally see what they’ve been missing.
I appreciate the kind words! Just trying to get better as the channel grows!
You’re gonna be the #1 fishing channel in time 🤙🏽
I’ll be content with being the best version of my own channel. Definitely nowhere near max potential yet!
@@RyanMorie I’ll be along for the journey 😎
Awesome video! Great content!!!
Glad you liked it! Capt Joe is a keeper for sure
Bro your videos are inspirational man!
I apologize brother, I was a little late to the party. So many big fish! Awesome video. Can’t wait for part two.
Stay safe out there brother!
You’re right on time! Cheers 🍻
I miss chasing big stripers on the Colorado River, willow beach has some monsters..
🤙
Its been a good spring migration! But come back for the fall it’s crazy up here in the MA and RI
very cool video. Liked and subbed. Will be watching more, keep up the content!
Love the intro...Great video bro..
Thanks Johnny! We gotta get out there again soon 🤙🏼
W intro it was 🔥🔥
Glad you liked it! 🍻

Rock Fish/Striper are the best eating fish ever. If you cook them correctly, they taste like blue crab meat. Bake the filets after coating them with mayo and season with Old Bay, salt and black pepper.
Sounds delicious!
Been watching since the beginning bud..deff came a long way. Next time your in ny hit me up let’s get it done bruh 💪🏽💪🏽
Great video man keep up the great work!! How do you feel about the 6k spheros
Secret, get the bait that way use a jig! Witch ever size , use accordingly!
Just subed, great content.
Welcome aboard 🤙🏼🍻
🙏 Thank you!!!!
Wish I would have known you were up here. You’re fishing my home waters. We’re having one of the best spring striper runs in recent years. Know exactly what body of water (& where) you were fishing.
Awesome fishery! Super glad I was able to experience it
@@RyanMorie FYI, try throwing one of the big topwater/spook type plugs along some of the sea walls down there when the big jacks are in--you’ll thank me later. Caught many #20 jacks on topwater/spook along the sea wall in Palm Beach & Lake Worth.
love to see you’re a fellow gator 🐊
Go Gators!
Best content keep up good work work for the 100k subs
Hey Ryan, hopefully you can help me. I get my avet lx 6.0 soon and I mostly pier fish but I’m not sure how heavy of line to put on it. I was gunna do 50Ib braid as a backing and then 80Ib mono but I wasn’t sure how that would work with a 60Ib leader on those clear days. If you can kinda tell me what size line to put on. That would be great. Also keep up the great videos. I love watching you
I'm working on my dream as well brother always the save route but I just got my 6 pack will have the offshore charter going soon!!
Wishing you all the best!
Goodness gracious Ryan I clicked on the video didn’t know I would cry in the first 2 minutes
Idk if I was going for that haha, but I’m definitely glad it resonated with you! Thanks for watching!
Haha ya it got to me lol great job bro
They catch some monsters up in Nova Scotia
Ryan you gotta come fish in the Long Island sound during June
You can’t tell me striped bass aren’t a northern variation of Rex drum they even eat the similar baits from crabs, shrimp , and bait fish
Are you up in Ct or NY? Because ik what to use for striped bass. That’s really the only fish to catch this time of year. But when the bunker run = top waters. Right now I was banging them on little rubber shad and the thing your useing
this was shot in new hampshire - def not NJ
I Whatch this guy everyday and just notice he has only 40k subs he deserves like 400k
Have to try fishing off of along Beach Island, New Jersey and Hit up fisherman’s Headquarters
That’s awesome man! I want to go up there and catch some striper some tome
I’d highly recommend it!
Hello Im your fan from Cambodia ❤️️
Thanks for watching 🤙🏼🍻
What brand are those spooks
50in snook in the beginning 😂
Still one of my biggest ever!
Why the eff am I emotional listening to the intro
Bet you didn’t expect that when you clicked a fishing video! 🤣 Thanks for watching!
Nothing but a Guido Snook
i was excited you uploaded a video but then ill realized it wasnt a florida video =(
I’ll take you fishing for anything you want in NJ
Do u travel with rod and reels ??
Just reels on this trip. I fly with a rod tube sometimes
@@RyanMorie any piers or areas in Miami to fish for snook or tarpon u recommend?
40” snook or 40” strip bass?
10:43 you say "nice topwater to start the day" I live in Arizona and have a few fisheries of striper on freshwater where we compete and the only way to win comps, from my experience is to only do topwater any hour of the day. Don't ever be fooled in to thinking that topwater is sunrise only or you're leaving the best fish in the water... 1/3 of the boat should always throw topwater on stripers all day if you can unless they're only marking 50'+ and if that's the case, you need to move to where they're 20-0' range and still throw both top, swimbait, and chunked/live bait.
Edit: you guys look like me in all that mineral sunblock 🤣🤣 All you're missing is the Mexican straw hats.
How come ur not using conventional reels
Damn should’ve hit me up
You gotta cut that blood line off the outside or it's pretty fishy.
Got some really good footage of some geese and their babies that just hatched on my channel someone check it out really good footage

Great fishing action…but eww NJ…
