- In this van adventure Episode, we go Bass fishing in a desert canyon, then do a giant Catfish catch & cook right in camp! Fishing for catfish is a total blast and cooking catfish is absolutely delicious. This was the first Channel Catfish catch, clean, cook I've ever done and I can't wait to do another! We are so blessed to live in the NW. I spend as much time as possible fushing the Umatilla and Columbia river for Salmon, Steelhead, Channel cats. I'm lucky enough to be surrounded by small lakes where I spend time trout fishing. I love this channel! Ive been fishing for over 20yrs and I STILL squeel and jump up and down when I land any fish! Keep posting! Love it!

Same here @NixTheFox ! Leif got me interested again last year shortly after he started posting videos. I started fishing again after being out of that life for over 40 years. Now I go fishing at least once a week and my wife bought me a bass boat!

Picking up the trash was my favorite part of the video. Living in the south, it’s ridiculous sometimes how much people litter. You’re the man!!
I almost never actually cut a catfish belly, here in the south their diet is way too nasty and you don't want the guts in your kitchen lol. I just filet it straight off. Another great video, as always

Word of advice find someone who does fish a lot to go with you because if you don't have the right technique and skill level you're not going to catch anything and you're going to give up on it really fast

A true sportsman that cares about keeping the outdoor campsites clean . Lived in Bend, Oregon for 8 years, and 5 minutes from Deschutes National Forest and use to go out on weekends and clean up other people's trash by the pickup loads . Always wanted to dump at front door at Forest Service office in Bend! !

Roses lake next to Lake Chelan has mass huge channel cats, huge rainbows, tiger trout, bass, crappie perch. One of my favorite lakes ever.

Lake washington, lake Sammamish, cedar river, greenlake (stocked with trout and has catfish), Puget sound too if you fish saltwater.

Puget Sound is great for saltwater fish n squid. The rivers have Salmon.... Not many places that DON’T have fish 😂 🤙🏻
